Sometimes a few, forgotten chapters of your life get opened all of a sudden. Those that once were painful would now give you happiness and make you laugh like a mania patient. The memories of those happy moments would then replace all the sorrowful memories forever.
What started from a small argument last night was now a beautiful memory to cherish forever.
So it all started today morning when Anika found herself sleeping in the bed in Shivaay's protective embrace. Considering the kind of girl she was, she had to be embarassed and panicked once she found herself where she was. But all she did was smile and smile and stare and stare at his face that appeared as handsome as it was when he would be awake.
Last night was not an ordinary night. Nothing happened like what one might think that the two lovers had done before sleeping in each other's arms yet the night was special, because of the moments they shared and confessions they made.
After those intense confessions neither he let her go nor she tried to go. She helped him in settling in bed and sat beside him, just in case he would try to disobey her orders once again. When did she sleep in an uncomfortable position and than he made her settle properly on bed was something she was unaware of.
Shivaay's plan was to make her sleep on the other side of the bed and wake up before her so that she won't feel embarassed or get scared. But his unconscious self was also pulled by her aura and he ended up sleeping close to her and having her in his arms. After that he slept so peacefully for the first time in his life that he craved for more and he didn't want to wake up too soon.
Getting out of Shivaay's firm grip was too difficult but she managed it. She was scared about how she would get out of his house and go to her own. She didn't want to be a target for gossip of the old ladies of her neighborhood.
She didn't know what to do when all of a sudden an idea struck her stressed mind. She remembered there was a window at the back of the house from where she could get out. That window would open in an isolated street where no one goes. So she could easily enter her own house.
Once she was in her safe zone, her own house, while doing her usual morning chores she was thinking about Shivaay's carelessness regarding his health. He might be a grown up man but he was as careless as a kid who needed a chiding session to stay under control and taking into consideration the morning incident, it was impossible for her to go back and forth to his house and her own.
The only solution to this problem that she could think of was to stay under one roof where her hawk like eyes would be following him. But again it was no cakewalk while living in this typical Indian society where "A girl and a boy can't stay under one roof out of wedlock".
She recalled what she had done in the morning and she jumped happily as she found a solution to her problem. She could be with Shivaay all the time and come to her house from the same street whenever it was necessary. After preparing the breakfast for herself and Shivaay she went to give it to him.
Meanwhile, in Shivaay's house, Shivaay had woken up just a few minutes after Anika left the house. He looked for her but to his disappointment she was not there. He was disappointed because he had expected to see her face just after he woke up.
He knew she would've gone to her house but the question was, how did she manage to go ? As far as he knows his Anika, she was not that brave to step out of a man's house in the early morning hours.
After getting freshen up he was thinking about going to meet Anika but his silent payer was answered when Anika herself entered the house from the same window. She was just locking the window properly when she heard Shivaay's loud voice.
As she turned to look at him, his wide eyes, open mouth and a hand on his chest defined his panicked state very well. She was smiling as if nothing happened and she did nothing wrong, only if she knew what was awaiting her.
Slowly his mind connected the dots and the prossesd information wasn't really satisfying. The shock turned into anger and Shivaay strode towards her so fast that she didn't even get a chance to take another breathe.
"Have you lost your mind ? Why did you jump in and out of this window and then in that isolated street ? Don't you know it's not safe ?" No matter how calm he tried to be but his voice was louder than he wanted it to be while scolding her.
"It's n..not that bad. I thought it would be okay to go from here as the street is isolated so no one would doubt us." Anika didn't know what had she done that riled him up so much but she was sure she was at fault because he won't shout at her without any reason.
"Haven't you already witnessed what could happen to you if you're alone ? This street is isolated as per your information but I live in this house and I know what kind of people pass through this street. Mind my words, Sweebit, never and I repeat, never do this ever again. And it's just a matter of a day or two after that you won't have to do this." Out of all the words Shivaay's mouth spoke, her mind prossesd the word Sweebit quite soon and she blushed without even realising it. Just after a few seconds she realised what he wanted to say.
"Don't you even think about going back to your office after two days. Doctor had asked you to rest and you will do that." Anika shut Shivaay's thoughts about resuming his office with her one sentence.
Shivaay didn't say anything after that and had his breakfast silently. All this while Anika's mind was clouded by only one question and that was how could she manage to stay with him without raising doubts in people's minds.
"Shivaay, shift to my house." The words left Anika's mouth involuntarily just when she was mere thinking about what she could do. But now it was done so she accepted it as God's will and looked at Shivaay to hear his answer.
"Okay, I have an idea why you say so but do you have any idea how are we going to do it ?" Anika had no answer to that yet.
"But we'll find something." Anika was adamant to do what she had decided, there was no going back.
"Bhaiya !" A loud voice pierced their eardrums as soon as the door opened with a bang. Shivaay smiled as he found his baby brothers standing there but he was confused to see them looking like they were going to fight a battle.
"Why are you both looking like two sulking babies with no candies ?" Shivaay raised his brows as he made his way towards them and engulfing them in a hug. The three brothers were enjoying each other's embrace as if nothing was different.
"Rudra, the moment's gone. It's not emotional anymore." It was Om who as always, busted Rudra's bubble of happiness.
"And now it's awkward." Shivaay completed what Om started and Rudra unwillingly let them both go.
"What are you two doing here ?" Shivaay looked at both his brothers expecting am answer but both of them were busy staring at Anika and in turn Anika was standing there silently, like the odd one out between the three Oberoi brothers. With Shivaay it was fine because she had spent a lot of time with him now but facing the other Oberois after spending the dreadful moments of her life was embarrassing for her.
"Bhaiya, bhabi knows you ?" Rudra's immidiate, involuntary reaction was unexpected for Anika but for Shivaay and Om it was something they were used to.
The word bhabi was unsettling for Anika, in a good way, of course. She had observed Rudra's behavior while living in Oberoi mansion and the result of her observation was, Rudra Singh Oberoi came to the world without a filter in his mouth.
"Yes. She knows me." Shivaay's simple and short answer was ignored and what followed was another question.
"We know that but we are here to ask you about your health. You didn't even think of telling anyone of us about what Mr. Oberoi did to you and bha... Anika." Om was seething in anger but as always his voice was calm and composed and he chose his words wisely, in case Anika was uncomfortable with the endearment. So he thought it was better to wait till the time they get to call her bhabi officially.
"I.. I just didn't want you all to worry unnecessarily. I knew you both would eventually tell Dadi about all this and she would be worried and that would not be good for her health."
"Yeah yeah we know that. You just wanted to spend time..."
"Rudra I'm the one who pays your bills and that Mclaren Speedtail is yet to arrive. The order can be cancelled as well." Shivaay snubbed Rudra and said through his teeth gritted and a fake smile that was more than enough to shut Rudra up.
"Shivaay it's time for your medicine." Anika handed him a glass of water and placed two tablets in his palm that he gulped as if it was their daily routine.
"Shivaay take your medicines, come on." Om and Rudra showed their teeth to tease their elder brother but it didn't affect him a bit. Only Anika was the one who was getting roasted in the brothers' banter.
"I forgot one tablet. I'll go get it." Anika went to Shivaay's room to get the medicine while Shivaay pounced on both his idiot brothers for troubling his Sweebit.
"Stop troubling her, okay or you'll have to face me." Shivaay warned both of them by pinning them to the wall, which wasn't actually wall but the window, with both his hands holding them from their collars.
"But we are not troubling bhabi, we're troubling you." Said Rudra, trying to be innocent.
"By calling her bhabi you both aren't troubling her ? And by troubling me you both are troubling her as well. So stop it." Shivaay warned and once both his brothers nodded positively, he pulled Rudra with his one hand and Om with another to hug them because even if to scold them in a light hearted manner, he needed lots of courage. He loves them to that extent.
Om was casually holding the curtain on the window where Shivaay had pinned them and the sudden pull by Shivaay caused in him pulling the curtain as well that landed just above his head like a veil. The iron pipe in which the curtains were hung fell on the floor and not on Om's head.
At the same time Anika came out of the room and seeing the scenery infront of her, her mind's bulb lit up and a wide smile made its way to her lips.
Anika clapped her hands happily while a confusion ridden Shivaay looked at her as why out of the blue his Sweebit was smiling so widely. He was getting those vibes that it was not something bad but not good either. And her next words were enough to clear all his confusion and give him a shock.

This was not preplanned but then I was not getting a good idea to progress the story so it just came this way. Hope it was good. Do let me know if you all like it.
