I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 58:
--Emily's POV:
I was content in the bathtub as the water fell over my aching, bare body. I tried to block out all thoughts of Derek but he just wouldn't leave my mind.
After a good hour of just standing there, wasting water I realized I needed to get out. Turning off the warm water I was met with a cold breeze making me shiver all over and Goosebumps covered my body.
Tonight was going to be another freezing night. I remember people even talking about how it might snow tonight as well. I doubted it would but you never knew with Beacon Hills’ weather.
I wrapped a towel tightly around me and another around my hair and then stepped into my room. Quickly changing into grey sweats and a white tank top. Running my fingers through my hair, I tried to get the rest of the water out of it before I went to bed.
Walking back into the bathroom I sighed when I saw the bruise on my cheek. The shower had washed off the makeup I has used to conceal it. It wasn't as prominent as it was before but it had turned a nasty pale blue and purple, reminding me everyday of what had happened.
I ran my fingers along the sensitive skin and I winced.
I turned quickly as someone knocked on my bedroom door.
"Em, I'm coming in."
I panicked realizing I didn't have enough time to cover up my bruise. I quickly slammed my bathroom door shut and leaned against the wall next to the door. My heart was threatening to pound out of my chest.
I could hear my bedroom door being pushed open and I heard footsteps coming towards the bathroom.
"Em, open up." Scott's voice was muffled on the other side of the door.
"No, I'm not dressed. I just got out of the shower." I half lied, just wishing he would go away.
"I know your lying." He said in a flat tone.
"No you don't, now please leave." I begged.
"Em, I'm sorry I haven't been there for you lately." I heard the door creak slightly and I knew he was leaning against the door. "A lot of things have been happening lately and..."
"You just didn't have time to deal with me." I interrupted and you could hear the sadness dripping from my voice.
"Em..." He paused knowing he couldn't get out of this one. "I know it's about Derek."
I took in a sharp breath as Scott said Derek's name. It sliced through my heart and my knees gave out beneath me. I could feel the tears coming and I pulled my knees up into a fetal position and wrapped my arms around my legs.
"Em?" Scott's voice was louder and laced with concern.
"Please just go away." I whispered.
"No." He said back and with that he opened the bathroom door.
How he had heard me I didn't know or understand. I quickly ducked my head so he wouldn't see the angry bruise across my cheek.
I could hear him walk in front of me and sit down. I closed my eyes as tight as I could, hoping he would just go away. To be honest though, I didn't want to be alone right now but I would rather him leave and not see my cheek.
"Em." He repeated, this time his voice was much more serious, "Look at me."
I shook my head. I felt childish for not looking up at him but I had a legitimate reason.
"What did Derek do?" Scott asked.
Again, his name alone cut through me painfully.
"Nothing," I took a deep breath and held back the tears, "We aren't together anymore."
"Why?" Scott asked. He sounded somewhat surprised.
"We just aren't. Just please leave me alone." I asked as nicely as I could.
I was shocked as he reached and placed his hands on my face, quickly pulling my face up to meet his. I didn't have time to react and to cover up my cheek.
His eyes widened as he saw the purple and blue bruise and his entire body tensed up.
"He did this to you?" He growled in a low dangerous tone.
"What? No!” I yelped, “It's not like..."
"I'm going to kill him." Scott said under his breath.
"No! Stop! Let me explain!" I pleaded with Scott but he just wouldn't listen.
I began to panic as I realized the situation I was in. I didn't want Scott thinking that Derek has given me the bruise on my cheek but Scott just wouldn't let me talk. His eyes met mine but quickly turned back to my cheek.
I gasped as I saw his eyes flash a bright amber for a good few seconds and then return back to their normal dark brown color.
My entire body went rigid.
"Scott your eyes." I whispered in shock.
It can't be. He can't be one of them too.
His fingers clinched tightly into fists and I could see him shaking out of anger and rage.
I tried to reach out to touch his arm to calm him down but he pulled away and backed away from me. He was shaking almost uncontrollably now. I watched in horror as his eyes turned gold but didn't change back.
I was frozen with fear as I watched my brother transform. His ears grew long and pointed and long canines protruded out. His breathing became heavy and rapid, as his nails grew longer into claws.
His face transformed almost exactly like Derek's but Scott looked younger, a lot younger.
I couldn't move as I watched my brother.
I opened my mouth to talk but Scott growled lowly. It echoed and made his chest rumble. His eyes were glued to my own and all I could see was a feral anger in the glowing amber globes. I shook in fear as he crouched down and suddenly jumped towards me with his claws turned towards me.
A scream escaped my lips and my eyes shut waiting for his claws to rip into me but it never came. I heard shattering glass in my room and my eyes snapped open. I jumped up and ran into my room. I gasped as I saw my shattered window. Glass covered the ground around my window and I ran towards it.
I made it to the window just in time to see Scott disappearing over the fence. I grabbed the edge of the widow and yelped as broken glass cut into my hand. I pulled back quickly and moved away from the window.
My good hand went to my mouth as I backed away from the window. My body was in shock.
"My brother is a werewolf." I breathed.
I shook myself as I realized something very important. There are werewolf hunters out there. Kate's words echoed through my mind. She was hunting the other werewolves that were in Beacon Hills. That means that Scott could be in a lot of danger. Kate would kill him.
"No." I whispered as I ran to my chair and grabbed my jacket.
I threw it on and grabbed my phone. I needed to find Scott before Kate found him first and I had a pretty good idea where he was going.
Before I left my room I ran into the bathroom and quickly pulled out the first aid kit and got some gauze I could wrap around my hand. It was bleeding pretty badly but it was the least of my problems.
"Em?" I heard my moms voice yell. She must have heard the glass breaking but I didn't have time to talk to her.
I ran out my bedroom door and was met by my mom at the bottom of the stairs.
"Emily McCall! What in the world is going on up there?" She yelled as she put her hands on her hips.
I ran down the stairs and gently pushed past her, hiding my face from her so she wouldn't see my cheek.
"I can't explain. Everything is ok! I’ll be right back!" I yelled as I ran out the front door.
I could hear mom calling after me but I ignored her. I stopped as I saw Officer John getting out of his car and staring at me.
"I need you to do me a favor, right now. I need to get to the forest." I said flatly while walking straight up to him.
"No. Why do I need to help you?" He smirked and crossed his arms across his chest and leaned against his car.
"Look. I am not in the mood and you owe me." I snapped, getting aggravated with him now.
"And when exactly did I ever do anything to owe you?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows.
"I swear, if you do not take me to the forest, Sean and the Sheriff will know exactly how awesome you are at your job." I spat sarcastically.
His smile dropped and he sighed, nodding his head.
I pushed past him and got in the passenger seat while he got in the drivers seat.
The ride was completely silent and I couldn't stop my hands from shaking. Thankfully the bleeding had stopped on my hand.
"Here we are." Officer Jean grumbled, "I’ll wait here until you come back."
"No. Go home." I demanded and didn't give him a chance to answer before I jumped out of the car.
I began to start running towards the forest. I heard Officer John yelling after me but I once again ignored it.
I had only one thing on my mind and that was to find Scott before the hunters did.
