Yes guys, it's finally happening! I'm officially in rush season right now.
I decided to skip entries for some of the extra prep days before this since they were pretty standard like 2 more hours of parading around in dresses, and getting my nails and hair done etc.
Something of note, though, is that I chose to continue to dye my hair red. It's a little more purplish now, but I think it looks nice. Also it'll show my stupid fucking ex that he was wrong about me not looking good as a redhead
Today was orientation. Which basically means that I moved into my room (which is now filled with game of thrones posters and nerdy shit) and then did orientation.
Which, orientation was insane. I'm already exhausted, lol.
Basically what they did was they took us to the old clock tower building on campus and sat us down in a big auditorium. And then all of the pi chis (our recruitment councilors) were singing and clapping and stuff with all of the songs from the chapters. There were like 30 of them all in white letter t-shirts on every corner of the stage.
Then they introduced us to the recruitment staff.
AND THEN some lady called KJ came and talked to us about what happens during rush and how we need to be ourselves and how a sorority helped her and stuff. It was a lot, especially since you have to do a bunch of socializing.
Oh wait! There's more, lol. Two bags for the price of one! (JK, I did get free earrings today though)
Then we all went outside and sat in the grass for an hour with our own pi chi for our pi chi group. We then talked about rush and stuff and she asked us how we were feeling.
And then we filled out the cards.
Yes, we filled out cards on what our pi chi is supposed to do if we don't get an invitation back to any houses. It was kinda depressing, but oh well. If that happens y'all will be the first to know.
We also finally got our shirts though. The rush website kinda lied about what colors they were, but it's ok. I have outfits that match.
I'm sure y'all also see the booklet and white thing in the first photo. Well, it just so happens that I have a whole booklet about rush to read tonight.
I also got my serial number today. Yep, I'm PNM #1205. That means there's 1,204 other girls MINIMUM who are rushing.
It's kind of insane.
Oh and you know what else is insane? My schedule
I have to be at our basketball stadium for this at 7:30 two mornings in a row. That means I have to leave my apartment at 6:45, which means that I have to get up at, at least 6:15 to be ready and dressed properly.
Hehehehe yeah. All of my outfits are out for a reason.
So yeah, wattpad as an emotional release is gonna happen this week. Be prepared lol.
I hope that they like me, I truly do. I may complain about all the time and stuff, but I've been really excited about this for a while.
