The night was dark, and outside the cool wind was blowing furiously. The empty space beside him slowly awakened him from his slumber, Sougo opens his eyes, rubbing his sleepiness away— he hears the soft sound of someone moving about.
"....You're going now? In the middle of the night?" Sougo scoffs in a low voice, making her stop in her tracks.
His tired red eyes scan the surroundings, until they fall on her figure. He wait to see if she would retreat back into the comfort of his arms— but she didn't.
"(Y/N), why don't you just tell him the truth?" Sougo sighs, sitting up— revealing his bare upper body, his lower half covered by the wrinkled sheets that was the result of their rough, nightly activities.
(Y/N) pursed her lips and sighed, her hair looking like the absolute mess it was. She keeps her back turned to him, refusing to meet his eyes.
"No, I can't." She says in a bitter voice, "I can never,"
".....—Ever tell Kamui about this."
Sougo clicks his tongue, hints of anger appearing on his face after hearing her resolved commitment to keep it still a secret.
"Fine," He huffed and lied back on the bed as if he didn't care about her. "Suit yourself,"

Sougo plopped his face down on the pillow, but then not even a second later he tilts his head to the side to watch her.
It was always like this— Sougo didn't even know how he felt about it, but one thing was sure: he didn't like it.
Every time she was on Earth, they would spend the night together— heated sessions all through out until they pass out from exhaustion. But her stamina was something else.
Sougo watched as she scrambled around, gathering her things and her clothes— his eyes following every single motion as if he was burning into his mind that moment to remember.
Now, Sougo himself hated being clingy— he felt disgusted when he thinks of himself feeling clingy to someone. But when it came to her— all rationality disappears.
Sougo bites his lower lip, his eyes narrowing and his eyebrows furrowing as he holds back from rushing up and grabbing her wrist.
He wanted to grab her, throw her back down on the bed and tire her out— so much as she doesn't even think of leaving as soon as they finish like she always does.
With a soft sigh, Sougo lets go of his thoughts. During the nights they spend together, Sougo only knew how to love her.
His eyes don't ever look away from her resolved figure— why couldn't she just stay with him even just for one night?
He hated it.
— because it made him question what he was to her,
Did she only like him for his body?
For his money?
His looks?
He didn't know— he didn't want to know. With a groan, Sougo hides his face on the pillow, not wanting to burden his mind any more.
"....(Y/N), just stay tonight— please,"
His voice had gone softer, more delicate and even— pitiful to hear. But she was already gone when he spoke those words.
— and once again, Sougo was left all alone.

Sougo was in a bad mood.
It had been 3 weeks since he had last seen (Y/N). Sure, he understood that she was a yato and that she was also a criminal meaning that she couldn't come see him as often as he'd like her to— but does that really matter?
So, all the weeks passed by with Sougo being put in a sour mood every single day when he wakes up. Even his murder attempts on Hijikata weren't cheering him up at this point.
Today, he was back at his usual rounds of patrol around Kabuki District. When all of a sudden, he spots a ruckus at one of the ramen shops nearby.
"Captain! I told you we should go now— Don't empty out their stocks!"
"...Abuto, you should just let him be. Kamui really won't listen,"
Just as Abuto, Kamui and (Y/N) were about to walk out of the shop— Sougo was passing by it. He instantly halts to a stop, his eyes locked on her figure—
And before he knew it, he had grabbed (Y/N)'s hand to stop her from moving farther away from him.
—But his actions made a certain vermillion haired yato stop in his tracks too,
"What the hell—" (Y/N)'s eyes widened in shock, but before she could even do anything Kamui was quicker to move.
"Who do you think you're touching?" The corners of Kamui's lips lift into a grin, as his hand gripped Sougo's wrist. "You dog,"
Sougo wasn't thinking clearly, the moment he saw her he moved instinctively— it was the result of not seeing her for weeks.
".....I have business with (Y/N), not you." Sougo merely spoke, not even turning to meet Kamui's eyes.
(Y/N) was watching the exchange between the two— studying their hostility to each other. So, she decided to step in before it could escalate to something even more drastic.
"You—!" (Y/N) pulls Kamui's hand away from Sougo and lightly pushes Sougo, "I don't want anything to do with you! So go on! Get lost!" She yells at him.
Sougo had knitted his eyebrows deeply at her actions— this was how far she was willing to go to keep their relationship under wraps? It made him angry just thinking about it.
"Kamui! I'll handle this myself!" (Y/N) turns to Kamui before placing a hand on Sougo's shoulder and drawing close to his ear.
"I'm sorry, I'll explain tomorrow— okay?" (Y/N) pleads in a soft voice before she hurls him right across the street with all her strength.
"— and don't touch me ever again!" She yells at him, before dragging Kamui away.
Sougo was speechless.
The duality of that woman was shocking— at nights they were together, she would scream his name with so much love and passion and yet during the day she would hurl him with her strength like a toy she was bored of playing with.
Call me in the morning to apologize

"I'm really sorry! Can you forgive me?"
Sougo gazed at (Y/N), who had broken through his window and was now kneeling on the ground with her hands stuck together.
"I just really don't want Kamui to find out— and actually! What if Kamui had just decided to fight you right then and there? I wouldn't want your pretty face to be injured and all—"
(Y/N) spewed out one lie after the other, all of them petty excuses as to why she acted like she did the previous time he saw her outside.
"...Will you forgive me now?....." (Y/N) pouted her lips, looking into Sougo's eyes, "Sougo?...."
Sougo had just been staring at her, wordlessly. Frankly, it scared her because he could be angry beyond words— but then again, angry Sougo was kind of hot too so she wasn't actually complaining.
Then, all of a sudden with one hand he grabs her arm and pulls her up to her feet.
"Sougo—?!"
But then he presses her against the wall and traps her lips with his. His kisses were feverish and addicting, she couldn't get away— and she actually liked it.
Dominant Sougo was amazing,
Sougo's hands were firmly placed on her waist, keeping her in place as he kissed her repeatedly. She couldn't even process her mind with how fast and aggresisve he was with his kisses, changing angles and all.
Having no other choice but to submit to him, (Y/N) began kissing him back— locking her hands around his neck. Sougo didn't say anything but continued to kiss her, trailing his hot lips from her jaw, to her neck and eventually going down.
When Sougo stopped, (Y/N) glanced at him.
Sougo had now pressed both his hands on the wall, beside her head. His red eyes were full of lust, his lips parted slightly— something seemed to be on his mind, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he just laid his head on her shoulder.
"....Sougo? Do you forgive me now?" She softly asked him, "You do know that kissing me like that doesn't automatically translate words for me, right?"
"I was hurt by what you did, (Y/N)." He suddenly spoke, "Don't do that again, I hate to think so much about why you want to keep our relationship a secret from that man."
"Sougo, I can explain everything— It's something I haven't told you yet becaus—"
She was cut off when Sougo carried her in his arms, " Save your words for tomorrow," He growls lowly, his eyes gleaming.
"I'm gonna punish you tonight, until you lose your voice screaming my name."
"S-Sougo!—" (Y/N) gasps, her cheeks turning red while Sougo placed her on the bed.
Surely, it was gonna be a long night for the two of them.
—But Bisha-chan wasn't gonna write about it, she promised never to write lemons/smut after all 😚 your imagination can do it~

(Y/N) woke up with her body sore, and the first thing that greeted her eyes was the view of Sougo admiring her.
Sometimes, she couldn't believe how handsome this man looked— was he even aware of the things he could do with his beauty?
Sougo brushed away a few lone strands of her hair away from her face, then he lightly places his thumb on her cheek— caressing it softly.
"Hey," (Y/N) pouted and grabbed his hand, "You don't get to act all mushy right now! My waist feels so sore! I don't even think I can move,"
Sougo chuckled softly, watching her frown at him as he breaks away from her hold and holds her hand in his.
"What? You're kidding, you have the stamina to keep going for more and more rounds, remember?" He teases her, massaging her hands softly.
"...and if I remember correctly, it wasn't me who embraced me so passionately last night— not wanting me to let go?"
"Stop it!!" (Y/N) cries out, feeling her cheeks go red. "Don't mention it anymore!"
Sougo only chuckles, his hands still gently massaging her hand with a fond look on his face.
He was so in love with her and he knew it.
Sougo gazed at her hands, calloused but soft to the touch— He wondered, how bloody these hands got in the battlefield, but they were so soft and helpless when held by his hands whenever they're on the bed.
Sougo smiles softly, lifting her hand to his lips before placing a soft kiss against her knuckles.
"Have you learned your lesson?" He cooes sweetly, such an innocent smile on his lips as if he wasn't such a beast last night.
"Yes! Yes, I did. So, do you forgive me?" She grins, nuzzling closer to him.
"Hm, I don't know...." Sougo hums, looking away. "As long as you promise not to do that again."
"I promise! Definitely! Absolutely promise!"
"But," Sougo suddenly questions her, "What's your relationship with him?"
(Y/N) freezes in her spot, not sure if it was the right time to answer him truthfully or for her to bolt out of there and disappear for a few weeks again.
"Well, it's a real interesting story...." She trails off, picking up her clothes casually.
"—That I'll tell you next time! Love you!" She yells before running out of the window.
Sougo didn't move from the bed and sighed, "Next time I'll definitely get her to tell me the truth."
—and make her tell that bastard that she was definitely Sougo's woman.

Sougo passes by a jewelry shop during his usual patrol and he stopped— this wasn't anything new, and he had passed by that shop numerous times.
But what caught his eyes was a glimmering ring that was up for display— and instantly, one thing had occupied his mind.
He wanted to make (Y/N) his wife.
No hesitations, no questions, no doubts— he wanted her and only her. He was locked in a trance the moment he saw the ring, and his mind went straight to imagining how good it would look on (Y/N)'s finger.
He thought it was the right time to propose to her— and make her his lawfully wedded-wife.
Sougo stood there for a while, contemplating on whether he should buy it immediately or wait— after all, he already knew her ring size. That was when he heard (Y/N)'s voice nearby.
Instantly, he snapped out of his trance and to where he heard her voice— he saw her walking with the umbrella high up her head, but this time she was with Kagura and not Kamui.
This puzzled Sougo even more, how did (Y/N) know Kagura? Was it because they were both Yatos?
"Ah! Wait, (Y/N)-nee—!" Kagura pauses to buy some food, and Sougo took this as an opportunity to pull (Y/N) to his side.
"How do you know that china girl?"
"Sougo!" (Y/N) greets Sougo with wide eyes, instantly her face shows panic as she looks around before turning back to Sougo.
"W-What are you doing here?" She asks him, but Sougo was firm in asking her.
"First, that Kamui guy and now the China girl— You still haven't told me how you know them, (Y/N)."
(Y/N) bites her lip, debating on whether she should come clean with the truth now or avoid it once more. Just then, an idea pops into her head.
"Listen, I have a mission that's gonna take a week— I'll tell you after I come back, okay? I promise, I'll tell you everything,"
"What?" Sougo frowns, "No, I'm not letting you go until you tell me everything—"
"(Y/N)-nee, where did you go?"
(Y/N) looks back and instantly goes into panic mode— fearing that Kagura might catch her with Sougo.
"See you next week, Sougo—!!" (Y/N) lightly pushes Sougo away from her and runs out to meet Kagura.
Once again, Sougo was abandoned.
Sougo watches (Y/N) and Kagura with a sour look on his face, he hated being abandoned by her like that.
"Hm," Sougo cups his chin in thought when his eyes met (Y/N)'s (E/C) ones.
Instantly, she makes a shooeing motion at him as if she was shooeing away a dog.
"I'll definitely punish her next time."
Blood on my shirt, rose in my hand

Sougo sighs softly as he swings his blade to whip away all the blood on it. He had just finished cleaning up all the assassins.
It was a total hell right now.
Not to mention, he hadn't seen (Y/N) in over a month now. A lot has happened in that month too, Kondo getting arrested, the Mimawarigumi joining the chaos, the Shogun, and a lot more.
Now, he was in a ship keeping the Princess safe when all of a sudden they were under attack.
Sougo frowns as he tucks in a lone rose he had picked up from a flower shop before they left— he was gonna give it to (Y/N). But with all the mess happening, he figured he should keep it safe till then, if not he could just buy a new one.
Sougo suddenly sensed something, and was just in time to stop a bullet aiming for the Princess with his sword. The sudden attack made the Princess fall down, while Sougo looked ahead to see his next opponent—
A familiar vermillion haired yato had come into view with his irritating grin.
"Try hitting here next time," Sougo tapped on his chest, "Take careful aim, 'cause if you miss you'll be the one with a hole on his chest."
Sougo was provoking Kamui, anyone could tell that. But even more than that, Sougo was dying to fight him— not to mention, (Y/N) was always by Kamui's side so where was she now?
Sougo couldn't even question Kamui before the yato leapt into action, they exhanged blows several times— Of course, Sougo knew he wouldn't be able to defeat a yato but buying time for the Princess to escape was what he needed to do.
After a few seconds of their fight, Sougo was getting increasingly exhausted and with his injuries adding up to that. More yato came down when a huge explosion occured, Kamui was clearly injured but still up to fight when she finally appeared.
"Sougo!"
When he heard that cry of hers, he sees (Y/N) standing in front of him in a protective stance.
"What the hell are you doing here, you idiot!" She yells at Sougo, holding back tears in her eyes when she saw that state he was in.
The yatos immediately hesitated when they saw (Y/N), while Abuto was still scolding Kamui's ears off.
"Who did this to you?! Oh my gosh, you're injured—!"
Sougo didn't say anything, but felt instant comfort when she cupped his cheeks and panicked over him. Sighing softly, Sougo leaned against (Y/N)'s shoulder— relaxing in her embrace, he closed his eyes. Even just a little bit of rest would restore his energy if he was with her.
"Nii-san, did you injure Sougo?!"
(Y/N)'s angry voice yells out at Kamui, and in that moment Sougo's eyes snapped open in shock.
"Nii-san?!"
"Sougo?!"
Kamui stuffed Abuto's mouth with something to shut him up while he went to where (Y/N) was cradling Sougo in her arms.
"Oi, (Y/N)—" Kamui looked stern, "What the hell did you call this dog?"
"(Y/N), I'm not hearing you right, aren't I? Did you call this self-proclaimed space criminal your brother?!"
(Y/N) angrily stood up to Kamui, "How could you hurt him this bad?! He's your future brother-in-law! You stupid idiot!"
(Y/N) was ignoring both Sougo and Kamui and had just focused on lecturing Kamui for what he did to Sougo.
"Look at me! I'm the injured one here!" Kamui defends himself, "Since when have you and this dog known each other? Is that why you snuck off somewhere whenever we were on earth?!"
"In the first place— Our orders are the shogun! Why did you have to go and drag Sougo into this?! (Y/N) yells at Kamui.
"....(Y/N), are you telling me—" Sougo glances at Kamui with a look of hesitance in his eyes, "This....this space criminal is your brother?"
(Y/N) turned to Sougo with a look of pity on her eyes, "I'm sorry, I was gonna tell you. Kamui is my twin brother, the punk's older by a minute."
"Oi! I never permitted you to go and date a human! A police dog at that one too!" Kamui yells at (Y/N), demanding answers, "When did you meet him?!"
"Ah, Kagura's our younger sister— I was gonna tell you, but I wanted to get everyone together first so that the first meeting will go smoothly..." (Y/N) pouts and looks down.
Truthfully, the reason she never told Sougo about her siblings was because she wanted to introduce them all at the same time so that the first impressions would be good,
But, (Y/N) didn't know that Kagura hated Sougo's guts, Kamui and Sougo are like cat and dog— Nevermind first impressions, it would be hard to introduce Sougo to her family now.
"You just had to go and ruin everything!" (Y/N) grits her teeth and yells at Kamui, "Listen! How dare you harm my Sougo, I'm not letting you off easy this time, Kamui!"
"—and who told you I'll allow you to see that dog again? Dream on!" Kamui yells back at her.
"Commander, (Y/N)-chan, we really don't have time for a family issue right now." Abuto sighs, "As much as I'd like to continue watching you all fight, I'm not willing to go down together with this ship. We need to retreat now,"
"Fine."
"Fine!"
(Y/N) and Kamui huff, while all the other yatos and Abuto begin to board the ship back. (Y/N) picks Sougo up and was about to go back when Kamui stopped her.
"Leave the dog behind,"
"As if!" She shakes her head, "If I'm leaving anyone behind, it's you Kamui! A little crash won't kill you!"
"I don't care, I don't want him with us!" Kamui scowls, "—and you're not gonna continue seeing him. Leave him to die! If he dies from a mere crash, he's not worthy of you."
"Agh, just stop it, will you?! You don't get to tell me who to love! I love Sougo and that's it! Now, you better be polite to your future brother-in-law!"
Kamui gasped, his ahoge began bouncing competitively.
"I'll be dead before I acknowledge him as my brother-in-law!"
"Then die right now!"
"No! He should die right now!" Kamui points to Sougo and (Y/N) grabs his finger and breaks it.
"Ah!"
"Blegh!"
(Y/N) stuck her tongue out at Kamui, before kicking him off the ship and towards where Abuto and the others where.
"Go away, you stupid brother." She sticks her tongue out arrogantly at Kamui.
"(Y/N)— I won't let you get away with this!!"
Never, never, never ever let go
"....Why didn't you tell me you had siblings?"
Sougo murmurs softly as he and (Y/N) began to find something that will help them survive the crashing ship.
"..I told you, I wanted to introduce you to them at the right time." She sighs, "I never would've guessed that you've already met them."
"...Not to break your expectations, but I'm not on good terms with neither your sister or brother."
"....No worries, we're a messed up family. But they'll soon come to admit it," She grins, "Those two won't listen to my dad, but they'll listen to me."
(Y/N) smiles at Sougo as she holds his hand in hers tightly, "So, Sougo— don't you ever let go of me, alright?"
Sougo glances at her and scoffs with a smile, holding her hand tighter.
"I'm not one to let go, so don't worry. I'll fight anyone and everyone for you,"
(BONUS: Yeah...this was so bad, I'm sorry....)
"I swear, (Y/N) has the worst taste in men!" Kamui curses, kicking the wall in anger. "How could she like that stupid policeman?!"
"...Captain, don't go breaking our ship now. I don't wanna go down yet," Abuto warns him but Kamui couldn't care less, right now all he cared about was separating Sougo from his little sister!
"I'm hungry, Abuto take my wallet and buy some food right now."
"....Captain, we're up in the air where will I buy food?" Abuto glances at Kamui's wallet, "Plus your wallet's empty, did you eat the cash too?"
"Empty?" Kamui furrowed his eyebrows, "I'm sure I had money— (Y/N)!!"
"(Y/N)-chan sure is in her rebellious phase...But isn't she a bit too old for that?"
On the other hand, Kagura suddenly got chills out of nowhere.
"....Why do I feel so disgusted," Kagura shakes her head, "I hope (Y/N)-nee is doing alright..."
Kagura will soon know what that ominous feeling was.
Meanwhile, (Y/N) and Sougo.....
The Princess has already disappeared from the ship with Gramps, (Y/N) began to look around for something to escape with until she found....
"...Was there really nothing else?" Sougo grumbled, holding on to (Y/N)'s leg while (Y/N) held on to the huge Elizabeth parachute.
"I swear, there was nothing else! I think someone left it there— But the design is cute anyways!" She giggled, while Sougo clung to her leg like a koala with a pout on his lips.
"...This totally makes me look uncool," Sougo whispers.
