Alicia's POV:

i am vaguely aware of someone bending over me somewhere beyond the darkness. My head aches and im aware of a fiery pain in my right arm and leg. i hear the same words being spoken "Alicia can you hear me ?" in a soft and gentle voice i recognise. i need to open my eyes but my eyelids feel like led and are extremely heavy.

Ethan's POV:

I keep talking to Alicia the whole time even though she shows no signs of having heard and is still unresponsive. i stroke her lovely long blonde hair. my brother Cal the one who tried to take Alicia away in the first place comes racing through into resus demanding to know what has happened to Alicia and i shout at him to get out telling him that Alicia has open fractures to her skull and a bleed on the brain and a broken back from the helicopter crash . "e-th-an e-than" i hear low soft moans coming from somewhere ,i turn around expecting to see someone like lily then i realize it's coming from Alicia. i shout for lily to come through to resus and no answer comes back so i pull on medical gloves and gently extubate Alicia which i swap for an oxygen mask and then remove her saline drip and iv drip dripping sedative into her bloodstream. With a damp sponge i gently sponge her forehead until i look down and see the gorgeous blue eyes of my girlfriend looking up at me a look of worry and concern on her face
