Today was Tuesday. Which is also the day of the Descendants premiere.
To say I was nervous, was an understatement.
Maya was still asleep when Cameron walked in this morning.
"I see I've been replaced." he says, laughing.
"Yep. I chose the better Boyce. Sorry."
"Anyways, I wanted to tell you, bring an extra set of clothes for the after party tonight."
"What do I bring."
"A dress. Nothing fancy but something fancier than a clubbing dress."
"I can work with that." I nod.
"The movie is starting at seven but we'll need to take pictures and do interviews so we're gonna be leaving here around four. Is that good?"
"Perfect." I smile.
Cameron leaves the room and I check the time.
11:03am.
I roll out of bed and hop in the shower. After I shave, wash my body and hair, I hop out and wrap a towel around my body and hair.
I grab my blue lace bra and matching underwear. Just wanted to keep the blue theme going tonight.
I slip them on then start blow drying my hair.
I slip on some sweats after deciding to start getting ready at 12:30pm.
I head down stairs and start eating my breakfast.
At 12:30 exactly I head upstairs to get ready.
It looked like Maya had the same idea, because she was rushing out of my room and into hers.
First I looked for my after party dress.
I pulled out a black dress. The top was designed like a long sleeve crop top and the bottom, like a matching black skirt. They were connected in the middle by a small piece of sheer fabric.
I smiled and packed it in a bag.
I grabbed my curling iron and my straightener then plugged them in.
Once they were hot, I grab my straightener and straighten my whole head.
Once it's pin straight, I take my curling iron and curl the ends of my hair.
Once I'm finished, I unplug both and check the time.
1:06pm
I walk over to Maya's room and I see her trying to straighten her hair.
"Want help?"
"Yes please." I chuckle and walk over, taking a seat behind her.
Once I finish straightening her hair she shows me her dress.
I check the time and see that it's two.
"Shit." I mutter and run back to my room.
I quickly set out all my makeup and start my makeup.
I did a natural smokey eye and topped it off with nude lip stick. I applied my mascara and may or may not of put some fake lashes on.
By the time I was finished, it was 3:45pm.
I slip out of my clothes and take my dress out of the closet.
I carefully put it on and slip into my heels.
I go over and look in the mirror.
I smile at my reflection and take a couple selfies.
I grab my bag and phone before exiting my room.
As I was walking out, Maya was walking out at the same time.
"Woah." We say in unison.
We link arms and walk downstairs.
We were greeted by a smiling Libby and Victor, and a speechless Cameron.
"Come on guys! It's four. Let's get going."
We all climb into the limo that was waiting for us. I was seated in between Maya and Cameron.
We get there around 4:15pm.
"Just smile, and if you ever don't know what to say, look over to me." Cameron says quietly before grabbing my hand and slipping out of the car.
"Cameron! Cameron! Over here!"
"Who's this?"
"Cameron come take pictures with your girlfriend!"
I blushed at that one.
Multiple pictures were taken of us and I did exactly as I was told.
I smiled and waved.
Cameron had to do an interview but insisted on bringing me.
"Hey, what's up guys? I'm here with Cameron Boyce and Elena Parker. Tell me, how's it feel to have a movie, that you're staring in, be premiered?" The interviewer asks Cameron.
"Oh, I mean, it's amazing. Being in the center of the plot and being a huge part of the movie feels incredible." he nods.
"So, Elena. What's it like being friends with a movie star?" he laughs, as do I.
"Well, at first it was weird, y'know? Like, I was so used to seeing this kid on TV and now we're friends. But now it's normal. I've learnt that just because he's on TV, he's not any different from the rest of us, y'know? He's just a normal guy." I smile.
After a few more questions, the interview was wrapped up.
I spotted Sophia and Dove and pulled Cameron towards them.
"Elena! You look stunning!" Dove says.
"You too beautiful." I pull her and Sophia in for a hug before complementing Sophia as well.
"So how's your first movie premiere going?" Sophia asks.
"It's so amazing, honestly. Are you guys excited to see the final product?"
"I've been itching to see it since we finished filming."Sophia laughs.
A brown haired boy walks over to us and pecks Dove on the cheek.
"Oh, Elena, this is my boyfriend, Ryan. Ryan, this is Elena."
"Nice to meet you." He says pulling me into a hug.
"You too." I smile.
Cameron tells me that we have to go take photos and I bid my goodbyes to the girls and Ryan.
"Cameron! Elena! Over here!"
Cameron snakes his arms around my waist and I rest my arm on his shoulder, leaning into him.
I turn my body to face Cameron as he pulls me closer to him, but I keep my head facing the cameras. I extend my arm fully around Cameron's neck and keep my other arm at my side.
We continue taking pictures until the movie was about to start.
I don't think I've ever smiled so much in my life.
"Booboo!" I say.
"Elena! Hey!" he pulls me into a hug and pushes a strand of hair out of his face.
We chat for a bit but then me and Cameron take our seats because the movie was about to start.

The movie was absolutely phenomenal. The music and choreography, the acting, just everything about it.
I met so many people tonight, that I've only ever dreamed of meeting.
I met half the cast of High School Musical for Christ's sake! (who I obviously got pictures with.)
Now I was in the bathroom changing for the after party.
I met Cameron outside and we walked to the limo, seeing that the rest of the family was already inside.
Once we got to the place where the after party was held, I stared in awe.
When we got inside, almost everyone was already there.
I dragged Cameron to the dance floor as soon as I saw it.
We danced for a song or two before the girls dragged me away.
Dove and Sophia grabbed my hands and raised them up as we swayed to the music.
Obviously I got snapchats and pictures.
"Having fun yet?!" Dove yelled over the music, still jumping around.
"Beyond!" I yelled back.
Prayer in C came on and we yelled out the lyrics, still dancing.
Right before the beat drop when its really soft, we stopped jumping and started singing the words. Then the beat dropped and we jumped around again.
After a few more songs we headed to the bathroom.
The girls touched up their makeup then we took a couple selfies.
We walked back out and I found Cameron eating at a table with the cast of Gamer's Guide.
"Hey guys!" I said when I reached them.
"Hey! Having fun?" Cameron asks when I take a seat beside him.
"Lots." I smile.
"Yeah I could tell. I saw you and the girls jamming out." he laughs.
I steal a fry off his plate and start talking to Sophie.
"How are you?" I ask.
"I'm good, you?"
"Me too." I smile.
We get caught up in a conversation about tonight.
After awhile she leaves to go find her brother.
Me and Cameron got a few good pictures that I will probably post later.
After a few more hours we went home.
On the drive back, I couldn't stop smiling.
Tonight was amazing and I'm so thankful.
"Thanks for the best first date ever." I whisper to Cam and peck him on the cheek.
"Anytime, babygirl."
