"Joonie~" Jin whined in discomfort, once Namjoon had carefully settled him down on the front seat of his car.

"What is it?" Namjoon asked softly, holding the door he was just about to close.

"Feel cold." Jin shivered as he hugged himself, pulling his legs over the seat and to his chest, trying to get warm.

Namjoon immediately took off his warm leather jacket, draping it around the older's shoulders. His clothing was extra large in size and engulfed Jin completely. Namjoon cooed as he watched the dark haired snuggle to the seat, feeling safe and warm as he was surrounded by Namjoon's cologne.

The purple-haired helped Jin put on the seatbelt before shutting the door, walking over to the other side and getting onto the driver's seat, closing the door after him gently, not wanting to startle the boy next to him. He started the car, and moments later, they were on their way to Namjoon's house.

As Namjoon concentrated on the empty road before them- the time being past midnight- he could make out Jin watching him by the corner of his eyes, his legs still pinned to his chest, looking way too adorable having Namjoon's jacket wrapped around him like a blanket.

"Oh, Joonie!" Jin said suddenly, his eyes wide as if with realization. "I didn't tell you my last and biggest secret!"

Honestly, Namjoon had forgotten all about it, being too worried about Jin at that moment. Plus, the older wasn't in his right mind at that moment, so he didn't push him to tell him everything.

"You don't have to, my prince," he assured him with a sweet dimpled smile. "Don't force yourself."

"But- but, you're the best friend I ever had!" Jin confessed, his bottom lip jutting out. "And I don't want to keep anything hidden from you! I'm scared you'd h-hate me if you knew, but you promised to not be angry with me, right?"

As Jin went on and on about how much Namjoon meant to him, the latter couldn't help but feel his heart skip a beat when he realized how much Jin trusted him. And he could never dream of breaking that trust. But, why did he trust him so much?

"Then tell me one thing," Namjoon spoke seriously, his eyes still on the road. "Why do you wanna tell me something you've never even told your friends of years? We only started talking two months ago."

"Joonie understands me more than Hoba, or Kookie or Minie and the others," Jin spoke in a 'duh' tone, and Namjoon couldn't help but smile at how confident he sounded even when drunk. "Don't... wanna bother them about me- but I like annoying you!"

Namjoon was flustered when Jin leaned over to squish his cheeks, giggling.

"You won't ever annoy me," he said truthfully, grinning. "I like talking to you about... anything. You're my best friend too. Doesn't matter if this offends Yoongi hyung."

"Joonie, d'you know- I wanted to hide things from you like the others," Jin blurted out, keeping an iron grip on Namjoon's hand. "But I wanna tell you sooooo bad! You make me feel safe~"

"Aww, does that mean the other boys scare you?" Namjoon teased, snickering as he took the road to the right.

Jin huffed, pouting even more as he punched Namjoon's thigh. "Why don't you understand?!" He whined. "You make me feel weird, Joonie. Like my heart's about to burst! I hate you for it but I like it too. You're different from everybody! I wanna stay close to you... but I'm scared you'll push me away if I keep secrets from you..."

Jin looked down at his lap, his head hanging forward, his bottom lip trembling.

"I told you before, and I'm telling you again, don't push yourself to tell me anything, hyung," Namjoon said gently, reaching out a hand to hold Jin's as he had the other on the steering wheel. "You don't have to tell me anything you don't want to. I can wait till you're comfortable enough to tell me."

"But Joonie~ I'm confo- compo- comfortable!" Jin argued, a childlike determination in his face as he continued to pout.

Namjoon had to bite back an amused laugh. "It's probably because you're drunk right now."

"What?" Jin looked offended at the very suggestion, though it was anything but untrue. "I-I'm not drunk!"

"Are you calling yourself sober?"

"Yes, I am, Joonie!" Jin huffed with a really anything-but-scary scowl on his face.

Namjoon chuckled as he shook his head. "Jin hyung would never call me 'Joonie' if he wasn't wasted enough to spill the nickname."

"But that's what I call you in my head," Jin said indignantly, before throwing his arms around the younger, making him look at him.

Namjoon slammed on the brakes before the car could get out of control, making it come to a halt so suddenly that both of the boys could've hit the windshield if they'd not had put on their seatbelts.

Jin however was completely unaware about all this, too busy staring into Namjoon's soul, arms still around his shoulders.

"See? Do I look drunk?" Jin said in a voice confident of winning an argument, literally glaring as he tried to keep his eyes wide open.

Namjoon stared into the eyes that were bloodshot from his previous crying episode, but still beautiful even though slightly unfocused and cross-eyed from drunkenness. His dark eyebrows were furrowed and looked prominent behind the brown bangs covering his forehead.

Namjoon swallowed hard before breaking into a smile, adoring the way the other was trying to prove that he was sober though he wasn't. He wanted to kiss him so much right now...

However, he placed his hands on Jin's waist and pushed him carefully back onto his seat, saying with a smirk, "Okay, okay, I believe you. Now get some sleep while I drive us home. It's been a long night."

"But, Joonie~"

Namjoon sighed. "What is it?"

"I'm hungry," Jin informed with an innocent smile.

°°°♡ °°°

"Never have I ever had such a long night," Namjoon sighed, coming out of his bedroom's bathroom while rubbing off his wet hair with a towel.

After Jin had told him about being hungry two hours ago, Namjoon had driven them both to his house and carried the older inside, because he was incapable of walking on his own without almost falling over on his face.

He'd never looked after or handled a completely wasted person before, so he was unsure of what to do with Jin. He couldn't keep his gaze off of him even for a second, because who knew what he might do in a drunken state. It was like babysitting a cuddly but bratty toddler.

He didn't know how but he'd managed to get Jin to have some soup and drink some water though it was hard.

Jin was sleepy and had nearly dozed off while holding a spoonful of soup and snapping awake just before his head had dropped onto the table several times, spilling food all over his favourite black t-shirt. Namjoon had gulped thinking about how ballistic Jin would get when he'd wake up in the morning and see it.

Getting the older ready for bed was the hardest part.

It took Namjoon more than half an hour trying to help Jin, who couldn't stop talking about the extremely handsome guy looking back at him in the mirror, brush his teeth.

Since Jin was incapable of keeping his balance in his state, Namjoon had remained just on the other side of the drawn curtains around the bathtub, because he'd rather kill himself than leave him on his own.

What if he toppled over trying to get out of the tub once he was done showering? Nope. Namjoon wasn't gonna take the risk of that happening. Na-da.

Namjoon was a respectful person though. He'd kept his back turned to Jin the whole time he'd struggled to put clothes on. After about a few minutes, the dark-haired did manage to get into a large black shirt belonging to Namjoon that went over his knees, and navy blue sweatpants.

Namjoon had carried him bridal style to his bed after that and pulled the blankets over him, tucking him in and surrounding him with pillows, a habit of his to try to make the other comfortable as best as he could.

He'd made sure that Jin had drifted off before speeding into the bathroom himself, freshening up and getting ready for bed within five minutes in case something unexpected happened if he was away for too long.

But no. Nothing had happened. Jin was sprawled out on the bed, only his head visible from under the blankets and his right cheek squashed by the pillow while he hugged another tightly as he slept peacefully like an angel, lips slightly parted.

Namjoon put the towel aside, walking up to the side where he stood facing Jin's sleeping face, and knelt down so their faces were in the same level. He watched him snore quietly for a while, not realizing how creepy he looked.

A smile crept to the corners of his lips as he reached out a hand to stroke the hair falling over Jin's left cheek, partially hiding his eyes.

'You gave me a fucking hard time with your overloaded cuteness,' he thought fondly, brushing the hair out of Jin's face, tucking the stray locks behind his ear. 'Why is there so much sorrow in a beautiful person like you? What could've caused you to break like this?'

Namjoon's smile faded as a sad look replaced it. "I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything to protect you," he said sincerely, resting his hand on the other's cheek and drawing circles on it with his thumb.

His heart ached painfully as he recalled Jin crying uncontrollably in his arms, muttering about Chanyeol, whom Namjoon recognized as one of the popular ex students at their school. He wondered what'd happened between them, but he was sure the former was the reason Jin cried so much.

And it made him angry because he knew that he could do nothing about it, since he didn't even know how the two were related. He decided to ask Jin in the morning, of course making sure he didn't touch a sensitive spot.

"Sleep well," he whispered, his hand sliding down from Jin's face and slipping onto the blanket, pulling it further over the other's chin to make him feel warmer.

Namjoon got up to his feet slowly, turning around to leave, when something soft and warm wrapped around his wrist, holding him back.

He turned around to look at Jin, finding him holding onto his hand, peeking up at him sleepily through his long dark eyelashes. Namjoon swore he was close to having a heart attack at the sight before him.

"Stay," Jin insisted sweetly, letting go of Namjoon's hand and scooting to the other side of the bed to make space for the younger.

And who was Namjoon to refuse his request? He found himself smiling shyly as he lifted up the blanket and got into bed next to Jin, who watched him like he was a valuable gift. Once the grapehead lay there with the same blanket covering both of their bodies, facing Jin, the older immediately moved closer to him, finding the warmth radiating from him comforting.

Namjoon tried to catch onto what was happening, as Jin grinned up at him happily before snuggling up against his body, head resting right next to his heart, one delicate arm wrapped around his middle as the other was placed next to his own chest, eyes closing as he drifted off again.

Namjoon sighed, pulling the smaller male closer as he wrapped his much more muscular arms protectively around Jin's small waist, holding him in place as his soft breathing soothed him.

"Good night," he whispered in his ear though he wasn't sure if the other heard him, unable to resist placing a soft kiss on Jin's forehead, his heart fluttering as he did so, before closing his tired eyes as well, sleep taking over him easily.

°°°♡ °°°

"Aah, shit," Jin groaned, having woken up abruptly to his head pounding as if struck several times with a hammer, and a dry throat.

He tried to move but found a weight against his body, and arms wrapped around him. His eyes snapped open, drowsiness gone, panicking as he found the side his face being squished by a huge rock-hard chest. He looked up subconsciously and came face-to-face with a sleeping Namjoon squashing the life out of him in a tight hug.

Next moment, a piercing scream of shock was heard echoing throughout the whole house and the neighborhood probably, and a flock of birds left their homes in the trees of the garden, speeding off into the sky, chirping shrilly. The old lady next door peeked over her garden wall, grunting in disapproval.

"Humans." She shook her head before going back to taking care of her plants.

As for Namjoon, he'd woken up from Jin's scream, startled and worried, and in a reflex of trying to help him because he thought that he was in discomfort, the grapehead hugged him closer, only to find himself sprawled out on the ground the next moment after Jin had panicked and kicked him off the bed, his foot coming in contact with his stomach. Hard.

"Oww- w-what was that for," Namjoon gasped, tears of pain in his eyes as he curled up on the floor in a fetal position, clutching his stomach and groaning in pain.

"Be grateful that I didn't get you in the balls!" Jin shouted, panting, sitting up and immediately whimpering in pain himself as he massaged his head. "What... why the fuck was I sleeping with you?"

Namjoon looked up at him incredulously, having pushed himself up to sit on the floor with his legs crossed, hugging his stomach.

"You don't- remember?" He asked, frowning.

"Remember what?" Jin squinted at him, still holding his head in his hands.

"Last night," Namjoon's voice was quiet.

Jin felt panic rise in his chest. What was the other suggesting by 'last night'? They didn't... do it, right? No, his body didn't feel sore anywhere, though his stomach was churning and he was having the worst hangover ever. Then why the hell did he find himself in Namjoon's arms when he woke up?

"W-what happened last night?" He asked in a shaky voice, hoping that he didn't do anything stupid.

"You were completely wasted." Namjoon smiled softly. "And I, uh, took you home last night."

Jin took a second to have information sink in, and he remembered drinking too much. "Oh."

He then realized that the clothes he was wearing were too large. Definitely not his.

Namjoon saw him looking down at his clothes and spoke in a deep, reassuring voice, "I let you change yourself. I was there, but I didn't look. I swear," he added, as he noticed the flicker in Jin's expression.

"Oh."

A moment of silence followed by, with Namjoon watching Jin, who was staring down at his lap as he played with the overlong sleeves, eyebrows furrowed as his head hurt.

Seeing this, the younger of the two stood up, making the other look up at him.

"I'll go get you some water and painkillers," Namjoon informed, his voice so gentle that Jin got butterflies. "Lay back and rest, yeah?"

Jin nodded mutely and did as the other asked as he left the room. But not for long. A wave of nausea suddenly hit him and he quickly got up, lips pursed, and rushed to the bathroom. He collapsed onto the cold, dry bathroom floor in front of the toilet and bent over it, throwing up everything he ate and drank last night.

After he was done emptying all the contents of his stomach into the toilet, Jin fell back with tears in his eyes, taking a shuddering breath at the disgusting taste in his mouth, wiping his lips on his sleeve.

He weakly got up and flushed the toilet, feeling light-headed, and trudged over to brush his teeth, holding onto the wall for support. He locked the door and peeled off the soiled shirt, feeling extremely guilty since it was Namjoon's, and decided to wash it first.

He brushed his teeth with a spare toothbrush in the cabinet afterward before stripping off the sweatpants and stepping into the shower. He knew this place too well, having visited the house frequently with the other boys and often staying over.

He reluctantly felt that this place was better than his own house, not because of it's luxury, but the warmth and sense of comfort it gave off.

Feeling too dizzy to stand straight once he was under the shower, he rested his head against the wall and closed his eyes, feeling the shower of warm water soothe his stiff muscles and nerves, his skin wet from head to toe as he stayed like that, recollecting every incident he could remember from last night.

He remembered almost kissing Namjoon... talking with Chanyeol and Baekhyun and how it all ended in a disaster, leading him to drinking to forget it... he'd to rack his brains trying to remember what happened next.

All he remembered was that he was crying pathetically and stumbling upstairs somehow. Everything else was vague. He knew that there were people and music and noises but he could hardly remember anything. It was all a blur.

Jin sighed, tilting his head back so that his face was hit with water from the shower, trickling down his neck and naked body as he brushed his hair that stuck to his forehead back with his fingers. Trying even harder to remember.

Though he couldn't remember most of the things that happened, random words that had been said came slowly into his mind.

Like when Namjoon found him later and he cried in his arms...

"Ch-Chanyeol's b-being a big meanie to m-me! I-I said sorry again and again! H-he still w-won't forgive me!"

Jin opened his eyes, staring up at the ceiling with dread, arms crossed over his bare chest. He'd blurted out Chanyeol's name to Namjoon, someone he'd been both afraid of telling and wanting to tell about the whole incident for a while now...

He wanted to relieve the ugly secret off his chest whether Namjoon hated him for it or not. But this wasn't the way he was planning to tell the younger that he'd a connection with him...

Not only that, he remembered how sweetly and patiently Namjoon had spoken to him while he was drunk... how he tried to make him stop crying, and his gorgeous eyes...

"Your eyes make me want to know more, the mystery behind every sparkle, every little spark dancing in them. If anything makes the shining of these pretty eyes go away, I want to bring them back. Be the reason why they always glitter with happiness when they see me."

Jin felt his cheeks burn as he recalled Namjoon's deep but soft voice saying those words and he let out a quiet, flustered moan, feeling his racing heart gain speed with time.

"What are you doing to me, Namjoon-ah?" He whispered to himself as he bit back a smile.

"...Of course, I really like you. More than you'd ever do. Actually, I love you, sweetheart."

Jin covered his mouth to muffle a choked out squeal, and he had to hold onto the wall with his free hand on his heart, grabbing onto the place. For once he was able to ignore the painful throbbing of his head.

Just as he was trying to recover from the affect of the remembrance of the confession on him, there was a knock on the door from the other side.

"Jin hyung?" He heard Namjoon's voice just outside the bathroom. "Are you okay? I think I just heard your cry."

"I- yes," Jin forced out, trying to stay calm, his cheeks coated with a red blush. "I'm okay. I just nearly slipped is all."

"Oh." There was a pause. "Okay, then, please be careful."

"And what are you doing outside," Jin called, a smile tugging at his lips as he began to wash his shoulders. "Are you trying to peep, you pervert?" He joked.

Namjoon began to stammer at this accusation, and Jin grinned as he imagined the younger's flustered face just on the other side of the door.

"W-w-what?! Of- of course I'm n-not!" Namjoon spluttered, his usually husky voice pitched.

Jin's laughter echoed in the bathroom the next moment over the sound of water hitting the floor beneath his naked feet, but he stopped abruptly as the pounding of his head increased again just for a moment. It still hurt like a bitch though.

"I-I'll be leaving then," Namjoon said bashfully from the bedroom. "I left the water and pills on the nightstand. Can you help me in the kitchen afterwards? Just a little bit, since you don't look too good? I just don't wanna set the house on fire."

Jin smiled softly to himself. "Okay," he said with a giggle. "Now, shoo."

His heart fluttered as he heard Namjoon's rumbling chuckle. "Okay. Thanks, hyung. Bye."

Moments later, Jin heard the bedroom door outside close, indicating that the purple-haired boy had left.

A shy smile played on the older's lips as he leaned his head back again to feel the water spraying on his face, falling and sliding down his naked hourglass body, calming him with it's warmth, which was welcoming to his soft skin.

A soft giggle escaped his lips as he recalled Namjoon's reaction earlier. "He really likes me."
