Little friend

Harrison was watching James eat his sandwich and noticed his neck was all red, it spread to his cheek even his eyes were a tiny bit red, he leaned closer to Carrie and whispered " why is his neck all red like that "

Carrie looked at Harrison and then back at James, she noticed the rash and gave Harrison a questionable look " James sweetie come here " she said watching James jump of his chair and walk towards her , she looked at his chest, neck and cheek closely and touched it lightly, it was a little warm.

" where did you go honey " she asked putting James on her lap

" i go ouside wit James and we play wit rock " he said smiling at both his parents

" and why are you scratching your neck " she asked

" is rock when i hug him i scratchy after " he said grabbing a piece of apple and eating it

" he hugs a rock " Harrison whispered to Carrie

" why would he scratch himself after " she asked as Harrison shrugged

She watched James eat his piece of apple and looked down at his hands they were all red even more then his neck. She sigh and wondered what her two boys have been up to again. After last week where they had ruined Harrison car by painting it in white and yesterday they drove her to the breaking point at the grocery store. But today she had yet to figure out what they had done.

" honey where is henry " she asked as his big blue eyes looked at her

" ouside wit rock " he answered sliding of her lap

" can you go get him " she asked James who happily ran to the backyard.

" well maybe he wouldn't have these rashes if you put some cloths on him " Carrie said getting up to clean the plates

" he only likes his boxer and hates clothes, what can i do about that, or he throws a tantrum at me in the morning "  he said helping her wash

" If its something bad it's your fault " she said slapping his shoulder

" ouch, hey not fair " he said wrapping his arms around her trapping her arms

" you're gonna break me " she laughed as he kissed her cheek.
She was still in his arms as they watched both thru the window James and henry run towards the house.

" i wonder what he'll tell us " Harrison said resting his chin on her shoulder

Both boys were in the kitchen now  " James say you are mad at me " henry said stepping towards his mother

" I'm not mad, i just wanna ask you something " she said as he nodded " who is rock " she asked

" i found rock behind a rock and called him rock, he's very nice " he sad getting both parents to look at him in confusion

" honey what is rock " Harrison asked picking henry up

" he's a kitty i found yesterday in the yard and he is cute, want me to show you daddy " he asked with a big smile

" yes id love to see him but tell me this kitty, has James been touching it "

" yes cause rock likes cuddles "

Harrison put Henry back down and looked at Carrie " allergic " they both said together and looked back at James

" henry sweetie, can we tell you something " Carrie asked as she watched him nod " James can't go near rock anymore "

" why can't he "

" because its not good for him , the cat is making him all red and scratchy "

" is it my fault, did i hurt James " Henry asked pouting

" no sweetie it's the kitty he can't go near it "

" i didn't know, Im sorry " he said crying now

" you don't have to cry you didn't do anything wrong " Carrie answered hugging henry to comfort him

" sorry James " he said turning around and went to hug his brother, James started sneezing again and they all laughed.
He was unstoppable and laughed every time he sneezed.

After having shown his parents the kitten Henry begged for them to keep it but couldn't because of James , If Henry wanted to keep it it would have to stay outside.

Now that they knew what there son's were up to they could relax for the rest of the day, Harrison had made like a little house for Henry's kitten even if it would have to stay outside.

" what if we put a door for him " henry asked his father as they painted the little wooden house in red.

" a cat is not like us honey they don't need doors "

" but what if he's cold "

" we'll put a blanket for him like this he's all cosy and warm " he said watching Henry think, he put his little hand in front of his mouth and looked at what his father was doing.

" did i hurt James because of rock " Henry asked

" no, like mommy said you didn't do anything, don't worry ok honey " Harrison answered ruffling his son's hair

James was still sneezing as he tried to fall asleep, Carrie watched him and giggled every time he looked at her and got angry for sneezing.

" is no fun " james said as Carrie took him in her arms

" I'm sorry baby " she answered kissing his forehead, she rocked him gently and stroked his hair as his eyes fell shut.

After tucking him back to bed she went to Henry's room, he was still playing on the floor with his little trucks. " did you feed your new little friend " Carrie asked sitting on the floor next to her son

" yes and he say thank you "

" that's good but you have to sleep now it's late " she said as he got up and jumped on his bed " goodnight baby, love you " she said kissing his forehead

" love you too mommy " He answered closing his eyes and flipping around, she kissed him again and made her way out of the bedroom bumping into Harrison as he got out of the bathroom.

" how's he doing " he asked

" James is fine tough little man, but it's starting to bother him, he can't play with that cat anymore "

" Im sure he'll forget about it sooner or later "

Carrie sigh and dropped on the bed loving the feeling of the cold blanket against her Harrison did the same and sigh.

" bar will be open soon, are you ready for it " she asked sitting and doing her hair

" yeah, ill just have to get those menu's at the printers and then the fun begins "

" it'll be nice, and it'll do you some good to work "

" you right " he mumbled closing his eyes

Carrie smiled watching him fall asleep and kissed him softly " goodnight harry "

" hmm goodnight " he mumbled again getting carried to laugh.

She didn't wanna make him nervous but she was a little scared his bar wouldn't work and that no one would come, she prayed to god people would be there on the first day and not only friends and family, in Exactly 2 weeks they were gonna start, she was very happy but also nervous.

She sigh snuggling closer to him and closed her eyes.

Its windy raining and I'm bored af at home ,so I'm writing, even though it's not the greatest hope y'all liked this little chapter 😊
