This is an AU, just heads up.
My dad had called me to come to his office, something about needing to talk to me about something important. So here I am, making my way to his office. When I walk in I am greeted by four men, which obviously isn't usually the best thing in the world. " My beautiful daughter! Come, come in! " He cheers, I'm his only daughter out of the eight children he has. And the boys won't deny it, I am his favorite child. " We have new men, and I wanted you to meet them. The other three are on their way sweetheart, " he adds. I give him a slight nod, as I make eye contact with one of the men standing in front of me.
" Boys, this is my daughter... Y/n, she's one of the ones you will see a lot. Y/n, this is Jungkook, Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok, " he tells me, I give them all a wave. They're definitely all older than me, not a doubt in my mind that they aren't. Sad that they chose this life, but it is what it is.
We continue making light conversation, and there is a knock on the door. My dad saying come in, and the door opens. Must be the rest of their group. " Sweetie... " he begins, I begin to turn around to face them. " Jin, Yoongi, and Namjoon, " he tells me, I make eye contact with Namjoon and I immediately freeze.
Shit... play it cool. Play it cool, dad cannot know. He can't know.
" Hi, it's a pleasure to meet all of you guys. Father... I need to finish up some school work, and I'm sure you have some things you still want to discuss with your new employees is it okay if I am excused? " I ask him, he nods towards me.
" Isn't she so polite, yes sunshine... that's my beautiful daughter, boys let's talk, " he comments clapping his hands as I proceed to leave the room, I turn back and make eye contact with Namjoon.
This is why you don't lie about your age in a club! It comes to bite you in the ass, okay Y/n let's think maybe it's jut someone who looks like him. With the exact same hair color, same height, some body... shit.
I'll explain... since probably at least one person is confused. I'm 20, I technically lied about my age. Well, I just didn't specify it. He asked 'you're older than 18 right?' Which I answered with 'yes.' He didn't ask how old was I in the sense of fully asking for my age. When we slept together I was 19 still, because I hadn't had my birthday yet.
This all came back, why? Out of everyone, it had to be him. Just act professional, maybe he forgot. I mean the only reason why you remember him, is because you were almost completely sober when we started. And... shit, he remembers me. There's no way he doesn't, well that's gonna be a wonderful conversation.
That night still 'haunts' me, the memories of that night continues repeating in my mind over and over and over again. The way he grabbed a hold of me pulling me towards him. Slamming his lips against mine, the way his hands roared my body like he's been longing to do it. I couldn't get him out of my head, and I still can't. It's been almost two weeks now. And in those last two weeks we've met up at least six times. Which causes issues, my dad cannot find out.
That night, my dad wanted to have dinner with me. Which is usually always the case, but they got to join due to them being new. My dad treats all of his men with high respect, it's just something he has always done. But the other situation is I can't, I have a party I was planning on going too.
" Sweetie, there you are... wow you look beautiful, " dad tells me, I nod towards him. " Ohhh.. I completely forgot, you have that party tonight, " he adds. I nod towards him. " You know my rules, " he states.
" Don't get pregnant, don't get killed, have fun, and if you're going to drink know the limits, " I order to him, which he just nods. " Have fun tonight with the newbies, " I add, he nods towards me.
I head back to my room, and when I open it someone grabs a hold of my upper arm pulling me to look at them. It's Namjoon. Before he could open his mouth, I grabbed a hold of him shoving him into my room. And slamming the door behind me. " Are you a lunatic?! Why would you do that in the middle of the hallway?!" I ask him, he just scoffs. He's angry, he's hot when he's angry. But that's not the point as of now.
" You're asking me if I'm the lunatic?! You lied about your age, " he comments, I just shake my head. " Yes you did, I asked you what your age was and you told em you were 20, " he adds.
" No, you asked me if I was older than 18. You asked the question you knew you could get the answer you wanted to hear Namjoon. Of course you have to work for my dad, " I groan turning away from him.
" He saved our lives... " I turn to him in complete shock. " The younger ones, remember it better. We got severely beaten, when we had no one. We lived on the streets, and Jungkook, ran to find help. While Tae and Jimin were getting us four up. He says what he remembers, but it's even blurry to him. He remembers a little girl saying they're bleeding. Which I believe that was you, " he tells me.
Holy shit...
"Daddy... Daddy!" I scream, he turned his head to see the 7 boys, some teens and some younger. "They're bleeding," I add in a state of panic, I was 11 at the time. I was so worried something bad was going to happen. " Ladybug... get behind me, okay. Hey kiddo, what's wrong? " I get behind him, doing as he said.
" They... they came out of no where, and we didn't know what to do! And they were trying to protect us, but they-they weren't strong enough. And we didn't know where to go sir..." he cries towards him in a full panic.
" It's alright, what's your name? " Dad asks him. I can hear the unsettlement in his voice. He's trying not to worry him or me.
" Jungkook, " he whimpers. Jungkook, oh my God. He was a child.
" Hey, my name is Leto. Why don't we get your friends inside, and we can get them some help okay? They're gonna be okay, " dad says to him as sweetly as he could. " Princess, go get Lee and Meks, " I nod towards him running in calling for Lee and Meks.
" I remember that day so vividly, I've never seen my dad be so caring to other kids. That scar, is that from that night? " I ask, he looks up at me in disbelief. " Will that leave a scar? " My father simply nodded to me, he had a cut that went from the top of his shoulder to half way into his bicep.
" Yeah, all I was doing was trying to protect Jimin from getting hurt, " he comments. I walk up towards him and hug him. " Why are you hugging me? " I just look up at him, and that's when he notices the tears in my eyes. He wipes them away.
" My dad said you guys would have died if I didn't call for him, that day has never left me, " I whisper to him. " You could have died... " he continues holding onto me as I cry into his chest.
Maybe I'm starting to admit that I might have a crush on him. Or a crush is forming on him. " Hey... " he begins grabbing a hold of my face so I'm making eye contact with him. " I'm not dead, I'm right here okay? " I nod towards him slowly, I could see it in his eyes he was wanting to kiss me. I simply just nodded towards him. He leaned down and placed his lips onto mine.
This kiss was different it wasn't like the ones before, this one wasn't filled with lust.. it was filled with passion. As much as I wanted it to continue like how it usually does, I moved away from him. Standing there with a light smile on my face. " I should probably get going, and you should probably join my father at dinner before something happens, " I tell him, he nods towards me.
That went on for several months, the hidden kisses, the secret moments. And then one day it just stopped. He avoided me, didn't talk to me. Nothing, it was like a switch was set and he was now bored of me.
I was at the bar, the one my dad owns when I realized there were some men that looked really suspicious. Jay who works at the bar noticed them too, and we both made signal to the other. He did the silent alarm that goes to the office, while I texted my dad saying that some men who looks like they're from the Gold Gang has just walked into the bar. With the silent alarm it should be at least 10 minutes, with me texting him it will be five.
The Gold Gang is known to be one of the most violent gangs, especially to women. So I can see Jay is going to try to get me to stay closer to him. " Where's your father... princess? " Something cold is pressed to the back of my neck. A gun, a gun is pressed to the back of my neck.
" I have no idea what you're talking about, " I tell him, my dad has always told me to lie saying I'm not his if it comes to any situation, never answering them directly saying he is my father. And that is mainly for my safety. So many men would do so much to get their hands on me. I just need to stall for four more minutes.
" You have no idea? " He asks, I slowly nod to him. Another man points his gun at Jay. " Get your hand off of the emergency button now, if you don't I will shoot the girl, " he adds.
Jay looks at me, and I just slowly nod. And he raises his hands in a surrender position. " Now, I'm gonna ask again.... where is Leto? " He asks. I'm keeping myself quiet, because I would be the one who is shot first.
" He's not in today, may I ask why you need him? " Jay asks, still in the same position as before.
" He has something that's mine... well several things, " he states. My breathing becomes quicker. He's talking about the boys. " Ahhh... I think this little one knows what I'm talking about, you're close to them aren't you? I know you're close to one of them, what's his name? Na-Na-Namjoon is it? " He asks, my breathing hitches in that moment. He's the one who severely beaten them all those years ago.
" What do you want with them? " I ask, in a state of worry. It's not just Namjoon I'm worried about it's all of them. Over these past few months, I've grown deeply close with all of them.
He leans down so he's right by my ear. " Well I have some unfinished business with them, " he whispers into my ear which makes me cringe. The audacity of this man. One minute, please get here. " But... maybe I can get my business done with you instead, " he then whispers. I stop breathing in that moment.
" I think you should step away from the girl, " my dad says, he turns around slightly and I grab a hold of my gun and holding it towards him. " Those boys, they're mine. They are under my protection, and you're going to come into my bar. Threaten one of my beloved workers and my child, and believe I will hand them over? " He asks.
I move quickly away hoping over the bar, and Jay grabbing a hold of me. " I think you will once you find out the truth of one of them, " he states. I look over at the boys who have now walked in. Namjoon is the one I make eye contact with. Sorry being written in his eyes. " One of them has been playing with your beloved daughter, your little Ladybug, " dad looks at me, and then back at the boys. Or more like Namjoon.
" Okay? I knew that, don't... call her that name though. That is for me alone, as I said before. The boys are under my protection. So no, you can not finish them off. Their parents might have own you a debt. But they did not, they're older now. They know how to fight, and the one that you say has been 'playing' with my daughter, would kill you in a heartbeat if he heard what you said to her right before they walked in, " he states, it brings a light smile to my face.
This feud has been going on since they were in their 20s, and it's continued to now. I see him slowly raising his gun, but not towards my father to Joon. I immediately bring my gun up to him. " Shot him I shoot you, " I state, not having any shakiness. " I know how you are, we out number you. You always travel in a group of three to four. The fourth one is in the car, the third one is in the bathroom, you're in enemy lines. Shoot the love of my life, and I will end yours, " they all looked at me in complete shock.
" And what if I shoot you instead? " He asks turning his head, BANG! I see the blood starting to form as he falls to the ground, I jump over the bar and walk over to him.
" As my dad said, he would shoot you, " I spat towards him. He lays there on the floor in complete shock. " Get out of here, and don't come back. Or we'll all make sure that the next shot is a fatal one, " I demand towards him.
They quickly leave, and I turn to make sure Jay is okay. And I turn back to be face-to-face with Namjoon. " Are you okay? Are you hurt? " I ask him, checking to my sure he is alright, he grabs a hold of me and pulls me into a hug.
" I thought something bad was going to happen to you, " he whispers to me. I just sigh and hold onto him.
My dad and I had a long talk about the relationship, and he explained why he was being distant was because my dad said to keep his distance for a little bit. To see if it was attraction or just lust. And he said it was attraction, he always was okay with me falling for someone that's apart of the team. But I don't think, he thought I would ever fall for Namjoon.
