1 what inspired the idea of your story?

I've always been into Mafia romances. And of course not real ones. Those ones where a certain woman can make even a non existent heart melt. I didn't want mine to be as serious as most though.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

Writer's block. I knew where I wanted the characters to end up in the end, I just had a hard time figuring out how to get there.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

Leo's parts. I think Leo is definitely my favorite character. He gives me a reason to add jokes and make the book really goofy and light.

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

There's a few positive comments here and there, but because it isn't completed yet, and because it's still a new book, a lot of people haven't discovered the book yet.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

I'm still deciding that. I'll most likely leave it as a stand alone, but I've been thinking about writing a separate book about Geo, so we'll see ;-).

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

To write for fun. To literally just write for fun. The reason I haven't been able to willingly push myself to complete so many of my other books in my drafts if because I never fell in love with my characters enough to write. But the characters in this book are my babies, and I'm finishing the book, not for the reads, but for me and because I find it fun. So yeah, write, not because you have to, but because you genuinely want to. Write for you.

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

Fall in love with your characters. Develop your characters. If you know your characters like the back of your hand, and you try to build an imaginary bond with them, it'll push you to want to write more about them. You'll want to write about their struggles. You'll want to see them succeed. Fall in love with your creations, and keep writing until you find the right one. I have at least 20 other drafted stories, but this is the one I fell in love with.

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

CJ is quite stubborn and cheeky, but she also really loves kisses, and cuddles, and being babied, and I do find myself being like that in my relationship, lol.

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

It's an enemies to lovers book. Who doesn't like forbidden love, mixed with stolen kisses, feuding families, a sexy Mafia heir, a gorgeous French lady and sexual tension?

10 do you have any future projects?

None that I've planned to write, as of yet. I'm working on finishing this book first. But I definitely have some ideas in my pocket :).
