Jeremy leaned his head back, letting out a loud sigh. He started to close his eyes, but a low buzz from the controller woke him up. He sat up quickly, and Michael gave him a worried look.

"Hey, are you okay, dude?" Michael asked, pausing the game as he moved closer to his boyfriend. "I mean, you're not. Whats wrong?"

"Oh, nothing. I'm, I'm fine Micha, let's just, let's just..." Jeremy trailed off, his eyes fluttering closed.

"Okay, that's it. Come on, let's go to bed."

Jeremy's eyes instantly widened. "No! No. No no, let's just play more."

"Yeah, right. Come on, sweetheart." Michael helped a reluctant Jeremy stand, and guided them towards Jeremy's bed. Michael sat Jeremy down, sitting down on the floor so he could look up at Jeremy. "Can you tell me what's wrong, baby?"

"Um, I've been, I've been trying to sleep all week but um, I can't?"

"Is... is it back?" Michael asked quietly.

"No! No, it's not that. I don't know, Micha. It's not important."

"Oh shut it, Jere-bear. Come on, we can just lay together. If you fall asleep, good. If you don't, then at least I'm by your side." Jeremy gave Michael a soft smiled, leaning down to place a kiss on his forehead. Michael stood up, taking off his pants as he climbed into bed with Jeremy.

Jeremy did the same, and took off his sweater. He got under the covers, taking a deep breath as he turned to face Michael. Michael held Jeremy's hands, and leaned their foreheads together. Jeremy closed his eyes, comforted by Michaels breathing.

Michael heard Jeremy's breathing steady, and he almost started laughing as he realized Jeremy had instantly fallen asleep.

He let go of Jeremy's hands with one hand, the other still holding tightly. Michael ran his hand through Jeremy's hair, and returned the soft smile Jeremy gave him.

Michael moved closer to Jeremy, and ran a hand down Jeremy's back. He stopped at Jeremy's hip, leaving his hand there as he felt himself starting to fall asleep.

He placed a gently kiss on Jeremy's forehead, and closed his eyes. "I'll always be here for you, Jeremy. I promise." He paused for a moment, taking in the silent room. "And I love you so much."

"I love you too." Jeremy mumbled, pulling Michael closer. "So much."
