"HES JUST MY FRIEND GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD I DONT LIKE HIM" you yell at your boyfriend on the phone as you walk in your house
You and your boyfriend Ryan have recently been fighting over everything.
He's super controlling and recently he's been super jealous. Today you just were talking to your friend Jordan who happens to be a boy when Ryan saw you two together.
After school he started calling you asking about this guy because he believes that you and Jordan like each other when you've just been friends
"I DONT CARE IF YOURE JUST HIS FRIEND HE LIKES YOU CLEARLY. THE WAY HE LOOKED AT YOU WAS AS HE LIKED YOU. AND YOU CLEARLY LIKE HIM TOO" he yells back
"YOU TALK TO SO MANY GIRLS YET I CANT EVEN TALK TO ONE GUY WHO IVE BEEN FRIENDS WITH FOREVER"
"Hey lower your voice please"
"Sorry" you mouth to the boys
"WHAT GIRLS DO I TALK TO" he asks
"I DONT KNOW THEIR NAMES. BUT YOU DONT JUST TALK TO THEM YOU FLIRT TOO RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. SO DONT TELL ME I CANT HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH MY FRIEND WHEN YOU HAVE WAY MORE WITH YOURS" you respond
"THAT IS A LIE"
"Whatever think what you want good bye"
"Bye And never call me again"
"What was that all about" Jonah asks as you sit down
"I was talking to my friend today and he saw and got mad cause he's a boy" you respond
"That's stupid you should be able to talk to whoever you want" Daniel says
"I know that's what I'm trying to explain but he just won't understand"
"I really don't like that guy" Jack says
"I mean yeah he gets jealous but besides that he is a really good guy. When he isn't jealous he's really sweet and funny" you say
"I don't believe it" Zach says
"Well you should"
"I'll believe it when I see it. All i hear about when you talk about him is bad things. And you'd think after more than half a year of dating you would you know go on more than one date" Zach responds
"Well I only tell you the bad things. The good ones you wouldn't care about. Also we don't go on dates. He says 'a date is just a formal hang out so what's the point of spending money when you can just stay and hang out'" you Explain
"I'm sorry y/n but that seems like he's just cheap and doesn't want to spend money on you" Jack says
"Well great now you all are making me feel like he's a bad person" you say
"Cause he is. He's obviously obsessive and jealous. He's a cheap person who doesn't want to spend money on their girlfriend, the stories you tell us make him seem to be controlling and overprotective" Jonah says
"Oh you're talking about the time he got mad at me because of the shorts I wore to school. That wasn't controlling" you say
"Oh my god that was definitely 100% controlling. Who tells their girlfriend what they can and can't wear. Plus those shorts were not short at all." Zach says
"Wait Zach how and why do you remember what shorts she was wearing" Corbyn asks
Zach starts getting even more redder than usual
"1. They actually were really short and 2. Don't answer that question please" you say
"No matter how short or long your shorts are he shouldn't tell you what to wear" Daniel says
"That was one time" you say
"Actually no remember when you went on the only date you've ever been on with that kid" jack starts
"Oh yeah and he told you that the dress you were wearing was too short and too revealing to go out in. I believe he made you change because he didn't want anyone to "look and want his girlfriend" Jonah finishes
"Okay that's two times"
They continue to go on about bad stories you've told them about Ryan
After an hour of them telling these stories you finally have enough
"Okay okay enough I get it he's a bad person. I'll just break up with him I guess" you say
"You don't have to... but you should" Daniel says
*next day*
You walk into school and see Ryan talking to another girl. Although he got mad at you for talking to Jordan you decide not to get upset.
You walk past them and walk towards your friend group
In the group are your friends and Jordan
You start talking to your friends about how annoying Ryan was
Jordan says he's stupid to be upset over you guys talking and you agree. However when he says this Ryan walks past you guys.
He gives you an angry look
"Oh great he's going to be mad again" you say to your friends
"So what if he is you shouldn't be with him anyways" Jordan says
"I know that's what the boys told me too."
"So listen to them" y/f tells you
*at home*
You start walking home Ryan constantly calling but you don't answer.
You get inside and he's still calling
You finally answer annoyed
"WHAT DO YOU WANT" you say answering
"I'm breaking up with you. This is the second time I've seen you talking to Jordan and I've had enough" he yells into the phone
"Okay break up with me I don't care you've been getting annoying about this." You say hanging up
You sit down next to the boys on the couch.
"Hey what happened" jack asks
"He broke up with me but I honestly don't care anymore I've actually been waiting for this to happen" you say lying cause you actually really liked him
"Aw Sorry" zach says hugging you
You give him an annoyed look cause they know how much you hate hugs
"Oops I forgot you hate hugs" he says pulling away
"It's Fine Anyways im glad he broke up with me"
You leave the room to start your homework. When you're finished with your homework you get a call from Ryan's friend Jake
"Um Hello" you say answering the phone call
"Hi I need to tell you something but you can't get mad at me or well Ryan"
"I don't care about Ryan anymore why would I get mad"
"Wait why don't you care about him" he asks
"Oh he didn't tell you. He broke up with me."
"Oh so that's why I saw him with y/bff." He says
You are shocked because y/bff is the last person you would expect to do something like that
"Wait what." You ask in shock
"Yeah I was at the store and he walked in holding hands with her and went to some aisle. And I was going to call you to say that don't get mad because he was with another girl but now I know." He says
You start tearing up
"Wait when did you see this" you ask sadness in your voice
"Umm yesterday like an hour after school. Oh no you weren't supposed to find out."
"Yeah I figured" you say even more upset
"And he broke up with you today meaning what I saw last night was him... oh" he says putting the pieces together
"Wow I can't believe this."
"I'm so sorry I was the one to tell you this" he says
"B-bye" you say hanging up
You start crying uncontrollably where you can barely breathe. So you go downstairs to get some water
As you walk down the stairs sobbing trying to get some air the boys see you
"Oh my god y/n are you okay? What's the matter" Daniel says
"No I'm not okay I just really need some water right now" you say breathing heavily through every word
You get a bottle of water and start to go back upstairs
"Y/n come here" the boys say making a space in between them
You sit down and open your water. You drink a lot and you can breathe again. The boys get you tissues and eventually you stop crying.
"So what happened" Corbyn asks sweetly playing with your hair, calming you down
"Well Ryan's friend Jake said that he saw Ryan and m-my friend walk into a store holding hands together. And I guess he thinks that they were going to ha-have sex because they were being secretive." you say starting to cry again
"Omg that's terrible. I hate him so much I can't believe that." Corbyn says
"Hey me too I hate that kid" Daniel says
"I swear if I ever see him" Zach says
"Guys stop please."
"No he can't just do that to you and expect people not to be mad" Zach says
"It's f-fine im just so upset it was with my friend"
"Which friend" Jack asks
"Y/bff"
"Has she ever been over" Corbyn asks and you nod turning to cry into his chest
He rubs your back as you sob
Suddenly, you hear a knock at the door you get up to get it but the boys make you sit down
"You sit I'm getting it" Corbyn whispers and you nod
He opens the door to a Ryan
"Please let me in I'm so sorry I need to talk to her"
you hear him say
"No you hurt her a lot" Corbyn says
"I know I need to apologize"
"Hey y/n Ryan's here he wants to apologize do you want to see him" Corbyn yells to you
You get up cautiously and reach the door
"I am so sorry I didn't mean to I honestly thought you liked Jordan and you were going to break up with me. That was the only reason" he says
"Then why my best friend"
"I figured it would be the best way to get you back I'm so so sorry" he says sounding upset
"I don't care. I'm done with you. You can say you're sorry all you want but I do not trust you, you hurt me now please leave"
"How have I hurt you" he says
"HOW HAVE YOU HURT ME! YOU CONTROL WHAT I DO, WHAT I WEAR, WHO I TALK TO. YOU PROBABLY DONT THINK IT HURTS ME BUT IT DOES. YOU SHOULDNT BE WORRIED WHETHER THE BOY I TALK TO LIKES ME OR IF WHAT IM WEARING MAKES BOYS LOOK AT ME. YOU SHOULD WORRY HOW I FEEL AND KNOW THAT EVEN IF THE BOY IM TALKING TO LIKES ME OR IF BOYS LOOK AT ME IM NOT GOING TO GO WITH THEM BUT IM GOING TO STAY WITH YOU AND LET THEM KNOW IM NOT INTERESTED. YOU TALK TO ME ABOUT THE BOYS IM TALKING TO YET YOU FLIRT WITH EVERY GIRL YOU SEE IN FRONT OF ME. IM DONE WITH YOU NOW LEAVE" you say sobbing
"I'm sorry" he says shutting the door
When he shuts the door the boys all look at you knowing you're upset.
Corbyn hugs you as you cry.
"Hey stop crying it's okay and over with you never have to deal with him again" he whispers
You stop hugging him and run upstairs to your room crying the whole way. Right when you get in your room you go on your bed and start crying even more into your pillow
After a couple minutes of crying the door opens
"Whoever it is please go away I just want to be alone" you say to whoever's standing in the room
"And let you cry in the dark no way I'm not leaving" the voice says
You look up your eyes all red and puffy and see Corbyn standing over you
"I want to cry in the dark" you say
"It's okay" he says kneeling down next to you
"No it's not my only relationship that I'll probably ever have is ruined and my friend ruined it. If I just didn't talk to Jordan or wore what I did this wouldn't have happened. This is all my fault" you say sitting up
"This is not your fault at all. He's the one who is controlling. He's the one who cheated this is all on him. He's an awful person. He doesn't deserve you he's the worst."
"I know but it's all my fault that he's controlling. He wouldn't be controlling me if I didn't do what's wrong for girls my age"
"This is not your fault and it never will be your fault so stop saying that. A boy shouldn't be able to tell you what you can or can't wear he should think you look good in everything you wear." He says sweetly
"I-I guess. Thank you"
"Anytime. if you need to talk to anyone or cry to anyone I'm here" he says hugging you
"Thank you" you whisper
He gets in the bed with you and you pull him close
"Stay with me" you whisper
"I'm not going anywhere"
