You tried to hide the blissful sigh that left your mouth as you and Kazuha locked lips. The two of you were lying on her bed in her dorm, and she was hovering on top of you.
"Let's not get too carried away," You whispered, pulling away momentarily. "The girls might hear and know that I'm here."
Kazuha only smirked and dove forward.
You see, Kazuha is a member of a girl group called LE SSERAFIM, with her four other members, Eunchae, Yunjin, Chaewon, and Sakura. And none of them know that Kazuha likes girls, and none of them are aware of the fact that she's in a relationship. With you. The thing is, they know who you are, but they're all under the impression that you're simply Kazuha's cool friend from middle school who comes to visit her sometimes (which isn't entirely false). They don't know that you're frequently let into the dorm when nobody's looking, just because Kazuha wanted to cuddle, or she wanted kisses, or she simply missed you.
Essentially, the two of you were a secret, due to the fact that you wanted to be, because you had a fear of ruining her relationship with the girls, and her career. A secret that Kazuha was about to expose if she doesn't drop the mischievous act.
You had to press the back of your hand against your mouth when Kazuha dove down and pressed her lips against your neck, trailing open-mouthed kisses along your skin. Your body felt like it was on fire as your hands worked to pull her closer, making her chuckle.
Just as she was about to go lower, already starting to leave gentle kisses across your slightly exposed chest, the door abruptly swung open. When your brain processed that fact, you reflexively wrapped your arms around Kazuha's neck, pulled her body down so that it covered yours, and hid your face in the crook of her neck. You felt her grunt from the force, but she protectively wrapped an arm around your waist and stroked your sides as she looked up, meeting the eyes of two of her members, Eunchae and Yunjin. She knew how anxious you got when you even so much as thought about the members finding out.
"Eunchae... Yunjin-unnie." Kazuha mumbled.
Eunchae was covering her eyes with her hand, and Kazuha could see the bright red hue creeping up the maknae's neck, probably embarrassed that she had caught the two of you in the middle of something. Yunjin was simply shocked. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was slightly ajar.
It was only a few drawn out moments later when Eunchae finally removed her hand from her face and Yunjin spoke up. "Is that... Y/N?" She questioned, pointing at the two of you.
You began to tremble as Kazuha sighed. You squeaked, tears threatening to fall from your eyes when you felt Kazuha shift and pull away from you to meet your eyes. You could see the concern swimming deep in her sparkling brown eyes as she stared down at you, gently caressing your waist with her thumb.
"Baby. It's time they found out, yeah?" Was all she said to you.
You slowly nodded, reluctantly loosening your arms around her neck as she sat up and moved off of you. You carefully followed suit, sniffling quietly. Silent tears rolled down your cheeks as you and Kazuha both stood from the bed and faced Eunchae and Yunjin, who looked serious. You kept your head down, while Kazuha held hers high.
A big part of you was scared. Scared for what the girls' reactions will be to the news of you and Kazuha being together. For as long as you can remember, you've always been cautious when it came to your relationship with the younger, seeing as you have always been fearful of ruining her career and friendships. It's actually pretty odd to you; you're so scared of ruining things for her, yet you're still doing the very same things that you're scared are going to cause the ruin. You suppose that, in a way, this was you being selfish. It doesn't change the fact that you're scared, though. Beyond scared, maybe. All of that fear is being put in the spotlight at this very moment, too.
Meanwhile, Kazuha, although she was experiencing a small amount of an anxious feeling when she thought about the fact that your relationship was now out in the open, she was more overcome with acceptance. She's always been aware of the fact that one day, the two of you would either be found out, or you would tell everyone, she just didn't know which would come first. Until now, obviously. And she honestly isn't too nervous about this. I mean, she's serious about you, more serious than she's ever been about anything, and she's willing to fight for you and your relationship. And much to your dislike, she once said that she was even willing to leave the group if it meant she could still hold you, to which you made her promise to you that she would never actually do it. So, yeah, she's pretty confident when it comes to your relationship, so she's more than willing to be the one to speak up and reveal your secret so that you don't have to.
"We should all probably have a talk. Me and Y/N have some things to tell you guys." Kazuha broke the silence as she spoke in a firm voice. She had a comforting arm around your waist as the two of you stood side-by-side, facing Eunchae and Yunjin, who were nodding in unison in the doorway.
Eunchae spoke up, "Okay. The unnies and I will meet you two in the living room in twenty minutes. We'll let the two of you talk first." She said.
You timidly lifted your head to look at them, feeling slightly startled when you accidentally made eye contact with Yunjin. For whatever reason, you couldn't look away. Her eyes held a certain comfort in them. It almost gave you assurance that things were going to be fine. Even more so when you noticed the subtle nod she gave you, accompanied by a soft smile. Eunchae offered you and Kazuha a similar smile. Then the two of them turned and walked off, Yunjin soundlessly closing the door after them.
When the two of you were finally alone, after a few beats of silence, you lifted your arms. Your fingers quickly found themselves tangled up in your hair as you crouched down to the floor, a panicked expression taking over your face. Kazuha was immediately by your side.
"Babe," She mumbled sympathetically. She sat down beside you and pulled you into her side, leaning the both of you back so that your backs were resting against the bed frame. She kept her arm around your shoulder and used her other hand to rub your knee.
"Zuha- Zuha, they know! God, I was so stupid for coming here. Fuck! Idiot, idiot, idiot." You mumbled, lightly hitting your head with the heel of your palm. You turned to face her as you spoke. "What if- What if this ruins your relationship with the girls? You all are so close, I don't want to be the thing that comes in between all of that! M-Maybe we should break-"
Before you could finish your sentence, Kazuha interjected.
"Be quiet!"
Silence followed. But only for a few moments. After a few short moments of silence, Kazuha leaned forward and embraced you, squeezing you tightly.
"Don't say things like that, Y/N. Breaking up isn't always the answer to these scenarios that you have, you know? I don't think breaking up with you if the girls unfriended me would make things better; if anything, I think it would make me even more upset because, on top of losing four people who're important to me, I'd be losing another person who's equally as important, if not a teensy bit more. So don't say such things, okay?" She asked.
Her voice sounded almost like she was pleading. It made you feel bad for always saying that if bad things were to happen, such as the girls distancing themselves from Kazuha because of your relationship, or her fans eventually finiding out and hating her for it, the two of you should split or take a break. It's just that the mere thought of those situations, situations of Kazuha's downfall and misfortune that happened because of you, sent you into a panic, one that always led your brain to think that there was only that one solution. Although you're now starting to see that maybe that's not the case.
You hugged her back just as tightly, pressing your head against hers. You kissed her cheek. "I'm sorry, Zuha. I really am. I don't mean to make you upset, you know I would never do that on purpose. It's just... I can't help but think that, if I were to actually cause you such a misfortune, the best way to fix it would be to remove myself. I always think to myself that if the girls distanced themselves from you, if I were to break up with you and disappear from your life completely, maybe they'd come back to you. If your fans hated on you or started to send you death threats and things of the sort because they found out about me, I would think that the only way to fix it would be by breaking up and leaving you completely, and maybe then, fans would be nicer to you.
"It's you. You're always on my mind, and I can't help but want to always help you in any way that I can; if I'm able to, I want to make things better and easier for you. And my dumb brain can't help but think that that's the only solution. I guess I never really put much thought into how you would feel if I broke up with you... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you, I promise I didn't have any negative intentions. Mian."
It was silent for the next few moments as the both of you basked in the comfort of each other's arms.
"I love you." Kazuha's voice was silvery in your ear, like a soft melody breaking the silence.
You lifted your head to press a kiss against her her hair. "I love you too."
"Are you ready to go out now? Let 'em know the truth?" Kazuha asked quietly.
You sucked in a sharp breath, before nodding your head and squeezing her one last time. The two of you separated, but as soon as you were up and on your feet, you were immediately hand-in-hand as you faced the door.
It was now or never.

"What is it that you two need to tell us? Are you both okay?" Chaewon asked.
Chaewon and the others were sitting on the couch, while you and Kazuha were sitting together on the loveseat.
A few minutes ago, after you managed to work up some courage (with the help of Kazuha's understanding and patience), you and Kazuha left her bedroom to meet the girls out in the living room, where they were all chatting amongst themselves while they patiently waited for you. You couldn't help but feel your heart warm when you saw the warm smiles on their faces as they greeted you; they didn't even question how or why you were there, they just went with it.
Their smiles and welcoming atmosphere did little to calm you down, though. Because a whole bunch of what ifs were running through your brain at a mile a minute.
The girls seem happy and calm now, but what if you tell them the news and they completely change and turn their backs on Kazuha? Deep down, you knew that the bond that the girls share with each other most likely couldn't be broken simply because of this, but you couldn't help it. Or, what if, after telling the girls, somehow the media finds out about this and some of Kazuha's fans hate on her and give her a hard time? You were aware that the good outweighs the bad in most cases, but just the thought of that not being the case made you feel sick to your stomach.
After Chaewon asked her questions, Kazuha looked over at you, wordlessly taking your hand in hers and giving it a reassuring squeeze, which brought you back into reality. You bit your lip and sighed softly.
Sakura spoke up this time, "You two can tell us anything, we promise. We're a family, remember, Zuha? And you too, Y/N. You're our friend-you can trust us." Her voice was soft and gentle, almost like it was coaxing you into spilling the beans.
And so you did.
"Kazuha and I are..." You held your breath. Everyone else held theirs as they gave you time to get it out.
"We're- We're together."
A long, drawn-out silence ensued. Eunchae and Yunjin simply nodded with smiles on their faces, not too surprised after they walked in on you and Kazuha, but Chaewon and Sakura were giving you both a blank stare. You heart really couldn't tell if that was good or bad, but your head automatically assumed that it was the latter option.
You immediately went into action and bowed your head, letting go of Kazuha's hand to place them both on your knees and you straightened your back.
"I'm really sorry. I understand if you want me to leave, I'll-"
"We already knew."
Your head snapped up to look at Chaewon, while Kazuha averted her gaze from you to her as well.
"You- You all already knew?" Kazuha asked, an incredulous look on her face. Her voice was laced with confusion and disbelief as she turned her head to look back at you, once again reaching out and grabbing your hand, firmly interlocking hers with yours. You looked back at her with an expression mirroring hers.
"Of course," Yunjin started. "We've all known for a long time, and we've shipped you two so damn hard!" She nearly squealed after her sentence, but she opted on smiling and quietly clapping her hands instead.
"If you all knew, then how come you never brought it up?" Kazuha asked again.
Eunchae raised her hand, "Oh, trust me, I wanted to bring it up very badly, but the unnies decided that they wanted to give you two your privacy and time to work out on your own when you wanted to tell us. They wanted you guys to come to us, not the other way around." She explained.
"And Y/nnie," Sakura called out as she stood from her seat on the couch. She walked forward and crouched down in front of you. Kazuha let go of your hand as Sakura took both of yours into her own, gently stroking your knuckles with her thumb. "Please don't apologize. Chaewon and I are sorry if our initial reactions gave you the impression that we were upset or mad about this news. We're not. We promise. In fact, we're all really happy about this. Kazuha looks so much brighter and happy lately, and so do you, and that makes all of us happy as well." She smiled softly at you.
Your bottom lip trembled as tears brimmed your eyes. You removed one of your hands from hers to cover your face, which was beginning to turn red. You felt a hand rubbing your back, presumably Kazuha's, while Sakura let go of your hand. She sat up on her knees and wrapped her arms around your small figure, pushing your head down to rest in the crook of her neck as you wept.
You felt overwhelmed by the simple fact that the girls weren't mad. Nobody was mad at you, at Kazuha, or at the both of you. You couldn't be happier. That was your one biggest fear when it came to your relationship with Kazuha, so to know that it wasn't playing out in reality had you over the moon.
Sakura gently shushed you as she patted your head. "It's okay. No need to cry. We've got you. We're all fine with the two of you being together, and we always will be, nothing can change that. And if anybody tries to talk shit about the two of you, or any of my girls for that matter, just come to me, Unnie will handle it, okay?"
You nodded against her shoulder as you released a shaky breath. After a few minutes of comfort from Sakura, and encouraging words from the other members, you reluctanly pulled away from her. As soon as you did, a hand tilted your head to the right, and you were now facing Kazuha. You allowed her to wipe your tears using the sleeve of her sweater, while she smiled warmly at you. You noticed that her eyes were watery too. Your heart melted at the sight.
She pulled you closer until you were practically in her lap, and closed the distance between the two of you. She pressed her lips firmly against yours, pulling away only seconds later with a big smile on her face as she cupped your cheeks.
"I'm really proud of us, baby."
You giggled when you heard the girls squealing and yelling in the background, while Kazuha blushed and leaned forward to bury her face in your shoulder out of embarrassment. You simply patted her head and smiled.
"Me too."
