Alisa and I arrive at Circle and we immediately start on fixing up the studio. We just finished and entered the lobby the same time as Roselia arrives.
"Hello (Y/N)." Lisa says, waving her hand.
"Hi (Y/N)!" Ako also greets me.
"Hey." I greet back with a raised hand.
"Oh who's this, you're girlfriend?" Lisa asks with a smug look on her face.
"No, we're not dating. we're best friends." I explain for what feels like the hundredth time.
"Our relationship is purely platonic." Alisa follows up.
"I see, I guess I jumped the gun there." Lisa says. Something tells me that she would have said that to tease me either way.
"Hi, I'm Lisa Imai." Lisa introduces herself to Alisa.
"Name's Alisa Megurine." Alisa replies.
"Yukina Minato." Yukina Says.
"Sayo Hikawa." Sayo follows.
"I'm Ako Udagawa. A powerful necromancer." Ako says.
"My name is Rinko Shirokane." Rinko says shyly.
"Marina-san is the studio ready to be used?" Yukina asks Marina.
"Yes. (Y/N) and Alisa just finished up with it." Marina replies.
"Thank you. Everyone let's start practice then." Yukina says as she and the rest enter the studio.
"I wonder just how good are they?" Alisa wonders.
"They're really good." I say.
"You've seen them play before (Y/N)?" Marina asks.
"Yeah just last week." I answer.
"If you're curious Alisa, why don't you watch them practice." Marina says.
"Is it fine?" Alisa asks.
"There's nothing I need you to do at the moment so feel free." Marina assures.
"Okay then, let's go (Y/N)." Alisa says dragging me into the studio and I follow without complaint. I'm actually excited to see them play again.

We enter the studio to see Roselia setting up their instruments before they turn to look at us.
"What brings you two here." Lisa asks.
"We were wondering if we could watch you practice. Is it alright with you?" Alisa says.
"You may watch as long as you don't get in our way." Yukina says firmly.
"Understood." I say.
"Thank you." Alisa says as we take a seat to watch them play.
"Are you sure Minato-san?" Sayo questions.
"It'll be fine as long as they don't interfere. Think of them as an audience."
"Very well then."

"Yukina had such a powerful voice and everyone else played passionately." Alisa adds.
"We strive to perfect our music with our own talents and effort." Yukina explains with determination.

1 hour later
Roselia is currently taking a break from practice. As I was checking on the equipment, Alisa was chatting with Lisa, Ako and Rinko while Yukina and Sayo were discussing what to do next.
"The equipment looks like they're good." I report to Yukina and Sayo.
"That's good, thank you for checking." Yukina says.
"Can I ask what got both of you into music?" I question.
"My father is the reason I got into music. He was a musician before he stopped." Yukina says.
Sayo looks hesitant before she starts talking.
"I played the guitar because back then it was only thing Hina wasn't doing. Guitar is the only thing I have. Hina would always copy what I was doing and immediately become better while I had to put in time and effort. I won't lose to her when it comes to the guitar. I can't." Sayo says while clenching her fist and looking upset. Sayo is serious about her skills in guitar and may be she also has an inferiority complex to Hina.
"While I can't say how good someone is in music, I do admire people who put in effort for the goals that they strive for. Especially since I don't know what I want to do with my life. Honestly, I feel inferior to a lot of people I know, but I don't let it keep me down and I'll continue searching for who I am and what I'm good at. Hopefully someday, I'll find something I can devote myself to." I say.
"If you keep putting in effort in your guitar I'm sure you'll succeed. Also if you need someone to talk to, feel free to ask me. I don't give advice but I can listen and as I know having someone listen to you helps. I should know, I go through therapy after all." I say sincerely to Sayo.
"Thank you (L/N)-san, I'll keep that in mind." Sayo says. It must be my eyes playing tricks on me but I think I can see a faint blush on her cheeks.
"Please, just call me (Y/N) Sayo." I tell her.
"Okay then (Y/N)." Sayo says.
"We should resume practice now." Yukina says.
"Yes we should." Sayo agrees.

1 hour later
Alisa and I continued to watch Roselia practice until they decided to end it and go home. We cleaned up the studio and now we're heading back home.
"I didn't know you were capable of flirting (Y/N)." Alisa teases me.
"What are talking about?" I ask.
"Well I'm pretty sure you made Sayo blush back there. Do you have a thing for twins or something?"
"No I don't! I was just telling her I can listen to her if she needs it. I can relate to feeling inferior to someone else."
"Don't worry you'll find something that your good at. It can take years, but you'll find it."
"Yeah. I just need to search."
