As you go through each relationship, you've learned to keep quiet about anything that can disrupt it.

For you, that anything was something called anxiety. Most other girls either would just leave or would pretend to care before eventually leaving you once you've come out with it. Ever since you've started a relationship with Taylor, you had vowed to keep this a secret in fear of her leaving. If that happened, you wouldn't be able to go through yet, another relationship with anyone else. Because of all this, it also effected your trust and that only made things harder on you than before.

Sure Taylor was a very understanding person, but again because you've gone through way too many, it still made trusting for you like a needle in a haystack. When you've decided to give your trust completely to Taylor, you thought you've put yourself on the right track with just the right person. Here you are now, standing by the counter biting your nails as you anxiously continue to wait for Taylor to get home. She was working at the studio today and was supposed to be home two hours ago, when you tried calling her, all you got was her voicemail. You decided to give her another hour and if she wasn't available on the phone, you'd go out and look for her. Thoughts of different ideas of what might be keeping her played through your mind and it was one of the most unpleasant things, more like games as your mind played tricks on you. First thought was that maybe she was in a car accident and hurt somewhere, the next was maybe she was already tired of your company and took off with friends.

Taylor walked in the house thirty minutes later just as you were about to call her yet, again. She didn't look too happy and knowing it was because of you trying to reach out to her, scared you, causing the anxiety to start settling in. You both remain quiet at first until you worked up the courage to be the first to speak up.

"I'm sorry, Taylor. I was just really worried about you when I couldn't reach out to you. I just worry too much."

What Taylor says next, takes you by surprise as she takes your hand in here, pulling it close towards her chest as she speaks.

"It's okay, Y/n. The reception wasn't wanting to work properly and we had to work later than scheduled. Are you okay?"

Her facial expression had softened as she asks you this. Even though it has been a short time into your relationship, she could already read you like a book and could tell if you were lying to her. As though you could sense that she already had some idea, you decide to slightly come out with the truth of your anxiety.

"I'm okay now that you're here. I was just really starting to worry about you. My mind plays tricks on me and I'm one to worry quite often. I just get anxious at times."

Before you could say anything else, you suddenly become engulfed in her warm and loving embrace. Taylor's hugs are one in a million, and always made you feel so much better, and tonight was one of those nights you needed one. Just as you've become comfortable in each other's embrace, she begins to whisper sweet things in your ear.

"As long as we have each other, nothing can tear us apart. I love you Y/n, so much."

"I love you too, Taylor."
