"hey y/n can you train the new guy?" your manager asks
"sure where is he"
"Right over there"
you work at a restaurant as a waitress and recently a lot of people have been quitting
you like your job so you stayed and now you're one of the only people who are there
because of this, your manager asked you to be a trainer while they interview the applicants
you walk over to where your manager points and see a cute guy looking around nervously
"hey I'm y/n I'm going to be training you," you say to him
"m-my names Zachary... sorry I'm nervous"
"don't worry about it this job is easy. can I call you Zach?"
"y-yeah"
"hey calm down it's okay just breathe," you tell him and he listens
"ready?"
"yup"
you take him around the restaurant, showing him what each section is and where to get the food and drinks for people
"as you see I have a few tables in my section so you can come with me and watch while I take their orders"
you guys walk over to one of your tables of a few guys and he watches you as you talk
"hi my name is y/n and I'll be your server today. this is Zachary he's new so he'll be following me around. have you guys had a chance to look at the menu yet?"
"yup... oh Zach you're working TODAY," one of the guys says while the others laugh
"Yeah, I told you this morning?"
"do you guys know each other?" you ask
"Zachary is our SINGLE best friend. he'll be a good worker"
"I see. anyways what can I get for you."
they order their drinks and food and you and Zach walk away
"so your friends are nice"
"yeah they're kind of annoying as you could tell"
"They were funny. so they said you're single?"
"yeah are you"
"mhm but I d-"
"hey! y/n stop flirting and get the drinks!"
