'My name is Brian O'Connor. I come from a very small family. A family of four: My parents, my little sister Jaelene, and me. But I think of it as just me and my sister. When I was five, Jae was born. I instantly knew that she was gonna be my partner in crime and my best friend. We were good kids, and that all changed after we got into racing. But that is partially the beginning...'

Nobody's POV

21 year old Brian O'Connor just finished his first day of training for the position of an F.B.I. agent. After some gruesome exercises with other agents, Brian headed to his favorite Chinese take out joint to get some food for him and his kid sister.

He could care less about his parents. His mother fully gave up on him and Jaelene about a year ago and his father was just never there for either of them.

Jaelene is 16 years old and still in high school. This is usually the time frame when a kid needs their parents the most—as the child starts to figure out who they are. But she wasn't so lucky in that department. Brian always stepped up to be his sisters authoritative figure, no matter the cost; she was just that important to him. And she was his one and only weakness.

It was around seven thirty at night when Brian finally pulls up along curb of the two story brick house he's lived in all his life. Taking the keys out the ignition, he couldn't help but peer over to the old chipped brick exterior. I can't wait to leave this place.

Shaking his head, Brian snapped out of his haze and moved around his car and up the few steps to the dark red front door. Once inside, he pressed the remote on his keys to lock his car before kicking the red door shut, heading into the small kitchen just to the side of the dining room.

"Jae? I'm home!" Brian yells, setting the bag of food on the counter and starts to set the table. Light footsteps soon make their way into the dining room just as Brian takes his seat. He had yet to notice the small smile on his sisters face as she placed her math textbook on the table and joined him.

After placing a plate in front of Jae, Brian had to do a double take because he wasn't used to seeing her happy on a regular basis. "What's got you in such a good mood? How was school?"

Jae's smile grows a bit more and shrugs nonchalantly as she swallows the mush that was once pork lo mein, "Oh, you know...I got a B on my science test."

Brian snaps his head up to meet his little sister's proud gaze as she pulls the test from her book and shoves it happily towards her brother. Sure enough, the letter B was circled at the top of the front page in red ink. Brian flashes his pearly whites, raises his hand up and gives Jaelene a high five before wrapping his arm around her shoulder to pull her in for a quick side hug, "Alright! That's muh girl!"

Jaelene giggles softly as they pull away, "How was work?" She begins to eat her fried rice once Brian explains the events of today. "Fun—mostly tiring. They had me train with other agents. And it was mostly combative today. Just glad the tasing and macing are done and over with."

Jae chuckles at the thought of her brother spazzing out because of pepper spray as she gets up and heads over to the fridge. "Well, this training will be over before you know it and you'll be the best FBI agent in the LA force." She states with confidence, popping open a can of Pepsi for herself and another for Brian.

He smirks after taking a sip of his soda, "Thanks for the support sis." Jaelene mimics her brothers facial expression and shrugs, "Always."

Brian then clears his throat and slowly drops his smile. He didn't want to kill Jaelene's spirit or that smile he hadn't seen in what felt like forever, but there were more pressing issues at hand. "Where is he?"
