Justin's POV
"What the hell happened to you?" Cameron rose a brow at me as I treat the bruises on my face.
"Calum went here with Summer." I answered. "They tried to get Jade back."
"What's your plan now?" He sat at across me.
"I gave her 2 days to decide if she will come with me and Jade or not." I shrugged.
"You're insane." Cameron shook his head, obviously disappointed.
"I'm still trying to save everything that I kept for years, Cam." I say as I pick a new cotton ball from the jar.
"That's the thing, Justin." Cameron says. "They're not yours to keep." He looked at me.
"You're suppose to be on my side." I say, a bit irritated.
"I've been on your side for 4 fucking years, Justin." He defends. "But we can't do anything now!"
"We can!" I yelled. "I can!"
"Dammit, Justin!" Cameron shoots up from his seat.
I just got into a fight with Calum, and now I'm arguing with my cousin. My body is hurting and I don't need any more shit right now.
"Fuck off, Cam." I finally said before turning my back to him and I heard him sigh as I walk away from the intense zone of the house.
I went to the bathroom at my room to get some bandages for my face. Cameron is right and I know that, I just hate the fact that he is rubbing it on my face. Summer and Jade are not mine to keep, I stole them from Calum. I'm a selfish jerk. I kept them away from the people who are supposed to be with them.
I know I'm wrong, no matter how you look at, I'm wrong for taking them away. I closed the door of my medicine cabinet and came face to face with my own reflection on the mirror.
I can see how fucked up I am right now. Those little bruises and fresh wounds from the fight earlier with Calum, the dark circle under my heavy eyes and my messy blonde hair. I never thought that I'll see myself in this kind of state.
I've been blinded by hate and too much love that I forgot about myself, what is right and wrong, and what is the real meaning of love and happiness. I stepped on people, hurt some people just to be happy.
Honestly, I have no idea what to do anymore. What to say to Summer, what to say to Jade and Cameron. I don't know how can I still keep them, I know Calum will fight to death just to get them back, because I'd do the same just to keep them.
I am interrupted when my phone started ringing. I pulled out my phone and answered the call.
"I found them."
"Good." I say then I ended the call at instant.
I can still give Summer the day. I'll make sure she'll come back to me and Jade. I looked back at the mirror to see the evil smirk on my lips right now. I'm a one big fucked up piece of evil shit.
I went out of the house and borrowed Cameron's car. I drove to a bar to meet with the private investigator that I hired.
I sat the the VIP table and waited for him. Later on, he sat across me and handed me the files.
"I found the kid's parents." He tells me as I read the files he just handed. "They're living in San Francisco right now."
I read through the files of the young married couple name Zac and Vanessa.
"Are you sure it's them?" I ask, my eyes locked on the files.
"Hundred percent."
"Call them in." I say as I close the folder and looked at him. "I'm gonna make them complete." I smirk.
Calum's POV
I am laying on the couch here at the living room area and staring at the white ceiling of our hotel suite. Summer is already on bed with Dylan. I can't explain how I'm feeling right now, I'm very happy but not yet completely. Not until we get Jade back from Justin.
I have no idea how everything between me and Justin ended up to this. We were rivals in the mafia world and now we're still on war but not in the mafia world. I don't even know how to describe the war that we are in. War of love? That sounds stupid, really.
"Hey, Cal?" Someone called and I lifted my head to see Luke.
"Hey." I say as I sit down. "Why are you still up, Luke?"
"I'm a bit worried about you."
"I'm okay." I say. "Don't worry."
"Just remember that we're here if you need help." Luke reminded me.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"Okay then." Luke says before yawning. "I'm going back to bed. Night, Cal."
"Night, Luke."
Luke and I usually fight, but we never left each other's side. Our brotherhood is standing strong as days go by, and I'm proud that we're sticking together. I know that Hero and Ashton will be very proud and happy if they can see how me, Luke and Michael are now.
Speaking of Hero and Ashton, I miss them. It's been years, it's really different without them. Losing our two big brothers have been a challenge for the three of us. We depended on each other, got strong for each other. And I'm proud of us.
Morning came in and I'm awaken by the good smell of food being cooked. I sat from lying as I open my eyes. I turned my head to the kitchen area to see Summer cooking and Dylan on the dining table with his cereal.
"Morning." I say with a raspy morning voice.
"Morning, Daddy!" Dylan turns to me.
"Morning, Calum Wayland." Summer smiled at me as she place the plate of eggs at the dining table.
"Eat up." She says.
"I have to remind you that there are still like 6 other guys that you need to feed." I chuckled lowly as I sit down beside Dylan.
"That's not a problem, silly." She laughs.
I missed that laugh, that smile, that happy voice, everything about her. If this is a fucking dream, please don't ever wake me up again.
Later on, the other guys of the suite came in to the dining area. Good thing Summer is able to cook for everyone. And I'm happy on the way on how they treated her.
"Wow, it's good having a girl in this suite." Luke says.
"We missed you a lot, Summer." Michael tells Summer and she returned a smile.
"What do we have for the day?" Harry asked.
"We still have to get Jade back." I answer.
"Do you want us to come with you guys?" Michael asked, I can see how concern he is.
"N--"
"Who is Jade, Daddy?" Dylan interrupted.
"She's your baby sister." I smiled.
"I have a sister?!" He says with a cute shocked expression.
"Yeah, angel." I say. "You have a little sister."
Dylan gave me his cute smile. I can see how happy he is, and it's the first time that I saw him with that smile. I just hope that everything won't fall for Dylan. I can't afford to see him broken, I bet no parents can look at their child in such state.
Everyone finished breakfast, everyone left for the pool. I asked my brothers to bring Dylan with them, so Summer and I can talk on how we can get Jade back.
"How can we get Jade back?" I ask her.
"I don't know." She sighed. "Jason is not like that before." She added. "Or maybe I lost that part of my memory too."
"Don't stress too much." I tell her.
"I just need my daughter back."
"We'll get her." I say. "I promise you that."
Later on, our room phone rang and I picked it up.
"Mr. Calum Wayland?" The receptionist from the other line asked.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"There are people looking for you here in the lobby."
"Who?" I asked, confused.
"Zac and Vannessa Efron." She tells me and I rose a brow for their names aren't familiar. "They say it's urgent."
"Okay." I say. "I'll be down there in a bit."
I hung up the call and looked at Summer.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Can you come with me at the lobby?"
"Okay." She nods.
Summer and I went down the lobby and approached the people looking for me. They're a young couple, maybe a year or two older than me and Summer.
"How can I help you?" I ask politely.
"Hi." The guy greeted. "I'm Zac." He extended his hand.
"Calum." I say as we shake hands.
"This is my wife, Vanessa." Zac introduces.
Can you just get straight to the point already?
Vanessa went to her bag, looking for something. Few seconds later, she pulled out a photo of a baby. She showed it to me and my heart raced when I realized that the baby in the photo is my son, Dylan. She handed it to me and I took it.
"We've been looking for our son everywhere since he got adopted." Vanessa tells me and I looked at her. "We came back days after I left him at the orphanage because I know what I did is wrong." She added.
My head started to spin at the thought that they are here to get Dylan back, to get my son back.
"Daddy!" Dylan's voice boomed behind us.
Zac and Vanessa tilted a little to see who yelled Daddy. I turn to see Dylan approaching with Luke and Michael.
"Daddy!" Dylan called as he runs to me.
I picked Dylan up and turned to his possible real parents.
"Hi!" Dylan greeted them.
I saw how their expressions shifted when Dylan greeted them. Especially Vanessa, I can see how happy she is to see Dylan.
Vanessa is about to reach Dylan when I stepped back a little from them.
"Dylan, let's go." Luke calls Dylan. "Your Dad is talking with his business partners."
Luke took Dylan from me, then I turned my gaze back to Zac and Vanessa.
"I won't let you take my kid." I tell them. "Please leave."
I immediately turned my back to them and grabbed Summer's hand before walking away from them.
"You can't just take away our child!" I heard Zac yell behind us as we walk away. I can also hear Vanessa trying to stop him from whatever.
We are in the elevator and I can feel cold sweat all over my body. As if I was soaked into a fucking cold water.
"Cal?" Summer called.
I turn to her but didn't say anything.
She looked at me for a second before wrapping her arms around my waist and moved closer to me. That's when I registered that she is hugging me. I kinda froze, not knowing how to react to this hug. Maybe because it's been a long time since she hugged me like this.
Seems like the time has stopped when I hit the realization. I wrapped my arms around her and rested my head over hers. I know that with her, I can go through all this shits. But I have to admit, I can't afford to lose Dylan, I can't afford to lose my kid. The one who kept me sane for the past dark years of my life.
Justin's POV
Zac and Vanessa just arrived here at Cameron's house. I invited them to ask what happened. They told me everything and I think that my plan is going smooth as I want it to be.
"I'll help you get your son back." I tell them.
"Why are you doing this?" Zac asked.
"Because I don't want Calum to take your son away from you." I answer. "The same thing that he took away my wife and daughter from me."
