Tristan's POV:
Our wedding is four days away and Bryan and Scott are almost here. Rory is cleaning the house like it's really dirty.
I grab ahold of her as she runs by me, "baby calm down the house is fine."
"These are your friends and it is the first time that I am meeting them. I am so glad they were able to get their tuxes and we were able to get Samantha's bridesmaid dress with their measurements."
I wrap my arm around her waist and hold her as tightly and comfortably as I can. "Baby they are going to love you just like I do. You my dear are an amazing woman and the love of my life and in less than ninety-six hours you will become my wife. The stress and running around isn't good for our baby."
I gently rub her belly where her tiny baby bump is. "Our little bean says mommy needs to relax and sit down. Oh, and give daddy some kisses."
Rory smiles, "Okay baby bean I will relax as well as give daddy some kisses." She turns around and kisses him with so much passion.
Tristan starts to lead her to the bedroom and just then the doorbell rings. Rory busts out laughing and Tristan shakes his head.
"Damn it now I have to figure out how to calm him down. We will finish this later I promise you that." He whispers huskily in her ear.
He walks over to the door and shakes his legs. He opens the door and smiles at his friends.
Bryan, Samantha, and Scott so great to see you. He hugs Samantha and shakes the guy's hands.
"You look a little flustered there brother. Did we interrupt something?" Scott said as he was laughing.
"That's why it took you so long to answer the door. Huh?" Bryan said
"Maybe or maybe our kisses are just so hot I look like this every time we kiss. By the way, this is my fiancée my Mary. You can call her Rory. Baby this is Scott, Bryan, and Bryan's wife Samantha."
"You definitely didn't lie about her looks. She is beautiful. The blue eyes are exactly as you described in military school. Rory dear we have heard a lot about you. This guy wouldn't shut up about his Mary from Chilton." Scott said as he walked over and kissed her hand and gave her a hug.
"Yep, we thought he was lying about you. Surely there was no one that could be as kind, smart, and beautiful as he described. We really thought he made you up. Was he really the jerk he said and so egotistical?"Bryan asked.
"I do exist and yes he really was a jerk. He would make out with other girls in front of my locker and would do anything and everything to get my attention. The one thing he didn't do was be truthful about his feelings toward me. I always thought I was just another conquest of his."
"I can definitely say that the way he spoke about you he really did love you. I can even see it when we see how he looks at you. I have never seen Tristan look at a female that way at all, ever. I mean he had his one-night stands but he barely made eye contact with them." Bryan said sincerely as he spoke to Rory.
"I agree this man is in love. I was so afraid he would never find love and be happy. I am so glad you reconnected. So how did you find her?"
"Actually, I was stressed and decided to go for a run. She was walking and not paying attention to where she was going. I almost ran right into her but swerved and missed her. So me being me. Told her she needed to watch where she was going because I almost ran into her. She looked up and those beautiful blue eyes stop me dead in my tracks. It was my Mary."
"The rest is pretty much history. I was in a bad spot in life and Tristan talked to me and offered for me to become his roommate and a few days later we became a couple. He proposed while we were in Belgium and now here we are." Rory said as she smiled at Tristan.
"Alright, guys let's get some dinner going. I am grilling steaks the remainder of the party should be here shortly. Here are the guest rooms you all get settled and we will be in the kitchen." He showed them to the guestrooms and wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked off.
Bryan, Samantha, and Scott unpacked and freshened up. While Tristan and Rory were in the kitchen preparing dinner. Then the doorbell rang and Rory walked to open it up. There stood, Robert, Colin, and Finn.
They all hugged Rory and said their hellos and made their way into the kitchen. Rory started to follow but then the doorbell rang again. This time it was Paris, Lane, Sookie, Lorelai, and Luke.
"Loin fruit. How is going?"
"It's going good mom we are preparing dinner. You know Paris and Lane. Mom this is Robert, Colin, and Finn."
"Logan's friends right?"
"Well, yes love but not as much anymore. We are not happy with how he has treated love here. We are very protective. I met you once at the jail when we bailed Logan out." Finn stated.
"Oh, I do remember you, you are the exotic one. I have to agree he needs to leave her alone and let her be happy."
"We all agree we are very protective of mother here. We made sure he was escorted out at The Plaza." Colin said.
"Mother?"
"Yes, she took care of us in college which wasn't an easy task making sure we made it home safely. Since then we have called her mother." Robert said.
Bryan, Samantha, and Scott made their way to where the others were talking. Introductions were made.
Everyone went up to the rooftop area. They were all sitting around and talking. The other food was brought up. They had Potatoe salad, pasta salad, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes were cooking on the grill.
Luke was with the guys as they were all talking and the girls were talking. Tristan came over to Rory and pulled her into his arms.
"I think everyone is getting along great."
"I do too. This is so nice. Everyone is here to help us celebrate our marriage. I can't wait to be your wife, Tris."
"Yes, they are and I can't wait to be your husband, Mare." He just held her in his arms.
"We want to thank everyone for joining us here tonight. We decided that instead of bachelor and bachelorette parties this was what we wanted. Just to have a nice quiet dinner with our family and friends. Mare and I would really like to thank you all for joining us and agreeing to stand up for us at our wedding. I love her with all my heart and can't wait to make it official." He then kissed Rory.
"Dinner is ready so help yourselves we have plenty. As Tris said we really do appreciate all of you. we are really excited about this next step in our lives."
"I can't believe you wouldn't let us throw you bachelor and bachelorette parties. We really did try to persuade them into allowing us to do it and they both refused." Finn said sadly.
They all ate dinner, talked, and laughed the night away. Finn had rooms for everyone in his hotel a couple of blocks away. The next three days were going to be busy with wedding preparations. They were leaving tomorrow for Stars Hollow.
Lorelai had booked the entire Inn for the wedding. We do the dress rehearsal tomorrow to make sure everything fits, decorate the church and annex the next day, and then have our wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the night before.
There were two limos downstairs to take the group to the hotel, Paris, Robert, Colin, and Finn to their homes.
The next day they all got up and packed their clothes. They made their way to the limo waiting for them. The others had already left heading to Stars Hollow. The guys were meeting them later and they were picking Paris up on their way out.
They arrived at Paris' home and she brought her suitcase and garment bags out. She handed them to the driver.
"Be extra careful with those dressed they better not be wrinkled when we get to Stars Hollow," Paris yelled at the driver.
She climbed into the limo and looked at Rory. "You better be glad I love you and you are my best friend I hate that little quack town of yours," Paris stated.
"Hello, I am Scott an old friend of Tristan's. I am sorry I didn't get a chance to speak to you last night."
"Hi, Scott I am Paris I went to school with both of these two and watched the love transpire for a very long time. I actually was there the first time they met. Rory hated him and he was like a lovesick puppy looking at her. By the way, I am soon to be divorced and I have two kids. I am not looking for a wedding hookup."
Scott was kind of thrown off by her words. "I am not looking for a wedding hookup either. I was just trying to be nice because I didn't get to talk to you last night.
Two days later:
They arrived in Stars Hollow and did their dress rehearsal everything fit everyone like they were supposed to fit. They got the church and annex decorated and tomorrow is the rehearsal dinner.
Rory and Tristan are laying in bed talking and laughing.
"So, two more sleeps, and then we will be husband and wife. I can't wait to marry you. The night before they are making us sleep separately so this is our last night together before we get married." Rory said sadly.
"I know baby but let's make the most of our last night together." He leaned over and began kissing her. Down her neck to her collarbone. They spent the next few hours making love and then just lay in each other's arms until they drifted off to sleep.
