The beginning

Between two boys

Toby's POV:

Spencer was staring at someone so I turned around to see who she was staring at. Oh god not him.

"Spence we can leave if you want?"

"No, I want to enjoy our lunch together without any one else getting in the way."

All the sudden Andrew rose from the table and started walking towards us.

"Toby, kiss me now!" She whispered.

"What?"

"Just do it."

I lend forward and kissed her with my hand on her cheek. She kissed back like there was no tomorrow.

Andrew obviously saw the whole thing because he stared at us the whole time when walking passed us.

"Spencer why did you just want me to kiss you? Not that I don't like kissing you but why'd you ask me too?"

"Okay well, Andrew told me about a year ago that he loved me, but we never dated, or even kissed. The only connection was that we had things in common and we both were on the debate team."

"Okay so what's the big deal?"

"The big deal is that he's stalking me. And everyone always expects me to end up with him which is never going to happen."

"Spence stop worrying."

"Your right, this is what I should be focusing on."

"Oh we leave for the lake house tomorrow are you excited."

"Of course I am our anniversary is going to be held there."

Right after I said that I heard voice behind me.

"Hello Spencer."

Spencer's POV:

"Hello Spencer." Andrew said.

Oh no this can not be happening. I'm only a junior in high school your not really suppose to be in actual love then. On the other hand I'm in love with Toby but that's different. Your not suppose to just walk up to someone and saying I love you when you've never had any social interaction with the person.

"Hi Andrew."

"So how have you been."

"I've been fine."

"Do you have plans this afternoon?"

"Actually yes, and I will every afternoon."

"May I talk with you outside."

"Um sure."

He started to walk out.

"Toby I will be right back, I just have to get rid of this stalker."

He just nodded as I walked off.

Toby's POV:

Even though Spencer went to get rid of Andrew it still hurt to see her walk out with him. By hurt I mean someone just punched me in the chest. But I just shook it off because I trusted her to handle it. If something happens I will have to handle it.

Spencer's POV:

"What do you want Andrew?"

"I wanted to talk about maybe there could be an us someday."

"Um hell to the no!"

"Why not Spencer I love you!"

"Because I have a boyfriend who cares deeply for me and will protect me and and...."

"And what?"

"I LOVE HIM!"

"Oh please."

Toby's POV:

I started to hear yelling outside so I asked the waiter to hold our order while I ran outside for a minute.

Spencer's POV:

"I love him. I love him more than anything in the world."

I started to blush just thinking about how much I love him.

"So I guess they're will never be an us?"

"I'm sorry but no."

I heard foot steps behind me. So I turned around and saw Toby. He put his arm on my shoulder and asked if everything was okay.

"Yes I'm fine. Goodbye Andrew."

"Yea goodbye Andrew." Toby said mocking me as Andrew walked away.

Wow Toby sounded a little jealous it's actually kind of adorable.

"Okay after this we are going to go back to my house."

"Well of course I left my car there."

Only he didn't have any idea the exact reason they were going back there.

So Toby insisted on paying for lunch so I didn't argue because that fight wouldn't have ended well.

We drove back to my house and Toby's baby blue eyes lit up like Christmas lights when he saw what was in the driveway.
