Matt's Pov
"Rise from your grave."
A god like voice was heard. I was woken from eternal slumber. Or in other words I had risen from the dead. I pushed the dirt off of me, making room for me escape this grave. I looked at my pale hand. Then I remembered the events of my death.
~Flashback~
The guys were laughing at (Y/N)'s puns as we walked to the store.
"Then I said 'Wow! My first pair of converse! I guess I'll finally be able to have a good CONVERS-ation!"
They all laughed at her jokes. I laughed as well but I wanted to talk to her. I felt something weird when I she looks at me. I'm not sure what it is. But I know I like her, a lot. She makes me feel... nice. I started slowing down behind them. Lost in my thoughts of that girl. I tugged my shirt tightly. I could feel my face burn up. I had come to a complete stop. My thoughts took over my mind. Then after what seemed like forever, I finally snapped back into reality and looked up. They were gone. I started to panic slightly.
"Guys?!"
I called out. No answer.
"Guys!"
I turned my head towards the direction of what seemed to be a normal person walking down the street. I ran over to them.
"Hey! Did you happen to see a (H/C) girl with about three other guys walking around here?"
I asked the person. They just groaned. I tilted my head in confusion.
"Um.. Hello?"
I asked once more. Then he turned around. This wasn't a normal person. It was a zombie!
"Zombie!"
I yelled terrified. Before I could react he bit my arm off. I yelled in horror and pain as I fell onto the ground. My vision became a blur.
"(Y/N)..."
My softly called out before coughing up blood. Tears started to form as I felt my life slowly flow out of my body. I could see (Y/N) and the guys walking out of a store, carefree. They were really far away.
"Please help me..."
I reached out my arm in their direction but it was no use, they couldn't see me. My arm fell still as my last life energy left from my body. Tears flowed out of my eyes before I closed them completely.
~Flashback over~
After that I just blacked out. I guess I know what death feels like now. I crawled out of my grave and stood up. I ran my fingers over where my arm used to be. I bit my lip as I recalled the pain I was in. (Y/N) never came. Could feel my heart shatter into many tiny pieces. I laid my hand over my slowly beating heart. I knew I was a zombie. I narrowed my eyes. I need to find (Y/N). I started walking out of the cemetery. But first, let me visit a little someone called Tom...
(Y/N)'s Pov
We all jumped into the car. Tord was the last to shut his door. Once he did he let out gasp of pain. I looked over at him in concern.
"What?"
Edd looked at Tord.
"I er... I slammed the door on my leg."
Edd gave him the you've-got-to-be-kidding-me look. I just imagined the pain of losing part of his leg like that. It sent chills down my spine.
"Hey look it's Kim and Katya!"
Tord announced. Since I was in the back, I moved to the middle seat to see what he was talking about. There were two zombie girls that looked anime-like. Edd turned on the car and proceed to run them over. The windows were now bloody. I blinked in confusion of Edd's actions but I just shrugged it off.
We arrived at a stop light. I held my head in my hands in boredom. How long was this ride going to be? I sat up and stretched my arms and looked at the people walking by. I didn't think much of it until it hit me. If the zombie apocalypse didn't die down, then why were these people walking across the street. I looked back at them and my eyes widen. It was Tom and a now zombie Matt. I gasped in surprise. He then stopped walking and looked at us. At Edd, then at Tord, and finally me. He bit his lip when he looked in my direction. I looked at him in awe. He then just jumped out of our way as Edd raced in the wall sending me nearly flying. But I had my seat belt on. Safety first children.
"EDD! THE HECK! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?"
I rubbed my head from the impact. My head had managed to hit one of the seats. He looked back at me.
"It was a zombie. I wanted to kill it. Are you okay?"
He asked in concern. I just stepped out of the car still holding my head. I had a killing headache from the impact. Did they really not realize that zombie was Matt. They both got out of the car and looked over at Matt. Edd went over and helped Tord get out of the car since, well, he slammed his leg off.
"Crap! Matt must be after the necronomicon too! We have to get to the book's resting place before him!"
Tord said as we looked at Tom and Matt walking down the alley.
"This way! I know I short-cut!"
Edd replied and walked in another direction.
After what seemed like forever, we were still walking in this "short-cut." But I had to be honest, Tord looked adorable being carried by Edd.
"...and we just take a left here and holy crap."
I had the same reaction as Edd. There was a crap load of zombies ahead of us, and they realized our presence. Edd put Tord against the wall as he took out a shovel and spun it around. Where did he even get that...? Tord pulled out his gun and pointed it towards the zombies. I looked around and found a bloody bat on the ground. I took it and spun it twice before looking back at the zombie with an evil grin.
Tord shot the closest zombie. Edd followed up by slamming the metal part of his shovel into a zombies face. I sprinted up to a zombie and slammed my bat over their head. I spun myself sideways and hit two others sending them flying into a wall. I looked back to see a zombie about to eat Tord. But he handled it by shooting the zombie in his mouth. Wait can one zombie eat another zombie? Now's not the time
(Y/N). I looked over at Edd who sliced a zombie's head off this his shovel. I finished off the last zombie and we stood there proud of ourselves, bloody, but proud. Then we heard some groaning behind us and we look in that direction. Our eyes widen as we say a bigger herd of zombies behind us. Nope. Not dealing with this. Apparently Edd thought the same as he yelled.
"Run away!"
We all ran in the opposite direction of the herd of zombies.
Matt's Pov
I ate at the survivor's head. I chewed happily.
"Matt! Do you HAVE to eat every survivor comes to us?!"
Tom said angrily. I ignored his question and just walked to the entrance where the necronomicon lays.
"Finally, the necronomicon's resting place."
I sighed in relief and walking right in.
"Mmm, inviting."
I heard Tom sarcastically say. I walked up to the rock but my expression soon turned from happy to angry. The books were gone. There was a small little note where the necronomicon should be. I read it out loud.
"Sorry took the books. LOL. Sorry not sorry."
I crushed the note and punched the rock in frustration. How was I supposed to turn back into a human now? I heard foot steps heading our way. I turned over as I was about to eat anyone who was heading my way. Then I realized it was Edd, Tord, and... (Y/N).
"Hey Matt."
Edd waved as he carried Tord over to my direction. (Y/N) stayed back. I could tell by her expression on her face she was a bit scared of me. I felt a pain grow on my chest as I thought more about it. Then I felt a punch hit me on the face. I grabbed my cheek where the fist hit me and I looked over. A very angry looking Tord was towering over me. I got up instantly.
"Where did you hide the book Matt?! I need it too you know!"
I made my hand into a fist, resisting to punch him on his own face.
"Look when I came here the book was gone! I don't know what happened to it!"
Tord didn't believe me and followed up by pushing me off over the fence, close to a cliff.
"T-Tord! What are you doing!?"
I heard a distant call from (Y/N). What's his problem? He continued to punch me then suddenly we rolled over the cliff. As we fell, I could see a very scared-looking (Y/N) calling out our names. Then, we landed into the water.

Author's Note:
So I just wanted to say this book will have I think one or two more parts. (Probably one.) So yeah! I also wanted to say, that pun I made up there about the converse is a legit conversation I have with someone. So I guess you could say I left you on CLIFFhanger! Hahahaha I sense you cringed XD
