1 what inspired the idea of your story?

I was inspired by an influencer on Instagram. Believe it or not, I had a minor crush on him and I decided to write a story and have the main character look like him , but that was before I changed my idea. A lot of my work is influenced by modern historical fiction and Bridgerton.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

Flow, I find it very hard to merge tropes and ideas together to make them readable and enjoyable but thankfully it's getting easier to brainstorm with pre-written dialogue and a chapter outline.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

Reading the end result. Writing a chapter is a huge accomplishment to me because I myself am a reader and reading my work makes me ask myself the question: what happens next?

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

My readers seem to enjoy it, I have not received any awards or won any competitions (yet!) but I believe that with time my book will reach the readers it was meant for.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

We will have to find out together! I think it will end up being a duology but for now, All her Sacrifices is a standalone (ongoing) novel.

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

That everyone goes through something in their life and no one is perfect, I will be introducing a few characters and backstories to show that you don't know everything about someone even if you love them.

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

Dont give up on your story, no matter how many reads it gets, how many votes you receive or how many people comment. Your accomplishments mean more than all of that.

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

Tara, my main character, has experiences that I relate to and went through myself, but I never intentionally made her like me personality-wise. Some of her features are like mine like her coloring and hair type but the rest of it was made up of real people and tv show characters.

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

I haven't introduced the main plot yet because I wanted to have some world and charter building first. I am writing this as a true novel, and what I mean by that is its not just action from the start, and its something you don't see very often on this platform so I hope to bring something new to the table which will let the audience truly understand my book.

10 do you have any future projects?

I'm also working on a short story and a story based on real-life events. The short story will be out soon, I'm so excited for everyone to read it. It is something that I have been working on since 6th grade but here I am now completing it nearly 6 years later.
