"We got here a bit early, you can stay inside if you're tired," Laotian suggested after checking his expensive wristwatch. Since there was surprisingly no traffic jam earlier, they arrived at Luangmin's academy a bit earlier. They already got out of the car and waited for the students to finish their club activities but knowing that it will still take a while, Laotian was worried Daniel would get tired from standing for too long. After all, his stomach is already bulging heavily and that takes quite a toll on his body.
"It's okay. I want to see Minmin's surprised expression when he sees me from afar," Daniel replied with a chuckle. Although his stomach was indeed heavy for an Omega baby, that doesn't mean he can't handle it for a couple of minutes. Besides, he'd only get bored inside.
"Hmm, okay if that's what you want..." Laotian nodded. It seemed like he still have a lot more to say but his words cut off making Daniel glance at the Alpha. There was a brief moment of silence as if the Alpha was contemplating but he later looked at the curious Daniel and smiled.
"Can I offer you help then? I'll do that again while we wait," Laotian offered. He was talking about that thing when he stands behind the Omega and then he would carefully lift his stomach for him. Daniel love that lot ever since he started doing it when he was pregnant with Elijah. Since pregnancy had been taking a toll on his body starting at that time, he constantly began feeling tired and weak so Laotian being that he is, he always strives to find ways to make things a little bit better for his wife. And thus, he discovered that he could actually help Daniel carry their child in this way.
"Really? Would you do that for me Laotian? People are watching though," Daniel replied enthusiastically before looking around. They usually do that kind of thing at home since that's like a bonding time for the both of them but since they are outside, he thought people would look at them if they did that. Since other students also have someone waiting for them until they finish club activities, there were actually a lot of people at this time by the academy. The only difference was that people don't really pay attention to them that much compared to when they're in public like the mall or park. Since the people attending Luangmin's academy are majority coming from the wealthiest in the country, they don't usually flock like common people. The best they would do would be stare and that's all. They won't be mobbed or filmed.
"I don't mind. As long as I can help you," Laotian said with another smile, making Daniel smile even more and chirped "Okay."
Quickly walking in front of the Alpha, Daniel comfortably leaned against Laotian. It didn't take long for Laotian as well to lean down a little and wrap his arms around his wife and soon intertwined his fingers and began to slowly and carefully lift Daniel's stomach.
"Hmmn..." Daniel moaned comfortably as the weight of his stomach lessened. He really likes it a lot and he always asked Laotian to do it all the time when he had a chance especially when his back begins to hurt. He does love his children and he's excited to meet the first and last Omega in their family, but he won't lie about not getting tired. Elijah just turned one year and 4 months old and now they have another baby coming, he knew he'd get tired even more once the baby was out.
"Is it comfortable?" Laotian asked dotingly, putting his chin over Daniel's shoulder.
"Yeah, thanks Laotian," Daniel replied, lifting his arm so he could brush his husband's hair while they swayed softly along with the rhythm that only them could hear.
They were in their own little world and as expected, as they were doing all this, their image was like a scene straight out of a movie. Since both Daniel and Laotian as extremely beautiful individuals, people just simply couldn't take away their eyes off them especially when they act so affectionately towards each other. Even if it is no secret that the couple has a very good relationship, people still couldn't believe it was that good because even though it was morally wrong, given that he is a dominant Alpha, it's quite common for Laotian's background to have at least one or two more mistresses aside from his wife.
"Laotian, do you think Minmin would get surprised?" Daniel asked happily, suddenly in an even better mood because their position was so comfortable.
"Of course, you know that child loves you the most," Laotian responded like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "And he wouldn't expect you out of the hospital today so he'll definitely come running once he recognizes you from afar," Laotian added. It's no secret that Daniel spoiled their eldest son the most because he was a good and obedient child but after Elijah had been born and now getting pregnant again, he had not been able to go and pick up Luangmin that often from school anymore like when he was way younger. So obviously, if the child saw them outside waiting, he'd definitely be thrilled. Laotian could even already imagine the 8-year-old boy panting with a huge surprised smile on his face.
"*giggles* Well, I know he'd be thrilled but I bet he'd be more worried that I'm out of the hospital," Daniel mentioned since aside from his husband, he also has Luangmin constantly being worried for him for just about anything that he does. This started happening after the child witnessed him being in pain when he was pregnant with the twins but Laotian also had a huge part in this because he had completely brainwashed him into being the second him who would make sure Daniel wouldn't do anything stupid while the husband is out for work. And since he had already seen Daniel being in discomfort recently because of the contraction of his inner muscles, he was one of the people who insisted the Omega should go to the hospital.
"Hmm... and speaking of," Laotian agreed with a chuckle before he informed seeing their eldest son's familiar figure from afar. And just like they had expected, as soon as the little boy saw them, he froze for a bit and quickly rushed towards them leaving his friends from the club. Daniel watched Minmin run towards him in a hurry and he chuckled because as always, Luangmin was such a handsome and adorable child.
"Okay, I'll do this again to you later," gently letting go of his wife's stomach, Laotian kissed his temples and said to which Daniel responded with a willing nod.
"Mommy! Why are you here?" Luangmin asked in surprise before he hugged Daniel's torso along with his protruding belly. He was still panting from his run and was obvious how happy he was to see Daniel despite his worry.
"I'm here to pick you up and surprise you. Don't you want me here?" Daniel replied as he pouted, messing with Luangmin soft locks of raven hair.
"It's not like that... I'm just worried for Mommy. I thought you were in the hospital with Daddy," Luangmin clarified, rubbing his face against Daniel's stomach making the Omega chuckle.
"Your Daddy and I indeed came from the hospital but you know that your Uncle Luu and Ian are having a party tonight for your new sister, right? Mommy feels lonely that we couldn't go so I asked your Daddy if we can go for a short while and he said okay, hehe," Daniel explained while smiling. He knew he was being naughty knowing that there was no way Laotian would say no to him so he took that as his advantage. Luangmin absolutely knew this as well so he quickly glanced at his father with knowing eyes which the Alpha immediately avoided but thankfully, the 8-year-old didn't say anything and instead nodded as if he just gave up whatever was in his mind.
"Fine. I'm happy to see Mommy here anyway," Luangmin voiced out in defeat before he finally pulled away from hugging Daniel.
"Really? I'm glad you're happy but we need to go now. You still have to dress nicely and we'll surprise everyone with our arrival later," Daniel said excitedly. Since the twins didn't know he was going in the end, he knew the two would be happy and at the same time upset because they didn't tell them but he'll think about how to deal with the twins' reactions later.
"Hmm yeah, okay Mommy."

Seven in the evening, almost everyone on the guest list had already arrived at Mo Hanlu's Private Residence. But since even though the party was supposedly just for close friends and family, more than fifty individuals attended the event. The entry of a few individuals that weren't on the list wasn't too strict but they are asked to write their names and show their IDs first for a quick background check. Aside from that, so far the event was rather lively.
"Everyone's so lively, I feel bad that my Daniel couldn't be here with us," Diane mentioned suddenly. She was talking with Laura as always while their husbands talk to other people and knowing that Daniel love family gatherings a lot, Diane knew Daniel too would have loved to come tonight. Unfortunately, he had to stay in the hospital from today on.
"I know right? I wanted to invite him earlier but I didn't want to make him feel sad because he couldn't come over. After all, it's his well-being that is most important," Laura said with a sigh. It's not like she could ask Hanlu and Ian to delay the party as well since that would be unfair to them. This is to celebrate their second child's birth, it would be selfish to demand anything from them and rob them of their right to be happy. Daniel also knew this but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't get sad. So now, they can only rely on Laotian to make his wife feel better.
"Mom, have Luangmin not arrived? I can't start the party yet without him. Xiao Zi and Fyre too, they're not here yet. Is that brat keeping his partner all to himself again!" Hanlu said impatiently as he approached Diane and Laura. He was already itching to tell everyone about his daughter but he can't tell that yet without Luangmin because he wanted all the children in the family with his daughter. And the pictures too, Luangmin can't be missing. Tian Zi could be missing but absolutely not Luangmin especially when he's planning to constantly take pictures of the children until they grow up into an adult.
"Relax. I just received a call from his driver and they just got caught in traffic," Laura said, calming Hanlu down. There was no doubt he was excited with the announcement and all but somehow he's been on the edge as well for some reason and Laura couldn't help but notice that.
"Anyway, why are you so edgy all of a sudden?"
"What!? No, I'm not, anyway I'm going. Let me know when Luangmin arrives," Hanlu denied but seeing where his eyes were looking and Laura following it, she sighed shaking her head. No wonder Hanlu was being so irritable. Since today's party was a gathering for friends and family, Ian being that he did not have a family member, it was inevitable that he'd invite everyone from his work considering that he was planning to retire soon. Hanlu must have been quite upset because apparently, this young colleague named Grey was being so close to Ian and had been talking to him since the moment he arrived. And Hanlu couldn't even pull Ian away from talking to his coworkers so the only option he must have thought was to finally announce Elizanie's birth. That way he'd have a valid excuse to snatch his wife away from the man.
"*Sigh* So immature," Laura sighed, massaging his temples. Diane on the other hand who was listening all this time, chuckled and quickly cheered up her friend.
