I wake and somehow, im alive
My heart feels heavy
A headache blurrs my mind

Last night,
I didn't do it
But I woke as if I stood on the edge

My soul left me
It jumped without me
Then realized as it hit the concrete

That it was the physical body it needed to follow through
So I wake
Shaking
My eyes feel as if I had been crying

Im alive
My soul is disappointed
It wanted to leave this schedule of mine

Yet I woke
To feel the shattered
Uneasiness from the previous night
