Today was one of those days. A day where no matter what, you couldn't stop crying. Every little thought just brought more tears to your eyes.

It all began after Finn left this morning for the studio, to record with his band for their upcoming album. It wasn't that Finn left, he does that often. It was just stuff you kept seeing on your phone.

Ever since Finn and his band played a show in New York a few days ago, lots of people were posting about the "onstage romance" between Finn and Ayla, who plays guitar for the band.

Now, you've had little jealousy spasms before, but this was different. It feels like the public completely forgot that you existed even though you gained six hundred thousand followers after Finn posted the first photo of you two together seven months ago.

You feel forgotten, which leads you to believe that maybe, potentially, Ayla and Finn are perfect for each other. I mean, they grew up together, they both love music, they play in a band together, come on. It's like a match made in heaven.

After thinking about that, you thought about the fact that the odds that you and Finn would actually get married are a little slim. The two of you are very young, and this relationship is a first for both of you. Neither one of you has dated anyone before, and it's unlikely that you'll end up with the first person you go out with.

You didn't really start feeling totally depressed until a couple hours ago, after you ate lunch, which you proceeded to throw up. You do that when you overthink.

You feel your phone buzz. It's Finn.

3:15 pm
Finnie 💓- Hey beautiful. Want to catch the metro and meet us at that new coffee place we like? We can come home after.

You sigh. Your face is all red and puffy and not even makeup would fix it. Plus, you feel like death, so coffee and socializing does not exactly sound ideal right now.

3:16 pm
You: Not having a very good day. I think I'm gonna sit this one out. Have a good time, don't rush.

You go back to watching TV and then your phone buzzes again.

3:18 pm
Finnie 💓-  I'm coming home baby. Coffee can wait. You're my priority ❤️

Who would've thought that such a sweet message could make you cry even more. The last thing you want is for your boyfriend to have to constantly cater to you and plan his life around your needs.

It took about twenty minutes before Finn came through the door.

"Oh my god, y/n, what's going on, babe? Please tell me. Are you alright?" He sits next you you, immediately wrapping you in his arms.

You take a deep breath and let it go before saying, "You should've went to coffee."

Finn looks confused. "What?"

"You shouldn't have to cater to me. I feel worse now that you're here because you were supposed to be out having a good time but now you're stuck with me."

"Y/n, stop being ridiculous. I want you to tell me why your day was bad. I'm worried."

"I just- I don't know. I was overthinking and I thought about how people think you and Ayla are perfect for each other and how we might not end up together in the future and how I'm so fucking needy and you deserve better." You day through tears.

"Baby, stop. I love you. No one else, you. I know you know that. But the other thing is that you can't stress about the future. We have no idea what's gonna happen then. We have to enjoy what we've got right now. And sadly, I can't tell you that we'll for sure be together in the future because I'm not in control of that. I can tell you what I'd like for the future though. I'd like a nice home in the outskirts of town with you and maybe a child or two. I'd like a world where it's just us and the world. Wouldn't you like that?" Finn asks, holding you tight.

"I would."

"Okay. Lets plan for that, and not worry about what else could happen. Now, what do you say we order a pizza and snuggle and play some board games tonight?"

"I'd say that sounds great. I love you. So so so much." You say, attacking his face with kisses.

Finn blushes. "I love you more."
