I lived in a world where it was forbidden to be anything else except straight. And as a gay, it was really difficult to be a person I wasn't especially when I was caught with my boyfriend. For a punishment, I was forced to watch the government beat him to death. Magnus really was my soulmate and I loved him so much. The only reason I didn't get sentenced to death was because of my family. However, I couldn't get caught with another boy again or I would be kicked out. I sighed glancing at the knife near the bathroom mirror before starting to cut. I grabbed some pills and gulped them down my throat as I struggled to breathe before finally taking my last breath.
