Starfire's POV
(Translated from the language of Tamaran) Beaten, tortured, humiliated. Those are some of the words to describe my experience on this foul spaceship. I am suppose to be princess, air to the throne. Not a slave being whipped, harrassed and experimented on. I am Princess Koriand'r damn you! This is not the life I deserve! My race are warriors, we will not be chained down. I will not be chained down by these retched space pirates. Mark my words, when this is over I will kill you all!
This horrible situation began when my home world Tamaran was invaded by alien forces. Somehow, they were able to pass our powerful defenses. Those defenses have not be penetrated for over one thousand years, and now all of a sudden a random breed of pirates are able to get through? Highly unlikely. I believe someone of our race who is able to get our schematics of our defenses gave them to our enemies. That traitor will feel the most harsh punishment from me once I get free. And I will get free. This I declare.
I have a plan. I have been on this ship for about 13 months, and I have seen a pattern I can take advantage on. Once a prisoner becomes deceased, they whip him or her to make sure if they are actually dead, take the chains off, and throw him off into space. If I can act dead, not wince during the whipping, I can get these power restraining chains off and take this ship over. The guard came into my cell and hit me with the whip once and said "Up slave!" I didn't move. He kept hitting me with that lethal whip, every strike forming lash marks on my once flawless skin, but I still didn't move. He then called in a squad so they could take me out of the ship. He then unlocked my chains and took them off, and I opened my eyes and broke his neck. I then used my emotion driven powers and blasted a green ray towards the cell, breaking it. I then used my powers and flew off and killed anyone in sight. I went to the captains area where they are flying the ship, and killed both the pilots by shooting a beam straight through their chest. However, since the pilots are dead, the ship went out of control and started rapidly going towards another planet. I believe it is called, Earth.
