"You don't seize to surprise me, Suzuki Fujimura."
"Well thank you, Rill."
"It's a shame that I have to end you here, you would have been a great addition to our Revived Clan."
"Dream on!"
"Hahahaha! You're just like the rest of them. Just trample over something that you don't understand. You see this as these self righteous beings but the fact of the matter is that you are small. You have no right to decide whether what I am doing is right or wrong! You're just trying to force your own form of justice onto me and I don't like it!"
Feeling the rage build inside of Rill, Suzuki stands on guard for an attack. However, that was far from what was going on.
"Void: Directional Change!"
Suddenly, the Void room began to change. Rill was standing still looking smug while the whole rooms direction was changing. It was like gravity was pulling them in all the opposite directions. However, as Suzuki has his senses heightened, he could feel what direction he should go in.
"This is all whack! I guess I am going to have to use this!"
Trying to get past the fact Rill changed the surroundings, Suzuki was able to push himself forward with the power of his 'Demon Arts: Demon Blast' by putting his hands behind his back. As he reached the middle, he eased on the power of the blast and yelled at Rill.
"This is it! Your reign over this Revived Realm is over! Demon Arts: Demon Blast!!!!"
He raised his left hand towards Rill and let rip a powerful attack. Being consumed with rage, Rill lost his focus and wasn't able to defend it in time.
Bang!
The power rained on him like a fast flowing torrent. It was all over for Rill.....
"Is.....Is that the final shot?!"
"IT'S NOT OVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRRRR!!!!!!"
"He's not down yet? Wait! This overflow in energy, it doesn't feel right."
Golden Demon Energy swirled around Rill but it looked like he was in pain. Blood dripped from his eyes and it looked like his skin was tearing. It was as if his body was burning alive...
"Wait! Stop, Rill!!! If you carry on, you'll die!"
"Like I care. If it knocks a pebble out of the way, then it is worth it. If I fall, Yozo will carry our will. The Good Demon Realm and the Haul Bringer will fall to the hands of us and to the hands of the Nova Kingdom!"
"Stop this nonsense!"
Suzuki runs over to Rill to snap some sense into him but it was too late. The power was too overwhelming that his body just bursted into nothingness.
Suzuki remembered back to what Keiichineko told him right at the beginning of their adventure. If you consume yourself with too much Oni-Chi, your body will pay the price and in this sense, Rill paid the price with his life.
"Dammit!! God Dammit!!"
"Why are you upset, Master Suzuki?"
"Shinki.....I'm sorry to tell you this but.......but when Rill dies, so does all the others."
"Huh? What do you mean? You can't be serious! Then.....Selina.....Selina!"
".......Yeah......."
"Nooooooo!!!!!"
Shinki yelled out a loud booming voice that echoed through the room. Just when he thought that he got his beloved Selina back, she was taken away from him once again.
"Why? Why did this have to happen, Master Suzuki?"
"It was the Nova Kingdom..."
"Them?"
"They resurrected them as part of their 'Dragonification Project'. They made Rill the catalyst to them. If he lost power or died, they would follow the same fate..... and it was him....again!"
"Him?"
"The man that brought Vincent back alive and caused the whole Manakin Village incident, Crayden!"
The room fell silent as both of them had to take in what has just been revealed. Suzuki cut Shinki down from where he was tied and caught him as he fell down.
"I'm...I'm sorry for not saving her, Shinki."
"Don't be ridiculous! I don't want to hear that from you, Master Suzuki. You didn't do anything....the Nova Kingdom did. So, don't feel responsible for her death."
"...Shinki...Oh! She did tell me to tell you this. That she was grateful to see you again and that she will continue to love you for eternity. She also said to go and find some new love and make her proud too and not to feel guilty about it either."
Tears streamed down Shinki's face as Suzuki told him the words that Selina left him. He couldn't comprehend that she had left once again but he acknowledges the fact that the little moments he had with her, will forever life on within him and continue to help him move forward.
Since Rill has now passed on, the Void that they were began to crack and crumble around them. They were soon about re enter reality. The Honemaru power began to fade along with his senses enhancement.
Bang!
The Void is now completely shattered and they are now back in the real world. They make their way to door and could hear the eagerly awaiting comrades on the other side. They both open the door and the light shines through the opened cracks. Gleams of smiles are everywhere as they all go to hug the long awaited Shinki.
"Shinki!! You're back for good, right, Shinki?!", asked Hikari in a concerned tone.
"Of course! I am very sorry to have worried you guys!", apologized Shinki.
"Nyahahhaha! You never had us worried, WonderDog!", laughed Keiichineko.
"It's Shinki!", barked Shinki.
"Even though he was the most worried one, secretly though.", jested Hebi.
"Oh, shut it!", replied Keiichineko.
Suzuki just let out a big smile as he could see them all back together again. Just as he was about to join the conversation, he felt a presence behind him.
"Thank you very much for saving us, Suzuki!"
"This voice....Selina! Where are you?!"
"We are now passing on now. Please don't regret what's happened, it was for the best. We were suffering. Them Nova's were controlling us and making us do horrible things.", revealed Selina.
"That's true, brat! I enjoyed our fight but I never wanted to put you on the brink of death!", stated Shuka.
"Same here, I never wanted to do that to my best friend, I just wanted to go back to old days with Shinki.", told Rill.
"See, so don't feel regret. To make sure that you don't, go and become the Good Demon Lord and make us proud! We are rooting you on! Farewell, Suzuki Fujimura.", ended Selina as they all faded out of existence.
Tears rolled down his face as heard the true feelings of the enemies that they just faced. He couldn't stop the tears from flowing. They just had to come out....
"Are you crying, Suzuki?", wondered Anna.
"It's.....It's nothing. I'm just glad that everything is going to go back to normal.", smiled Suzuki.
And so, Keiichineko opened up a portal back to the Human Realm and left the Inu Colony with Shinki in tow.
Mission Complete!
However, there was still danger lurking in the Colony...
"Seems like your plan failed, Master Shinra.", addressed Yozo as he was talking to Shinra over a phone.
"I see. Seems like he gave that brat too much info. Well, nevermind, we will still get what we want. We always do....now come back to base, Yozo, we have a lot to discuss.", commanded Shinra.
"Yes, Master!"
Back in the Human Realm...
"Phew! Anna, I'm going to need healing! I took a bit of a beating back there.!", explained Suzuki.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be with you in a minute.", responded Anna.
"That can wait, you can get treated at the hospital in the Good Demon Realm.", insisted a mysterious voice.
"Daiki-san? What are you doing here?", exclaimed Suzuki.
"Suzuki Fujimura, we formally invite you and your clan to Good Demon Realm to meet the Capitani Leggeri. We've also got a important update for you too."
Suzuki's eyes blinked quickly in confusion as to what is happening...
"Whhhhhattttttt?!?!?!??!"
