Chapter 43 part 1-3

Demi POV

The next day I go out with Dallas and Marissa. Marissa got Dallas first and then me. I get into the back and we head to get lunch. "So why did you guys bring me out here?" I ask as we sit down. "We're trying to get your water to break." She says. "Why? I still have three weeks left." "Yeah well I don't care." Dallas says. We look at the menu. The waiter comes and they order. I'm about to order when Dallas stops me. "What's the spiciest thing you have?" She asks. "We have hot wings that are really good." "Are they spicy?" "You can get mild or spicy." "She'll get those but the spicy kind." He writes it down and walks away. "I don't like wings." "I don't care." She says. Marissa laughs. I just roll my eyes. By the time lunch is over my mouth is on fire. "Holy shit..." I say eating my last wing. "Was it good?" Dallas asks. "No... I have no feeling on my tongue." I say jokingly. They laugh. We pay and get into the car. "I don't get why you guys are trying so hard. It's not even my due date yet." "I wanna meet my niece." Dallas says. "And I wanna meet my god daughter." Colton and I decided that Marissa will be the god mother. "Well until that day comes, you guys wanna go to baby's R Us with me while were out?" I ask. "Sure." Marissa drives to there and I pick out some more clothes for her along with get the rest of stuff I need. Marissa and Dallas pick out the clothing while I get some extra diapers and bottles and stuff like that. Once were done they drop me off at home. "Call me if anything happens." Dallas says. "Nothing will but okay." I say back. They laugh. "Thanks for lunch... Even though it hurt." They laugh again and I get out. I wave bye until there gone. I go inside and see that Colton went home with Corey. I sigh at my quiet house with dogs laying in the crate sleeping. I take the bags that I bought into her nursery and start putting everything I just bought away.

Demi POV

After I put all the stuff away I relax. I've started to get Braxton hicks contractions for the last week and I know this spicy food is gonna give me some. I decide to rehearse for a little bit so I go to the white grand piano in my living room and play a couple songs off my album. Eventually I get tired and go to sleep. The next morning I wake up to Colton. "Baby..." He says shaking me. I open my eyes and look at him. "What time is it?" "Noon." I sit up and rub my eyes. "Classes done?" "Yeah. I was gonna get Corey but wanted to stop by first... You okay?" "Yeah. Dallas and Marissa took me out and made me eat spicy wings and they didn't agree with my stomach." I say scooting over so he can sit next to me. "Well I'll call Corey's day care and tell them I have to work." He says. I giggle. I lay in his arms and he puts his hands on my stomach tracing different stuff on top of my bump. "So why didn't you have a baby shower?" He asks. "I don't know. I was busy with X-Factor and then after that I just... Didn't do one." "Do you want one?" He asks. "I don't know. It's kind of late now." He nods.

Colton POV

I stay with her for a couple hours until I have to get Corey. I let the dogs out for her so she can rest. I get into the car and call Dallas. She still hates me but is trying to bare me for one reason... She's throwing Demi a baby shower. It is late in her pregnancy but better late than never right? We already have most things but extra diapers and clothes won't hurt.

Colton POV

The day of her baby shower comes. Dallas texts me telling me everything is set up and I just need to show up. Guys don't normally go to these things but I'm the one getting Demi there and I didn't wanna he the only dude there so I had Rob come too. Eddie isn't going. He says it's because baby showers aren't for guys but I think it's just because he doesn't want to see me. I tell Demi that were going out to lunch so I pick her up. We get to Dallas' house. "What are we doing here?" Demi asks. "I thought we were going to lunch?" She adds. "We are. Dallas is making lunch." "Since when do you guys like each other." "We don't but Rob's cool." She shakes her head and opens her door. I run around and help her out before we go inside. The house is empty. "Where is she?" "Kitchen maybe?" We walk in and still nothing. I lead her to the backyard. "Why would she be in the backyard?" She asks as I open the door. "Surprise!" We hear. She looks at everyone and then back at me before hitting my chest. "Dammit Colton." She says laughing and tearing up a bit. I laugh and give her a hug. "Surprise baby." I say kissing her head. Everyone hugs her. We do games, presents, and then we start to eat. I get a plate and sit outside with Rob. Most of the people here don't like me but I know Rob and I are cool. I'm eating with Dallas pokes my shoulder and whispers into my ear, "Demi's water broke."
