Nate's POV
I took a seat on the beach taking my shoes off to just chill for a minute. I know I live in California but I don't come to the beach...like ever. I really should...but I don't.
The only reason I'm here now is cause I'm waiting for my boys.
I was watching the water when I saw a girl start paddling out to a wave. There's no way she can take that. Yet she proved me wrong. She just killed that wave.
"Hey man" Sam said as he walked up to me "you ready?"
"Yeah let's get outta here." I said getting up and following him.
"So what's this meeting for again man?" He asked
"No idea they wouldn't say much."
"Well let's find out."
----After Meeting----
After the meeting Sam and I decided to go to a little hole in the wall dinner to grab some food
"So how ya feeling about this bro?" I asked Sammy
"I mean it's cool but you just got off a tour. Are you ready for another one already?"
"I guess I mean it doesn't even start til next summer so I guess we'll see what happens. It's not like we can say no right? We have the shot we need to take it." I sighed
"You're right, you're right."
"Hi sorry for the wait can I get you something to drink?" A light voice asked
"Hey you're the girl from the beach this morning!" I exclaimed
"Yeah and you must the creep who my friends said was watching me!" She mimicked
"Hey I'm not a creep!"
"Whatever what do you want to drink?" She huffed....well okay then
"So clearly it's not your day so I think we're just gonna go" I said looking at Sam while getting up to leave.
