You were sitting on the couch with a blanket wrapped around your shoulders.
Knowing that Taylor would be home a little later then usual, you decided to take that spare time and catch up on your online courses. You had started on it sine Taylor left earlier that morning and it has been an all day sort of thing for you having to do.
Despite the mountain of homework, you were able to squeeze in a few breaks and used those times to clean the shared home, at least you cleaned it so it looked decent enough for when Taylor gets home. You didn't want her walking into this mess and since you couldn't do much, you were only able to take out the garbage and stack the dirty dishes as neatly as possible in the sink before returning to homework. You kept reminding yourself that it's not a good old deep clean job, but to your calculations, it should be decent enough. Or so that's what you had thought, what you didn't expect was for Taylor to snap at you after coming home from a bad day.
The reason you didn't expect it was because she would always let you know she's on her way home through a text or phone call. She followed that procedure and you didn't suspect anything. If she hadn't sent you that text, you would then know it had been a difficult day for her. You needs just making up the final editing on your essay when you jumped at the sound of Taylor slamming the door behind her, followed by her angry footsteps approaching you. You remained silent when Taylor appeared, waiting for her to say something when she was ready to, but that seemed to only make this even worse, making her more upset then she already was of your silence.
"Well? Aren't you going to ask me how my day was?" She growled.
"How was your da-"
"Fine! Thanks for asking!" She snaps, stomping into the kitchen with you following behind.
You follow her, hoping that she would comment of a decent job well done you put effort in. When she does comment, you were surprised as for it not being the you were expecting.
"God, (Y/n. Is it really that hard for you to pick up a sponge? Or is that something you don't know how to do?"
"Taylor, I know it doesn't look like much effort has been put into this and you're right. I truly did work on it, I took out the garbage and stacked the dirty dishes neatly in the sink so that it at least looks decent."
"And you're telling me that you call this clean?!"
You couldn't help but fall silent, you really didn't know what to say.
"All I ever see you do is sit around all damn day long while playing away on that silly computer of yours. Something has got to change, otherwise, I don't think this relationship is going to work. You ought to find yourself a new routine to stick with." Taylor huffs, walking away and leaving you there.
That was the night you decided to try and change for her, just like she wanted. You wanted her to see that you held value, even still you wanted her to see that in her perspective. One of the toughest changes you faced was the decision you made to give up one of your courses online while you landed a part time job in a restaurant, as your side job was becoming a housekeeper in your own home. What was going through your mind was the thought of Taylor's echoing words you had found to be a threat against your relationship, and god knows you are willing to do anything to keep it the way things were between you both.
It goes as far as you'd be willing to do anything and everything to save you both.
During this time, you had gotten used to a mew routine that Taylor wished for. Once you're home from work, you are completely exhausted, and it drained your energy so now that you can't fight off the tiredness in order to wait up for Taylor. Night four rolls along of you still unable to fight sleep as you gave up waiting for up Taylor. Taylor takes notice of this and starts to become concerned for you and your health.
Taylor is no longer greeted by you after coming home, and she misses that so much! She finds the whole thing bizarre enough that she decides confronting you about it. Taylor makes her way to the shared bedroom, in which she finds you asleep in, sleeping peacefully. That's when Taylor pushes the thought aside and decides that she will wait and make a nice breakfast for both of you in the morning and she would talk to you about as you enjoy your meal together. She follows through her nightly routine before finally climbing in next to you, a good night's sleep is exactly what she needed after the busy day she went through.

Taylor wakes up before you do, and begins preparing your favorite breakfast meal; her famous homemade crepe bar, while she waits for you to wake up.
It wasn't until Taylor was just setting the table was when you woke up. You followed the smell and the sound of her singing to herself, which of course, leads you into the kitchen.
"Hush
When no one is around, my dear
You'll find me on my tallest tiptoes
Spinning in my highest heels, love
Shining just for you..."
You smiled when you saw what was on the table and made your way to help Taylor finish setting everything up before digging in.
"Oh, no. You sit down, this is for me to do." Taylor protests, earning a funny yet confused look from you.
"Are you sure I can't help?"
"Of course, I only have a few little things left to do."
So you sat down, drumming your thumbs on the table as you were trying to think of what to say to break the silence.
"How'd you sleep?" You ask, just as a yawn escapes your lips.
"Not too bad. How about yourself?"
"I got about eight hours, so I can't really complain."
Taylor soon joins you at the table, sitting next to you, she takes your hand in yours. She had a look on her face that was telling you she had a lot on her mind.
"So, listen... I was wanting to talk to you about something."
"Oh, please proceed."
You say, shoving a fork full of scrambled eggs she had made. Taylor looked nervous to say anything else, making you feel she needs reassuring in order to continue her thoughts.
"Don't worry, whatever's on your mind, I'm here to listen." You reassured her, she nods her head as she speaks up.
Taylor let's loose and spills the beans, taking you by surprise as this was the last thing you expected to be on her mind. Taylor mentions how much she misses you, not just by seeing you, but by the little things you would do around her. Such as on the nights you would wait up for her, and you being gone at your part time job on her day off, as well as you not responding to her messages right away as you had done so before. After she finishes, it's silent for a few seconds before telling her your side of the same story.
It was a bit nerve racking to admit to Taylor it was because of the way she made you feel the other night, but it had to be done and said. You mention certain turn of events, one of them being of you giving up one of your courses, and that made her feel terrible like never before, worse then any guilt she ever felt. Once you had finished, both you and Taylor had a much more long talk on how to resolve this to make things better.
"Do you think I can talk you into giving up your part time job and continuing with your courses?"
"I don't see why not. Although it's only part time, it's a lot of work and is very exhausting."
"That's good, because from now on, the rule is you must take your courses into our room to when you work on them and we will put a movie in while you do it."
"I'd like that. That sounds nice."
"Then that's what we'll do."
When arguments come across, you and Taylor always have a way to work things out, with that making you both a better team.
