(Y/N)'s Pov
I realized that I hadn't checked my wrist in a few days. It hidden under my long sleeves every day so they wouldn't ask me why I always had a "sticker" on my wrist. I don't want to be seen as a freak because a "magical sticker" that's counting down for what? Soulmate. My soulmate. No more years. No more months. No more weeks. No more days. It read just these numbers:

Just one hour, five minutes, four seconds. Oh how it feels like a breeze. I had been waiting for a life time to meet him. His name printed just above the numbers.
"Tom."
That name sent shivers down my spine. I know by heart his name. The way it just roles off my tongue perfectly. I felt a wave of nervousness flow through me. Was a really ready to meet him....? I perked up once I felt a familiar feeling touch against my skin. I smiled before grabbing a pen and pulling up my sleeve.
'Hey. Are you nervous?'
Those words were marked against my skin in blue ink. I softly smiled at his concerning comment before it disappeared. I pressed my pen against my skin and wrote back.
'Yeah. I'm guessing you can feel it huh?'
I lifted my pen off my skin once I finished my sentence and waited for a few seconds. Eventually it disappeared as soon as he started writing.
'Heh yeah. I wonder where fate will have us meet.'
I immediately started writing a reply after reading that.
'It will be only a matter of time. I look forward to meet you Tom. Goodbye.'
With that, I stood up and went over to change.
~Time skip~
I was walking out in the streets of the city, time clicking away.
Tic... Tic... Tic...
I looked at my wrist.
Thirty seconds.
Why does that mean? Well.. what will happen? I turned my head to look around for any sign, anything out of the ordinary. Nothing. A sigh escaped my lips as a small strand of hair fell on my face. I let out a grunt of annoyance before I placed it back in its original position. The cold city air brushed against my warm skin. Impatience grew over my emotions. But... I could feel anxiety swell over my chest. God. Help me I can't stop thinking. My pace quickened as I fumbled with my fingers, unable to concentrate.
CRASH
I bumped into someone before we both fell onto the sidewalk ground.
"Ow! Watch where you're going!"
We both yelled out in unison. We stopped and looked at each other in awe. In that instant, out wrist violently shook causing us to yelp out and check our wrists. I lifted up my sleeve to view my timer and... it was gone. All that was marked was the word "ACHIEVED" in bold letters before it disappeared. My eyes widened in disbelief and confusion before I spun my head back at the man. He stared right back at me.
"T-Tom...?"
My voice ached with disbelief as I lightly shook. He wasn't much better.
"(Y/N)..?"
He finally spoke out. He voice was comforting and soothing. I basically threw myself over him as I tackled him into a hug. My heart pounded as I felt him warm arms embrace me. He was a stranger to my eyes, but not my heart. I rested my chin on his shoulder. Finally, after all these years...
"Hah... This is really happening..?"
I heard him softly speak out to me, his hand gently pet my (H/C) hair. I softly smiled as hot tears swelled up in my eyes. I tightly hugged him as I quietly sobbed on his shoulder. He must of heard my faint crying as he pulled his head back and grabbed my chin before forcing me to look at him. He was clearly worried.
"...Why are you crying....?"
He asked me as he gently wiped my tears away with his thumb. He looked kind of hurt as if he'd been the reason to make me cry. I let out a soft smiled and shook my head.
"Hah... I guess I'm just really happy to finally meet you Tom..."
I truthfully replied. His worried expression slowly turned into a happy one. He cupped cheeks and gently landed a soft kiss onto my lips before pulling away and grinning.
"I'm glad to finally meet you (Y/N)."

I've been doing a ton of community service for my art job dream I haven't been able to update often. I'm sorry. Teaching/ Helping small children with art crafts and such is difficult and must be focused on.
