To celebrate your engagement, Finn decided to take you to your favorite place in the world, Disneyland. It's been your happy place since you were a tiny girl, and every time you go there, all the nostalgia and happiness comes back.
Even though you aren't married yet, Finn bought you a pair of those Mickey Mouse ears with the bridal veil that you always dreamed of wearing. He got the groom ones, too.
Right now you had just gotten off the Indiana Jones ride and you're sharing a cup of dole whip with Finn.
"Isn't this like the best thing you've ever eaten?" You ask Finn with your mouth full.
He laughs as you wipe the melted juice off of your face. "Yes. It is very delicious. Good suggestion."
"So what should we do next? My app says that the line for space mountain went down. It's only a 30 minute wait."
"Well, actually I've got a surprise for you." Finn says, winking.
"A surprise? Like, here? For me?" You ask excitedly.
"Yeah. Come on, I'll show you."
Finn takes you by the hand and your curiosity grows stronger as you walk through the park.
Finn leads you to the castle and you stop in front of a red door that he knocks on.
"What are we doing?" You ask.
"You'll see."
A Disney worker, or, cast member, opens the door.
"Finn Wolfhard! Oh my goodness, we've been awaiting your arrival! Oh, and your beautiful fiancé too, of course." She shakes your hand.
"Nice to meet you." You say.
"And you too! Well, here is the key. It unlocks this red door here and of course, the other doors you'll need. Don't wanna ruin the surprise. I'm gonna head off now, have a great time you two, and congratulations!"
"Okay, y/n, would you like to see your surprise now?" Finn asks, leading you inside the dark hallway and shutting the red door behind you.
"Uh, yes! I'm beyond excited."
"Okay, well I'm gonna trust you to keep your eyes closed until I say open."
"Okay."
You close your eyes and Finn helps you up the stairs. It seemed like a lot of stairs, but it could just be that you had your eyes closed and it was much harder to walk.
You suddenly stop and you hear Finn unlock another door.
"Okay, y/n. Take a look."
You open your eyes and you want to cry. You see the exclusively private Cinderella's castle room where only special guests get to stay. You can't book it online and an opportunity to stay there is extremely rare.
"Oh my, oh my god! How did you get this? I can't even believe it oh my god, I love you."
You pull Finn in really close and you kiss him passionately.
"I got this room because I love you more than anything in this world. It took lots of time to be able to stay here but it was all worth it for you. Seeing your reaction and knowing how much you love it here is what matters to me."
Now you're really crying.
"You do know this is an actual dream come true for me,"
"I do. And a princess deserves to stay in a castle, don't you think?"
You smile and jump onto Finn, who leads you into the room. It's actually magical.
"Oh my god, I'm so excited I'm so excited I can't believe we get to stay here!"
"It's pretty awesome. We're gonna have a great trip. Well, any trip is a great trip with you, but this is very special."
"It really is. You literally couldn't do anything else to make me more happy, this is beyond anything I ever thought I'd get to experience."
"Well, what if I told you that for breakfast tomorrow we get to go to the exclusive castle dining room and get served a giant table filled with all your favorite foods?" Finn asked, raising his eyebrows at you.
"Shut up." You say.
"I'm being serious. I paid extra for it. Just for you, my princess." He walks up to you and moves your hair out of your face, kissing you with his arms wrapped around your waist.
"I love you. I know I say it a lot. But I do. I can't wait to marry you, princess." Finn says, breaking the kiss.
"Ditto to you. I love you."
