Winter

" mommy i to warm " Henry cried out trying to take his coat off the little boy had so much cloths on he couldn't take it anymore, he could barely move his arms and wanted desperately to take his hat of.

" honey its cold outside and i don't want you to be sick, now if you wanna go play in the snow you keep that coat on or you're not going outside "  Carrie said putting James coat on

" but mommy i can no move " he said in frustration.

" you listen to your mother Henry " Harrison said lifting his son in his arms as Henry frowned " and anyways we have to go buy some food cause everyone is coming for Christmas " he said looking back at Carrie who nodded

" but..but mommy tell me i can play outside " Henry said with a pout

" yeah sure you can after we're back "

" and we go see santa  " Henry asked with a bright smile

" yes we will if he's back from the north pole " carrie said walking past them with James in her arms

Harrison was walking with James in his arms and holding Henry's hand as they passed by some stores, Carrie had left them for a moment to go buy there presents. Henry stopped in front of a toy store and watched a little puppet play the drum, Harrison looked down at his little boy and smiled. " is pretty " Henry said looking at his father.

" ehh daddy want " James said pointing at a car

" you like that one don't you " Harrison said looking at James who was nodding " want " he said whispering his voice muffled in his scarf.

" well we better go inside before we freeze and mom told me she will meet us at the café right there at the corner " he said looking across the street.

Entering the warm cafe he put James down and walked to a table in a corner, it felt good on there faces to warm up, both James and Henry had red cheeks from the cold.

" hello everyone how are we doing today " the woman server asked them and smiled at Henry who was trying to get his gloves off.

" good thank you, cold but good " Harrison said trying to help James with his jacket

" so sweetheart what are you gonna drink " she asked Henry who was looking at his father, Harrison nodded and told he could have whatever he wanted

" i go drink a choco " he said a little shy

" would you like some whipped cream and marshmallows on that honey "

" yes please " he said smiling at his father

" what is the small one gonna have and you sir " she asked looking at Harrison

" the small one is gonna have the same as the big one and you know what me too " Harrison added

" coming right up " she said leaving there table.

James was looking at the people behind him well he was looking at there dog and kept wanting to pet it " daddy " he said getting up on his chair trying to get his father's attention.

" whats wrong sweetie " he said but James  attention moved to something else when he saw his mother walk in. " mommy " both boys almost screamed as she made her way to there table and went to sit next to henry.

" mommy i take choco with marshalows "  Henry said wrapping his arms around her waist

" you did " she said surprised and took him on her lap
" daddy too " he said as the server came

" there we go hot chocolat fit for 3 cuties " she said stopping to look at carrie " im sorry mam " she said almost ashamed

" Its totally fine " carrie responded with a smile shacking her head.

Walking thru the Christmas market carrie and Harrison were looking at things they could buy for there parents as a nice present. Carrie was looking at some wooden sculptures when she felt Henry pull at her arm " what is it honey " she asked looking at him .

" its him, look " he said jumping and pointing at a man in red suit and a long white beard.

" you wanna go say hello to Santa " she asked seeing him nodd

Harrison followed them and asked James if he wanted to go to but the little boy looked frightened by Santa and started crying ones they put him on his lap, Harrison was trying to calm him down by gently rocking him so he could fall asleep, He gave in after 5 minutes and was now snoring in his father's arms.

" daddy i ask santa for all the present i can " Henry said running back to his father.

" that's great Henry, what did you ask for" Harrison said with a smile

" i no tell you is secret of me and santa "

" he asleep " carrie asked standing next to Harrison and tried looking at her little boy's face

" should we go home "

" no we can keep going we still need presents for your mother and father and i feel like i should get Richard something "

" but I thought he was weird "

" he is but last time i went to my mothers she was happy and smiling, maybe he's changed "
