This year Mahle and I were completing 2 years together and i couldnt be happier. We fought every now and then but nothing was ever too big for us, we overcame all obstacles together and grew stronger with every argument and disagreements. She was coming back next week Monday i couldnt wait to see her and to tell her the best news ever. It was a Friday and i had just left my sisters office, and headed to my job. When i got to the office I called my woman and she answered same time.
//Me: come back already

Me: Hi. I miss you
Her: I miss you too bhabha
Me: i dont buy that
Her: I wasnt selling it
Me: PE is making you silly
Her: hahahaha i got this from you

Her: hahaha you know i'm right. Like now i can tell you smiling and thinking how i know all of this as you bite your lower lip and chuckle in disbelief but not in a bad way but in that good way
Me: you must have planted a camera in my office, i dont trust you

Me: i still say theres a hidden cam around here
Her: and when would i have installed it?
Me: you and the gay receptionist are besties, you probably sent him to install it

After the call i was truly stunned at how well she knew me its like she spent her time studying my every move getting to know my every flaw and loving me as i was. This woman was Amazing and I loved her more than words. I decided to get back to work because thinking about her was only going to make me miserable.

After the call with Damon i headed downstairs to join my father who was sitting watching tv.
Me: hungry?
Him: are you offering to cook?
Me: no, I'm suggesting you take us out for Lunch
Him: i should have known
Me: oh come on daddy. Lets go its been too long dont you think
Him: bring me my shoes and my wallet
Me: yes sir
I went up to his room and took his shoes and wallet and gave them to him.
Him: thank you princess
Me: you welcome
We went to Greenacres and got lunch then went shopping with his credit card.
Him: you are trying to max my card out
Me: well its been too long since we did this
Him: and whats that? you finishing my money?
Me: no silly. Us bonding
Him: yeah well you have your new dad for that

Him: yeah
Me: dad come on dont be like that. You know that you are my father and you will always be my real father

Him: no buts. Your mom and I both agreed that when you get a place with a yard and a parking space then you will get a car

I was laughing uncotrollably

He finally let go of me. This man though. Why would he do this to me during the people. Eventually we went home and tomorrow i was going back to Mthatha and then from Mthatha i was going to go back to Durban on Monday.

A lot happened back in Cape Town on new year and i feel terrible for half of it. I really fucked up this time around and i have no idea how i'm going to face my friends when she's back. As of that day i vowed never to drink again EVER. We were in my room chatting with Sage.
Her: Aya whats wrong?
Me: nothing. Why?
Her: you've just been acting all weird and different and stuff lately
Me: argh its nothing my friend
Her: i'm not stupid
Me: i did something terrible Sage

My phone rang and it was Mahle, I hesitated to answer and Sage gave me a look so i took the call.

Her: could you sound more convincing please
Me: hahaha I miss you twin
Her: thats more like it
Me: uhhm. Hows PE?
Her: I went shopping with Dad today and he says we should get a bigger place with a secure fencing and secure Garage
Me: uhhm ok... Was that all?
Her: Friend whats going on?
Me: why's that?
Her: well in Cape Town you kinda avoided me the whole holiday and now everytime i call you, you ignore my calls. Did I do something?
Me: no. I havent been avoiding you. I've been answering your texts mos
Her: i didnt say texts, i said calls. Aya whats wrong?
Me: nothing friend. look i'm with Sage and we were in the middle of something, i'll call you back later on ok?

After the call Sage gave me that unbelieving look.
Me: what?
Her: you know i heard the whole conversation right?
Me: i need to turn the volume down i guess
Her: Aya whats really going on? Why would you act that cold to your "Twin" slash bestie
Me: Sage drop it will you. Its nothing
Her: fine, i'll drop it for now. Listen Sean just texted me saying he's having a braai, lets go
Me: whose going to be there?
Her: since when do you care who attends or not

Her: argh the usual people, well except Mahle who's in PE

Her: no not really. Get dressed
She left me looking for an outfit in my room and went to get dressed in hers. Sage came back with a car from home, it was a Golf Gti.
