I ended up in his bed again last night. I woke up in his bed this morning in nothing but his shirt, contemplating what happened and how I am going to get out of the hotel room without being seen.
I need to get out before I am caught, like it would be bad if I got caught. Like it would be absolutely terrible if I get caught. I don't want to get caught. That wouldn't be the best thing in the world if I did get caught, like it would be absolutely terrible if I did.
I grabbed my clothes quickly but quietly, I didn't want to wake him up. That would be the worst thing if I woke him up. I don't need that, he doesn't need to wake up. He shouldn't wake up. This has happened since high school, we need to stop it, but we never do.
I remember when it first happened between the two of us, when this situation started. I remember it like it was yesterday.
"I swear, if you scare me Nate I will murder you!" Which causes all of the boys to laugh, I was getting on one of the higher levels of the warehouse, the boys were doing their own thing.
"Please be careful Y/n!" Colby yells at me, which causes me to chuckle.
"I always am Colbs!" I yell back chuckling, which I heard him following me. "Colby don't push me or anything okay!"
"Okay I promise I won't!" He yells, which I just nod towards him.
We reached the top and I helped him up, which he tripped and we ended up being backed into the wall. With me being trapped between the wall and him. His right hand by my head, and his left hand placed on my hip. "Are... are you alright?" He asks, I quickly nod towards him. I didn't realize how quickly the two of us were breathing until, he moved slightly pulling me in closer towards him.
"Are you alright?" I ask back, he quickly mimics my movement and quickly nods back towards me. We haven't moved from this position, he hasn't moved his right hand. His left gripped my hip a little more. But I think that's for the fact so that I wouldn't have fallen.
There was something different, we've been in these situations countless times. The types that it could be romantic but this was Colby. A guy I have known since elementary school, but... now, it's different. It's like I want it to be in a romantic way, that I'm hoping he's looking at me in a romantic way. What pulled me out of my thoughts was him moving his right hand to grasp my face. "You... you can, if you want to Colby, I won't stop you." He nervously chuckled, and then he simply nodded.
Within the moment of me finishing my sentence, his lips were placed onto mine, and we quickly began to kiss the other. It didn't take that long for it to become a lot more heated between the two of us, he picked me up and pushed me into the wall. Never in my life would I imagine this is where Colby and I would be, I couldn't even imagine it.
"Colby! Y/n!" We both immediately stopped, and I jumped down stepping a few feet away from him.
"There you are! Why is your hair messed up?" Nate asks.
"I umm, tripped and it kinda messed it up. Did you guys find anything?" I ask, he nods towards me. I walk away from Colby, turning to look at him as he stands there in somewhat shock. I walked with Nate to find out what they found, and right before I turned the corner I look back at him as Sam is talking to him, but he's just staring at me.
From that moment on his and I's friendship was never the same, some would say that it was never platonic between the two of us, that him and I were never just friends. I never told anyone, and I'm pretty sure he told Sam, maybe. But we never told anyone what him and I were doing behind closed doors. All we had was secret glances and touches, stolen kisses, and the unsettling feeling of knowing we could get caught any second.
It slowly moved up to sex, it started with just make outs, other pleasuring things, and then when we were both 18 we had sex. Was it good? I mean it could have been better, but I felt safe because I was with Colby, the dude that I trust my life with.
We haven't been just friends since we were 17, we're always been more, since the minute we kissed that one time in the warehouse, that's when we became more than friends. I didn't ever tell anyone about what happened between the two of us or more like what is happening between the two of us.
I've been apart of the channel since the beginning, I filmed a lot for them. I helped them lot, they're my best friends. How do I always end up being in his bed, with him wrapped around me holding me like I'm the love of his life. I always leave every time, we only ever sleep at his house.
We're going to be going to the Shanley Hotel, or the idea of going is on the table. Because of Josh and our new friend Seth. Which Seth is a really cool dude, and Josh is a guy I've known for years he's a great guy as well.
My mind continues to wonder about what happened between Colby and I. The older we've gotten the more 'unplanned' things usually happen. I end up in his bed five times out of the seven days in the week. And sometimes I end up in his bed every single night, we sleep together quite often.
He grabs a hold of my hand, pulling me into his room. I knew immediately what was about to happen. When the door closed, he pushed me into it and kissed me. And we instantly start kissing each other. "Jump..." I quickly did, and he caught me, he started walking towards the bed, and I started kissing his neck, which caused him to quietly moan towards me.
"Y/n, you alright?" I pick up my head to Seth placing his hand on my shoulder, and I nodded towards him.
"Just thinking about some stuff... " I look over at Colby and see him slightly smirk, he knows I daydream a lot about him, but especially the day after. Because everything is fresh in my brain, and I like reliving those moments.
He'll probably make a comment to me later, but not currently now. I do like the comments, they turn me on a lot. Seth and I are usually the bait, because he's Seth and I'm an empath and I said I have a story about the Shanley once we arrive to the hotel. Which that story is about my great grandfather.
"Y/l/n, is that your last name?" Kelly asks, I nod towards her. "Like Bartholomew?" I nod towards her again.
"How do they know?" Colby asks.
"I'll explain now, my great grandfather, Bartholomew Y/l/n, he was a sheriff around this area. I was about seven when he passed away, but I remember him saying his proudest achievement was catching a serial killer named Adam who had killed over 100 different people. My mom and dad came here when I was younger, my dad looks a lot like my great grandfather, Adam got so violent with my dad he ended up in the hospital. Shortly after that, that's when my parents decided to move to Kansas, my dad doesn't talk about that night, and I was probably about nine when they went. As you guys know, I'm 22 now." I tell them, all of them look at me in complete shock.
"Y/n, you've never said that story!" Which I instantly start chuckling from Sam's comment.
"I fully didn't get the full story until about a year ago. Haunted, abandoned, everything like that runs in my blood. I've made countless videos myself explaining stuff, but I was telling Seth when the camera was off, I think something big is gonna happen tonight." I comment, which causes all of them to nod towards me.
I know Colby will pull me aside a little bit later and he'll say something. This might be a really rough night, but I'm not sure.
Colby's P.O.V.
I watch as Seth and Y/n walk off to investigate something that they both heard. There is some jealously, over the years feelings for her have become more and more. And I do like her, there are feelings for her. I mean I have been friends with her since we were ten, we've been sleeping together since we were 18, it does make sense why these feelings would emerge. I mean she's also an amazing girl, caring, loving, charming, she's everything that a man or woman could ask for. She's wonderful.
"Fuck!" I immediately started running turning the corner to being greeted by Y/n on the ground holding onto her wrist.
"What happened?!" I sat down on the floor next to Y/n beginning to examine her wrist.
"I'm alright, I just lost my balance and fell." She begins to stand up, and I quickly stand up after her. All of my worry is on her. She pulls me aside while the others are starting to get the other stuff set up. "Colby, stop worrying I am fine okay." I slowly nod.
"What if something is actually bad?" She lightly sighs and grabs a hold of my face, I grab a hold of her wrists and pull her slightly closer towards me.
"If something is bad or wrong, or whatever. We'll deal with it then, but right now I am alright. You're holding onto my wrist and I'm fine. Please don't worry about me, we have an investigation to do. We still have to go to Adam's room, please don't worry about me. If I start feeling pain I will let you know okay." I nod towards her.
"Can I kiss you?" I ask her quietly, she nods slowly towards me, and I lean in and kiss her real quickly. We shared a quick kiss, and then we moved apart and made our way back to the group.
That was the first time where a kiss didn't lead to my bedroom, I'm kinda conflicted on if she feels the same. I do think she does, but it always worried me. Sometimes I think it's just physical and then there are moments between the two of us where I do think it's also emotional for her as well.
I woke up to her laying on my chest, I tired not to move that much. I shifted, and she picked up her head lightly. "Sorry..." she begins to sit up, and I grab my shirt and hand it towards her. "Thank you." I give her a nod, and she puts it on.
We started chatting making light conversation with one another. She moved closer to me, and laid her head on my shoulder.
" We need to get ready." I nod towards her, I need to tell her how I feel.
"Y/n can I talk to you privately real quickly?" Scotty asks, she nods towards him. The two walk away, and we all look at each other oddly.
"Am I the only one who found that weird?" Josh asks, we all agree how it's slightly strange how he pulled her aside.
She came back and just grabbed a hold of my hand pulling me outside, which I heard Sam asking questions as he filmed. "Okay?" We walked down a little bit she sat down, and patted the seat next to her. "Y/n, talk to me what happened?" She looked at me while tears filled her eyes, she grabbed a hold of my hand and placed it in her lap.
"Adam got me, I have a very bad scratch on the back of my neck and down my spine. I can't do the room, I'm sorry, I need to stay out here for a little bit." I nod towards her. "And before you ask, Adam was cheering about it, that's why Scotty knew. Kelly checked it, she put a bandage on it. But I bled, he made me bleed. I know we were just talking this morning about how I'm mentally doing. This... this messed me up Colbs, this I can't even describe what's going on inside my head." I grabbed a hold of her pulling her into a hug and kissing her forehead.
"Take as much time as you need okay baby, we'll be inside okay?" I ask her, she slowly nods towards me. I get up and walk back inside, being faced with the boys. I explained some to them, and then we decided to take a break. Sam and I never want something to affect someone that badly, and this is Y/n we're talking about. This is a girl we both see as a best friend, I- well it's complicated but I have feelings for her.
She decided to stay in her room for the rest of the night, after we were done investigating I went to her room to check up on her, I slowly walked in to be greeted by her reading a book while on her bed. "Couldn't sleep?" She simply nodded towards me. I sat down by her, and she closed her book and moved closer to me. "Rest of it went really well, like really well. Wish you could have been there." She slightly smiles towards my comment, she's still shaken from it happening.
"Colby, I've been thinking a lot lately. And we need to talk about... about us. I need to get this out, before you say anything. I have feelings for you, and not just in a physical way, but in an emotional way as well. I do have more than just friends feelings for you. I like you, and I know we've had this agreement since we were 18, and I know you might not feel the same. But I don't want to hide anymore, I don't want to go behind my friends backs and lie to them about what's actually going on between the two of us." I looked at her in complete shock, those feelings are... she likes me?! "Colby, can you say something? The silence is kinda killing me." I looked at her and slowly nodded.
"I... I didn't expect that to be what you were going to say. I know you're wondering, and I feel the exact same way. I do, I like you more than a friend, and I've liked you like that for a while now. I just never had the courage to actually tell you how I felt. I truly didn't know if you felt the same way for me or not. But you... you truly are someone I would absolutely want to be in an actual relationship with." She smiles towards me and leans in and kisses me.
From that moment on our relationship became official, and there were obviously some downs but there were definitely more highs than lows, and I'm so thankful I am able to do this with Y/n, and I'm so glad she chose me.
