!Third person's POV!
"Are you ready?" Luke asked Nova who was tensed and her heartbeat was frantic. Everyone in the room were silent no uttering a single word while Edward, was pretty nervous.
He was relieved for her being alive and safe but now as he got to know what is going on in her life he couldn't help but feel guilty, concerned and angry at himself, kicking himself mentally for leaving her, saying those hurtful things.
But it was difficult for him too, he loves her with all his heart, she was the only one who he gave his heart to and now to leave her, shatter her feeings, it was something he never thought he would have to do, but he saw the truth, the truth of a human and a vampire being together, it would always end in chaos, she was better without him.
"Yeah....." Nova trailed off looking at Luke to start, she knew this was going to pain and that was the main reason why she was feeling so nervous.
"Creaturae Asuroth per hanc portam intrant in terram vitae et mortis et interitum diffundunt" Luke started with spell and Nova took a deep breath ready for the pain.
"Lux Bender dat creaturas Asuroth licentiam ingrediendi regnum vitae et mortis" She started to feel a very light weight in her chest and she knew he has started. Panic settled in her heard when the memory of her coughing up blood from her mouth infront of Adelard flashed infront of her eyes.
She fisted her palms and took another breath.
'You are safe, you are with the people you trust' She kept chanting in her mind forgetting about her mental shield down.
Edward felt this and dived in her mind.
He was looking for everything she has experienced till now, knowing it is wrong but he just couldn't stop herself, he wanted to comfort her but till he doesn't know about her past how can he do it?
He saw how she met Jacob and his tribe and heard the story of their tribe, he saw how she discovered about the elementals.
A grunt made him jump back out of her mind as he focused on her. Nova's forehead was coated with a thin coat of sweat and her palms were white from how tight her fist was.
She bit her lip to not make any sound and looked at Luke, who was already looking at her.
"Creaturae Asuroth per hanc portam intrant in terram vitae et mortis—" His words drowned by her small scream and her cough but he still continued. The piece of Lubene had started glowing in his hand, it was becoming hotter by every passing second.
Nova tilted her neck and a crack sound echoed in the quite hall, it was just the whispering of Luke's spell.
Nova's eyes were shut tightly when she felt a cold sensation on her hand, she couldn't bring the courage to open her eyes. The heaviness had turned into someone pinching her skin and someone rubbing sandpaper against her skin, but she had felt worse, it is just that the pain is hightened maybe because of the closeness of the sorcerer and her.
"Terra Bender dat creaturas Asuroth licentiam ingrediendi regnum vitae et mortis"
Her eyes turned green as soon as he said the spell and and another loud grunt echoed around the hall.
"T–try harder, Luke" She muttered.
"There is no need Nova, you are hurting yourself" Edward breathed just besides her but she shook her head.
"To your full potential Luke!" She exclaimed before grunting at the intensity of the pain, it felt like someone has put fire on her body.
The element, Lubene had started to have a strong glow and black mist had started to form above it, catching everyone's attention.
"C–come on, you c–can do it!" Nova stuttered as he continued to work with the spell.
Jasper's powers were also doing no good to her. It was as if the nature had created boundaries of who can interfere.
Nova started to feel exhausted and her head started to fall. Edward, who was sitting next to her, let her body crash to his as he held her up with her face in his neck and his hand around her waist. She clearly had no sense of what was going on in her surroundings.
"Stop it!" Rosalie stood up while everyone was too stunned to speak.
"Creaturae Asuroth per hanc–I can't–portam intrant in terram vitae et mortis et interitum diffundunt" A tear slid down Nova's cheek when Edward cupped her face with one hand and looked at her clearly pained by the whole situation.
Carlisle's words rang in his head about being for her and that's what he did, he didn't knew how to soothe her pain but he did what he could.
He started to rub her waist lightly and with his other hand he combed his fingers through her hair while her eyes were closed.
She opened her eyes a little to see a fully visible black mist hovering above the rock.
"Keep it o–on ta–table use b–both your hand cover t–o all directions" Her words were broken and misplaced but Luke understood what she was trying to say.
She let out another small scream as her head again fell on Edward's shoulder while his grip tightened on her waist.
Her sole attention was on the rock and after repeating the incantation another time it had started to glow red.
"You are do–doing great" She whispered without any strength. It scared her that she cannot control this much pain so how is going to control when 3 machines are using her powers with her.
The element started to crack with so much power and Luke's eyes twinkled when he finally understood what Nova was trying to say.
After another repetation of the incantation the rock broke and the mist disappeared and he stopped. He let out a laugh with Nova who was looking at the broken Lubene with half open eyes.
"You did it! You found the way!" He exclaimed jumping up from his seat and rushing towards her who was still in Edward's arms, unsensible.
He tore her away from Edward's arms and hugged her tightly while she let out a breathy laugh.
"You are a smartass" He whispered.
"I wanna sleep" She whispered and he laughed at her sleepy voice.
"Ofcourse–Do you have any vacant room?" He asked Luka who raised his eyebrows at the boy's tone.
"I think you will have to change your tone when you talk to me" He stated but this made Luke smirk.
"You know, if you piss me off I can send you to Antarctica with a snap of my fingers, so...... don't test me" Luka scoffed at his threat just to hide the nervousness in his voice.
"Just ask the receptionist" He rolled his eyes but Luke saw behind his facade was a man who was scared of people like him and Nova, he couldn't help but smirk.
"I will take her, you. Leave" Edward ordered looking at Nova who has passed out in Luke's arm. The rage inside him continued to build while seeing Luke's arms around Nova. The fact that she trusted him to fall unconcious in his arms didn't went well with Edward.
For him she is only his and he can only hold her like the way Luke is holding her. The sorcerer had his mind closed so it was impossible for Edward to know his intensions but Nova's mind was open, inviting him in.
"And why would I do that? For all I know you are siding with Adelard" Luke raised his eyebrows and tightened his grip around Nova which ofcourse didn't went unnoticed by Edward.
"I am a fucking vampire and I can easily snap you neck and you won't be able to bat you eyelash, so I suggest you to give her to me and go away" The Cullens looked at him in utter disbelief, he has never once cursed and the fact that he just did and threatened a human was beyond surprising for them.
"Oh really? I would love to see you try" Luke challenged him and they both were ready to pounce on each other before a soft voice interrupted them.
"You both touch each other and I will personally kill both of you" Nova's voice filled the hall and she opened her drowsy eyes.
"I don't have any kind of attraction to both of you what so ever. So it will be very easy for me to kill both of you. Don't test my patience" She said blinking back her sleep as she tried to stand up.
Her legs were a little wobbly but nothing she couldn't handle. But as soon as she staggered Luke's arm caged her and Edward was besides her in a milisecond.
She stopped mid way, swatted Luke's arm and her eyes clashed with Rosalie who had a smirk on her face. She rolled her eyes and turned to face both the boys.
"Away, from me" She said and they both took a step back.
"Open the portal, I'm going back and you–" she pointed her finger at Luka "–whenever you want to discuss about this will be great and once the machines are complete I'll treat you sister" She said and saw Luka's eyes twitch.
He doesn't have any experience in getting ordered around and today he has been ordered way more times.
"C'mon, let's go" She said, taking Luke's hand and going through the portal, not having the guts to look back at Edward.
"What was that?" Rosalie said when no one uttered a word.
"I got fucked" Luka said knowing what he is getting himself into.
Edward on the other hand was boiling with anger, his eyes had turned midnight black, like he just spotted his predator and without warning his hand went through the wall he was near making everyone jump.
!Nova's POV!
I wanted to be there for more time but the sudden realisation hit me and I came rushing back to NYC. I couldn't be there, I was getting attracted to both, Edward and Luke and I can't handle that.
For all I know, I'll die at the end and I would not like to die with a tag of a whore on my head. I have a respect and reputation in NYC and Forks and I would do anything to protect it.
"Nova?" I heard someone knock my room's door, Luke and I directly entered my room and after making sure I was fine, he went to god knows where.
"Yea?" I said, sitting on my bed and trying to look as good as I can.
Wanda entered my room and I was shocked to see her state.
I've been very distant with avengers for the past few days and I guess they have also noticed it.
"Hey wanda....... you alright?" I asked looking at the prominent bags under her eyes and her face full of tiredness.
"Yeah, are you?" Well, my assumtion was correct they did noticed me being distant. It's kind of funny how I just forget about everything and focus on one thing, but the conclusion is...... We found a way to finish Adelard.
I just have to find the sword.
"Yeah, I'm perfect, is something wrong?" The lie escaped my lips fluently. I'm just so good at this, no one can even suspect a thing, my smirk grew inwardly.
"Listen...." She came towards me and sat next to me on my bed, her body facing me as I also faced her.
She had a serious look plastered as she held both of my hands in her own, now if I am not alert enough she can easily get into my mind and ofcourse I can't afford any bumps in the plan now.
"We are here for you always, you just have to trust us, we will never break your trust, Nova" It hurts to hear her so closed off but she is also right in her place, she or anyone for that matter doesn't know what I am up to and after the piece of information I got from Siria, it would be stupid to tell them anything.
"I know, are you sure everything is alright?" I asked acting concerned but again I have an assumption that she knows something, something that might be an obstacle in my plan.
"Yes, e—" A bang made me jump as I turned to look towards the door of my room to see Tony standing there with an irritating look plastered on his face.
"Enough, this will not get us anywhere" He made eye contact with my and his eyes were hard and that made me gulp unconsciously, there is going to be a big drama.
"We have photos of you going out of the tower and to some stupid cafe and a video clip of you getting out, panting like an animal. We know you are upto something and you better open you mouth, kid" my eyebrows shot at his tone and how he talked to me, I can feel it.
I am in deep shit.

She finally found a way to kill that fucker, Adelard..... but now Tony knows something is going on.
Do you think she can get away from that genius or will she blow up her ultimate plan???
I know this update will be late and I am so sorry for that and maybe some of you will have to read it from starting just to remember what the hell was going on in this book, tbh, I also sometimes have to read some part of the book cause I'm so fucking confused with all of this.
