Toby's POV:

"Ok I know where to go to "study" ?" I said. "Where?" Spencer asks. "Get on," I hopped on to my Harley motorcycle. "What the hell, why are we getting on to your motorcycle?" "Do you want to go or not?" She stepped back, "where are we going?" "It's a surprise!" I laughed.
She hopped on and we drove off. We soon pulled up into a gravel parking lot. I helped her remove her helmet and then covered her eyes. "Where are we?" "Hold on we're almost there." We walked a few feet then I uncovered her eyes and she screamed! "Oh my god!, you took us to the beach!" We took off our shoes and ran to the shore, as the calm water ran over our toes. "Toby I love this!" She ran up and hugged me tightly, I wrapped my hands around her slender figure. I snuck towels here, so I pulled them out and laid them on the soft sand. We laid there forever. "Toby," "yea" "tell me about yourself" "you pretty much already know everything" "what about your family?" Silence filled the air when she said the F word. "My family," "we'll there's Jenna my evil step sister, she tortured me for years she still does." My step mom , I never talk to, my dad and that's it." "What about your mom?" She asked. "My mom passed away, she committed suicide, she jumped from a window at a mental hospital." " I'm sorry I asked." "Don't apologize, my mom had something wrong with her it no ones fault but hers I guess." I sat up holding back tears. She sat up as well and looked into my eyes. "Toby, don't hold back the tears just let them go." I blinked a few times and tears poured down my face. She took her hands a cupped my face. I looked up to see a faint smile on her face. I pulled her in for a hug then when our faces got closer she kissed me. It was nothing like I'd ever felt before I didn't want it to end.

Spencer's POV:

Still kissing him he put his hands on my waist and pulled me in closer. With one hand on his face I placed the other on his chest. Feeling the soft beat of his heart. We both let go to catch our breath. We both stood up, and walked along the shore line. Next thing I know I get lifted up over Toby shoulder and he ran into the ocean and threw me in. I started coughing. Thank god I was in an old jersey and some rosewood high sweat pants, or I would have been so mad. "Toby!" "Haha!" He laughed. "I tredged out of the water to start chasing him across the beach. I finally lost my breath and collapsed on the sand.

All the sudden my phone went off. The screen blinked fast ( HASTINGS, VERONICA). "Mom?" I began. "Spencer where are you?" "Umm I'm at the beach with a friend." I replied shakily. "What friend?" She asked. "Umm, one moment?" "Sure sweetie." I cover the speaker with my hand, "Toby ?" "What," "my mom is wondering who I'm with." I shocked look ran over his face. "Tell her your with me." "But, Toby," "just do it." "Hi mom I'm back," "hi who are you with, I'm with Toby, Toby Cavanaugh." "Spencer why are you with that boy?" "Because I tutoring him and we decided to take a day off and come to the beach." "You know what he was.. "Yes I know but he didn't do it." "Hey mom I have to go we're going to dinner." "Ok sweetie bye.. She tried to continue on but I hung up on her. We both dried off and got back on his motorcycle. "I really don't want to go home." "Why not?" "Because my dad and my mom always fight and Melissa insults me and I can't take it!" "We'll I have to head up to my friend Caleb's house to help him refinish his garage." "You can come if you want?" "Ok" I said quickly.We pulled up towards my house. "I'll be right back." I quickly kissed him and ran inside. Why did she just kiss me, Toby thought.
