1 what inspired the idea of your story?

Late-night thoughts and early morning contemplations together play a big role in constructing the concept of the story. I am usually motivated and inspired at such times of the day.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

As wisely said, one should have the courage to begin. You will find me struggling with the beginning part no matter if it's a new chapter in the same book. But once I have commenced, it's rare for me to stop midway. Ideas keep flowing like water and imagination expands its creativity with each passing minute.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

The blurb has to be the one I enjoyed thoroughly. The excitement was at its peak and I am immensely proud of it. Other than that, the journey of Jiffy so far has been incredibly fun to pen down.

4 what's the overall response of your story from your readers?

If I had to rate the response, it would be a seven out of ten. This is because the views currently are seven times higher than the votes. I am grateful to the readers who have been hanging around since the beginning and that boosted my confidence tremendously. There are a few significant readers who express their enthusiasm but that's one side of the coin. I see the views increasing and by this, all I can say is that most of them out there are silent readers. Nonetheless, I am equally grateful to all of them for dropping by even though the quantity of the story currently, isn't much high.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

*shrugs* It's my first story and I am just seeing where I am headed to. For now, I can't really tell.

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

So far, the message to the audience has been that they stay strong no matter the situation or hardships they are going through. We are all battling against the pandemic and having an optimistic outlook would be a major help in such a crisis.

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

An advice from an amateur with not much experience wouldn't really be helpful but there's one thing I definitely want to state here. *Don't give up on your story.* Rome wasn't built in a day and it will take time for your story to yield results among the audience. Just because not many people are reading your story, it doesn't imply that your story isn't fit to be labeled as a story. So, just keep going, laughing, crying, learning and exploring with your characters along the way. At least that's what I do. =)

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

*smiles* A big fat yes. For me, reading, writing, listening to music, etc are a break or an escape from reality and I love to imagine myself in different circumstances. But that's that. Although the personality of Jiffy isn't entirely mine, we do have a handful of things in common.

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

A strong female protagonist battling her inner as well as outer demons to reach the truth and escape the traps of the culprit simultaneously is what I believe would flicker the reader's interest.

10 do you have any future projects?

Tons of them. I think this is common in writers when you have millions of ideas for new stories but you ought to complete your current work first. Anyway, I do have a project or two in mind but that will have to wait as currently, I have my own battles to survive. Wish me luck! =)
