I looked around, the hallway was filled with smoke
"Dad?!" I yelled back
"Electra?!"
Fred??
More flashes of lights
Someone grabbed me
They held on so tightly that their nails dug into my skin causing me to bleed
"Let me go!!" I yelled
But whoever it was didn't
I was being dragged out of the hallway
More screaming
"Help!!" I heard a child's voice scream
Loud bangs could be heard in the distance and in front of me
I started screaming
I jumped out of my bed, holding my heart and panting
My sheets were soaked with sweat and my throat was sore
I looked around my room and no one was in it, Hermione I'm sure is at the hospital
Lavender probably grabbed Parvati and went somewhere else to sleep for the night
A nightmare
Just a nightmare
"Electra??"
"It was a nightmare" I said to Fred as a greeting
"You scared me...I felt your fear coming from the bracelet and when I'm so far away it's hard to tell if it's real-life or not...you had your shield up all the way so I couldn't get in"
"I'm sorry"
"What happened in your dream?"
I looked at the clock and it was 4 am
"Did I wake you?"
"No, we've been up. Lee and George are still in the living room drinking, I felt your fears coming through so I excused myself to my room and tried getting into your mind but it was hard...eventually you let me in though. Now back to your dream what happened?"
"I don't know...it was filled with spells and faces that were darkened. I heard a lot of screaming and loud bangs, someone had a hold of me and was carrying me somewhere. That's all I remember"
"I know you're brave and I know you're strong but please stay with your friends and Ron...please for me? I don't know what your dream means, but I won't lie to you it has me terrified. War is inevitable"
"Whatever happens we will fight together"
"Or maybe I can hide you somewhere"
"If you're fighting I am too"
He sighed
"You are still running with Ginny right? You aren't alone?"
"I'm rarely alone"
"Rarely means you still are at times"
"I know you're worried but trust me"
"I do...I just wish I didn't have to trust others to keep you safe that's my job"
"Alright were against Slytherin today, get ready for a brutal game" I said to my team who was huddled together
The weather was cloudy but so far no rain
The wind was blowing against us this time
"Odds aren't good for weather captain" Katie said looking at the clouds
"We've been through worse" I said "let's fucking win this yeah??"
And we didn't
We lost by a an embarrassing amount of points
Slytherin had a replacement for Draco like we had for Ron, but because Harry was so occupied with where Draco was he didn't see a bludger that came straight for his head
He cracked his skull and was sent straight to the hospital wing
Ginny tried her best at seeker, but with the wind against us we had no chance
I was in the hospital wing waiting for Harry to wake up
Ron was sipping on tea that I brought for him and Harry
Hermione was in the corner doing homework as usual
"What happened?" Harry asked finally awake
"You" I glared at him
"Me??" He said back
"Heard you lost by a landslide" Ron added
"We lost bad" I said glaring at Harry
"I'm sorry Electra"
"If we're on the field you need to be there body and mind" I said getting up from my seat and walking to his bed
"But Draco—"
"But nothing!" I said "he wasn't there and you still got distracted. Poor Ginny tried her hardest but we needed you today and you let me down"
"Some things are more important than Quidditch" Harry said annoyed
Hermione and Ron went from watching us to then looking anywhere but in our direction
"Maybe to you" I crossed my arms "my CAREER is quidditch. You know how I've helped you with homework so you can pass your test and get into classes that you need to be an auror??"
Harry was silent
"Yeah I did that so you could get into the career field you wanted!" I threw my arms up in the air "the LEAST you can do is care about my career too. You lost it within the first MINUTE you've never done that Harry"
"You're on a team why does it matter now??" He demanded
"Are you dense?? At any point they could kick me out, and do you really think any other team would want me if I got kicked from the one I chose over them?!"
"I didn't think about it that way I'm sorry Electra"
I let myself cool down
"I thought I had to worry about Cormac fucking the game up...compared to you he was the least of my worries" I sat down on his bed and held his hand
He squeezed my hand back
"I'll be better next time"
"Good because I will kick you from the team if you do that to me again" I said smiling
"Now that you're not mad at me...hey Dobby"
A crack sounded in the hospital wing and Dobby appeared
"Mr.Potter hello! Miss.Black congratulations I heard the news from Kreacher yes that Weasley boy has always been nice to Dobby"
I smiled and hugged the elf
"Thank you"
He blushed
"Dobby can you and Kreacher do me a favor?"
Kreacher appeared next to Dobby
"Miss.Black Mr.Potter" he bowed to both of us
I glared at Harry
He ignored it
"Can you two spy on Draco Malfoy for me? You are not allowed to tell him or anyone else that you are doing so and you aren't allowed to let him see you" Harry said
"Dobby will do that sir!" Dobby grabbed Kreacher's arm and they both apparated out of the hospital
I rolled my eyes
"Harry..."
"Humor me Electra"
