  Caroline got me roped in to help with the float for the parade.
I sat at a table painting with Tyler and Matt.
"Hey ty you gotta little" I said indicating to his face
"Where"? He said wiping the imaginary spot
"Here let me get it" I said and he leaned to me
"Its riiight there!" I said and painted a line across his cheek
Matt and I laughed as he glared at me

When we finished I flashed back to the boarding house
I walked in to see Daddy pacing back and forth
He flashed up to me and shoved the mysterious device in my hands
"Sale I want you to hide this from everyone including myself" He said,and I nodded "Sure" I said and flashed to my room and grabbed my hollowed out book putting the device in it.
I put the book on the shelf

The next day came

The boys were doing the float while I supervised, sitting next to Caroline up top. We were laughing and joking around when we herd Matt yell. The trailer fell on his arm, Tyler and the football players plus Uncle Stefan moved up so he could get out. Tyler took him to the hospital, while I noticed Uncle Stefan and everyone else disappeared. I shrugged it off and walked off flashing home I heard talking so I hid.

"Were doing this my way so give me the device Damon" Elena's voice sounded. "I don't trust you I tried to kill you" Daddy's voice said
"Your right you can't trust me" Bonnie's voice sounded
"But you can trust me" Elena Said
"I would give it too you but I kind of can't"
"What do you mean?" Elena asked
"I kinda don't have it" Daddy said
"What! who does" Uncle Stefan said loudly

"Someone who I can always trust" Daddy said, and It was silent until Uncle Stefan said "Salem"
My eyes widened and I flashed off. Before I could leave the house Uncle Stephan flashed in front of me. He grabbed me as I squirmed and he tossed me on the couch, "Alright Sale give it up" He said. "Give what up Uncle Stefan?" I asked looking Innocently, but I felt a small pressure in my head. I grabbed my head and gasped in fake pain. "Don't hurt her Bonnie!" Elena called, and
The pressure lifted. "You have to find it" I spat walking out slamming my shoulder on Bonnie's
Ignoring the calls of my name and Flashed up to my room and laying down in my bed.

After about an hour Daddy came in and sat next to me, " I don't wanna give it up either Salem as much as you we could use it as an advantage" He said. I groaned sighing, and I got up and we went downstairs. Going up to Bonnie I spoke "To Kill a Mockingbird"
After a little bit the book came to me and I caught it opening it and taking the device out
I handed it to Elena. "Thank you Salem" She said but I ignored her and walked to Daddy who put an arm around me.

We watched Bonnie as she reversed the spell on the device, "Done" she said and I rolled my eyes. "Great" I said sarcastically dragging out the vowels, 'Now what?" Daddy asked
"We give it to isobel" Elena said, They all left while I stayed behind. I punched the wall making a giant hole  "God Fucking Damn It!" I yelled, and  I Flashed to the living room grabbing a bottle of bourbon. I took multiple long drinks before smashing it against the wall. I went up to my room and laid down blacking out.
