Chapter 54:

Arabella's POV:

Well it's Monday.

I'm in my hotel room just laying on the bed staring at the ceiling.

Waiting for my friends to come home from school.

Waiting for my birthday.

Waiting for Amy to get back from the store.

Waiting for Ty to wake up.

I called him but he sounded mad. He screamed, "ITS NOON-THIRTY, PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP HERE!"

So that basically sums everything up.

I can't fall asleep. It's not that I don't want to, it's just that the TV is on, and I can't find the remote.

So I just stare at the blank screen.

You don't realize how boring your life is until you actually have nothing else to do.

I found the remote, it's on the other bed.

But I'm sure as hell not getting all the way out of bed just to grab the remote that's 5 feet away.

Laziness. It's my specialty.

The only reason why I get up is to get something to eat.

At around 1 Amy gets home.

I decide to walk to the park, because why not.

Once I get there, I see police tape around the swings from when that truck drove into them.

It said something about that on the news... But I didn't really pay much attention to that so...

There is another set of two swings that I sit on. They're smaller, but at least they're shaded.

I answer questions on ask.fm for a bit.

"Are you A-Arabella Dawson?" A female voice asks.

I look up from my phone and see a girl probably around the age of 12.

"Yes," I smile, "I am."

"And... You're dating Sam Elica, right?"

I laugh. "Yes. I am."

"Oh... OMG I ship it 100%! Can I have a selfie?" She asks.

We take a selfie and she walks away.

I find the picture on Instagram and like it.

The caption says "OMG I met @therealarabelladawson today!! She was so nice and ahhhh!!!"

I realize that girl's Instagram is a fanpage for me.

I follow it, just to make her day.

I go on a following spree and realize it's 3:30. Wow. Time flies. Have I really been here that long?

Sam walks up. That's what made me realize the time.

"Hey!" He says.

I smile. "Where are Alexis and Chandler?"

"Chandler had homework, and Alexis is somewhere."

He sits on the swing beside me. "So ... What'd you do all day?" He asks.

"Exactly what you're expecting I did. I laid in bed all day too lazy to grab the remote."

"That sounds... Interesting...?"

"I walked here. That counts as exercise."

"Wow! You walked 2 blocks! Congratulations!" Sam says sarcastically.

"It's a lot to me."

Then Alexis walks up.

"Hey guys! I just finished my homework... Where's Ty? I mean, well... Just wondering... Because I'm wondering where he is?" She says nervously.

I laugh. "I'm not sure."

We all walk together on the sidewalk because there's nothing else to do. This little kid is having a party here, so the park is crawling with tiny people.

Then that kid who was stalking Alexis walks up... I think his name is Jeffrey... He's walking next to a girl with dirty blonde hair and glasses. She's pretty.

"Hi guys! And ... Hi Alexis! This is my girlfriend, Madison!" He grabs her hand.

The girl, Madison, jerks her hand away. "I'm not your girlfriend!!!"

"Hey, can't a kid dream?!" Jeffrey snorts.

Madison rolls her eyes.

Her eyes widen when she looks at Sam. She points to his mouth.

"Is that a black hole in your mouth?" She asks.

"Uh... What...?" Sam asks, looking confused.

Madison pries his lips open with her fingers. "Where are your teeth?" She asks.

Sam looks at me. "Uhh..."

By the time he looks back, Madison is running away.

Sam says, "Ok... I don't know what just happened... But that was the weirdest thing that has ever happened..."
