Virat was in a unusually happy mood today for no reason specifically.
After finishing his gym session at 8 pm, which he was late to due to some brand promotions. He was feeling fresh and energised.
He walked back into his room which was already open.
This now almost never came as a shock to him as there was always someone or the other in his room.
They seldom stayed like mere teammates in their alloted rooms, they were all scattered and sprawled across each other's bed and obviously no one cared.
He walked in to see a furious looking Rohit scanning something seriously on his laptop.
Vi- What are you doing? That's not how stalkers work you know.
He said suddenly startling Rohit who again started doing what he was, ignoring Virat completely.
Vi- Hello? Rohit? Dikh nahi raha kya mai?
Ro- Shut the fuck up.
He snapped.
Vi- Okay, someone seems really angry. What happened? Somebody told you that Jess is going to die in the book you're reading?
He laughed.
Rohit immediately got up angry and shocked,
Ro- WHATTTT! JESS DIES! I DONT WANT HER TO DIE! VIRAAATTTTT!!!
Vi- Okay okay sorry but what happened?
Ro- You! You traitor! You know I should really make a new best friend, you can happily leave the country then!
Vi- Okay I am getting nothing from this! What do you mean?
See you're visibly angry and I'm kinda scared of that so I'll leave that here but if you say something like making a new best friend again, I'll slap you!
He said from far away not wanting to mess with Rohit now.
Ro- What did you post?
He got up to face him immediately.
Vi- The test debut post?
He shrugged.
Ro- And?
Vi- And what?
Ro- And there was a screen where you had to enter some password and you did...
Vi- You know that's how you open things? You have to put in the password.
Ro- So that Abraham Benjamin de Villiers knows your password and I don't??
Vi- Ooh full naming! This is serious then.
He said finding it really funny.
Rohit moved even more angry when he laughed, he just picked up the book Virat had just ruined for him from the side table and threw it directly on his face.
Vi- Abee screw dheela hai kya? Marr jaunga na benstokes!
He screamed in horror.
Ro- Don't mess with me Virat Prem Kohli, I'll end you! Why does that south african know the password while I don't! Aisa kya chupake rakha hai?
Vi- I never said you can't go through my laptop but I am not telling you the password. He said smugly.
As soon as he turned around back towards Ro he saw him ready to throw a paper weight right at him.
Vi- Nai nai... Phekna nai! Rohit saale sahi mai marr jaunga phekna nahi!
He screamed immediately covering his face with a pillow.
Ro- Not tell me?
He asked again.
Vi- Let me complete... I will not tell you *covers his face with a pillow* but... You can guess! I'll see if you can till tonight, I'll tell you the number of characters and you tell me what it can be, how does that sound?
Ro- Ridiculous! I am not guessing! You're telling me!
Vi- Okay... I'll tell you that myself, I said that because AB happened to guess the password and that's how he knows but okay if you insist...
He said it softly deliberately.
Ro- How many letters is it? Do I have the entire evening?
He said rolling his eyes and giving in into his stupid plans.
Virat broke into a knowing sly smile.
Vi- It's 5 letters. You can have 10 tries now.
He said jumping on the bed.
Ro- okay, now get off my back!
He scoffed and walked off with his laptop.
He was in his room thinking what could be that 5 letter word.
Ro- Anushka and Vamika both have more than 5 letters.
He sat contemplating.
Ritika entered the room with Sammy planning to relax not knowing Rohit planned to not let her relax.
Ro- Rits! Quick! Tell me what could be Virat's password?
Rits- Me? Why?
She asked suddenly put in a spot.
Ro- Just say what you think!
Rits- Umm chole!
Rohit looked at her in disbelieve,
Ro- Chole is your guess? Really?
Rits- I am hungry!
She cried.
Rits- Okay try Cricket!
She said thoughtfully.
Ro- It should be Five lettered.
Ritika also sat to think about what it could be.
Sammy- Try dadda! D A D D A! It's 5 letters.
She said counting those letters on her small little fingers.
Ro- No baba, it can't be that.
He explained and she already forgot about it.
Rits- You should go talk to other guys if you want to.
She said wanting to get rid of him from the room so she could finally relax.
He called Jinks who was in India.
Jinks- What's up Ro? Kya hua?
Ro- Where are you roaming at this time?
He asked frowning on the road noise.
Jinks- You're in London Ro, it's 5:30 here.
He laughed.
Ro- Okay I don't wanna know! I have a important question.
Jinks- Okay, what?
Ro- What do you think Virat's laptop password is? 5 letters. What could it be?
Jinks- You're hacking into his laptop?
Ro- Shut up Ajju, Why would I hack into his laptop? He has told me to guess it, apparently AB knows and I don't so now I wanna guess it.
Jinks- So basically you're calling me for a stupid bet?
Ro- You're helping me or not?
Jinks- I don't know, 5 letters... Umm... Try Saroj, maybe it's his mother's name.
Ro- His mother's name has 5 letters but he once told me he would not, it would remind him of her too many times a day!
Jinks- Then I have nothing Ro! You've to figure it out yourself maybe.
Rohit groaned as he put the phone down!
He was walking back to his room where he spotted Jassi, Rishab and Jaddu talking.
Jaddu- Laptop leke kaha ghum raha hai?
He asked laughing.
Ro- I am trying to guess Virat's password.
He shrugged.
Jaddu- Tune Yuzi wale kaam shuru kar diye!
He said loudly.
Rohit shook his head and stood with them and explained the scenario.
Rish- Oooh! Bhaiya! Try Virat! V I R A T. It's 5 letters!
Ro- I know your Virat bhaiya is a child but he is not that dumb, he won't use Virat.
He said disappointed.
Jassi- bhaiya you could ask for a hint or something.
He suggested to which Rohit agreed.
Jaddu- Ro try Badal, B A D A L.
Ro- Badal? Why? What's badal?
Jaddu- WHAT'S BADAL!? Badal is my new horse! Technically a pony!
Ro- Why? Why would Virat have your horse's name as his password?
Jaddu- Because Badal is adorable! I'll tell you how he almost climbed a tree!
Rish- The horse climbed a tree?
Jaddu- Yes! He was so quick!
Rohit just exhaled knowing the conversation was lost, now it was only Jaddu and he absolutely bizarre stories.
Rohit walked in Virat's room planning to drop this challenge.
Vi- Aagaya vapis? Why're asking everyone? Just ask me, I'd have given you a hint.
Ro- Okay shoot, give me your stupid hint.
He said annoyed.
Vi- Try Panda.
He laughed as he said that.
Rohit immediately opened the laptop and typed panda in all sensible combinations of uppercase and lowercase letters.
Ro- Jhoote! You lied.
He yelled getting even more frustrated.
Vi- I didn't.
He said honestly.
Ro- I just tried it in front of you! How did it not open then?
He snapped.
Virat just laughed louder at his annoyance.
Virat walked past him to the washroom,
Vi- Try panda, my panda!
He laughed as he smacked Rohit's head randomly and walked in the washroom.
Rohit sat there rooted thinking what he just said when it hit him like a literal bulb moment.
Ro- oh... Ohh.... OHHH! R O H I T
Virat came out expecting Rohit to have figured it out hopefully.
Vi- So? Are you done?
He asked in mock concern.
Ro- Was it Rohit.
He said softly and slightly embarrassed.
Vi- Did the laptop open?
He asked sarcastically.
Ro- Yes.
Vi- Then yes, it is.
He laughed.
Rohit immediately got up to hug him.
Ro- This is the first time I am happy that AB guessed it faster than I did.
He said comically and they both burst out laughing.
They both settled down back on the bed tired with this guessing game,
Ro- You know, you could've just directly told me that.
Vi- Now where's the fun in that?
He said as a matter of fact.
Ro- How did AB even guess that.
He said in shock.
Vi- He immediately did it! His first guess was Rohit.
I was shocked. But he said it was the most obvious thing ever.
He said as if he was complaining about it.
Ro- Are we that obvious?
He asked already knowing the answer already.
Vi- No, I don't think so.
He lied also knowing the answer.
Ro- Who are we kidding? We're very obvious.
He said and they both burst out laughing again.
