Has anyone seen Little Shop Of Horrors? Yeah, basically the 'It's just the Gas' thing happens. FYI

Also, yes the death is based on an actual death.

Jared took a deep breath.

He was gonna do it.

For him.

Do it for him.

Jared knocked on Connors door, and stood nonchalantly, hoping to seem casual while he had a gun in his back pocket.

"Oh, hey man. Ready to work on physics?"

"Uh, no. But I mean, we have to, so."

Connor gave him a smirk, opening the door wider. "My parents aren't home so like, we can blast music and stuff."

"Nice!" Jared noticed that Connor acted different when he was just with Jared. He seemed more calm and peaceful, but Jared could see right through him.

Connor chuckled. "Oh, dude, check this out." Connor started to walk towards his kitchen and Jared followed.

Jared slowly raised the gun, but hesitated. He couldn't do it. Not to a person he knew. He... couldn't.

Jared put his gun back, defeated.

"Look! Yeah, I know, maybe the best place to put a lava lamp isn't on top of a stove, but my parents don't want me to have it in my room."

"Why?" Jared asked.

"They think I'll try to kill myself with the liquid. But like, come on man. Just look how cool it is."

Connor went to tap it, and jumped back, hissing. "Jesus fuck. It's like, burning hot."

Jared saw it shake a bit, and he stepped back while Connor studied it closer.

"Well that's weird. It shouldn't-"

Connors words were cut off as the lava lamp exploded. Jared ducked under the counter, hiding as the glass shards shattered around him. They eventually stopped, and a faint hissing sound was heard.

"Connor?"

A faint moan was heard in response. Jared stood up, glancing over at the damage. Connor had a shard of glass sticking out of his chest, and he was breathing faintly. He glanced up at Jared weakly.

"Help." He said, meekly.

Jared just glared at him in response.

Connor looked confused until Jared pulled out the gun, pointing it threateningly at Connor. His eyes widened. "What'd I ever do to you?"

"Nothing. It's what you did to him."

"Him who?" Connor asked. The realization set it as he took his final breaths. "Oh. Him."

Jared watched as Connors breath hitched. Jared felt incredibly guilty, but he didn't have a choice. It was for Evan. He told himself.

Finally now Evan could be happy.
