Heyyy guys! I am back with another update!
I was watching breakfast with champions, Rohit's episode when I suddenly came up with this idea! It was so spontaneous but I loved it so here it is!
I don't really know what Nd where they were traveling but this is what I have assumed of the scenario! Hope you like it!
It was March 2016. The team was playing a bilateral home series.
They had won the first match taking a lead of 1-0. They were about to go to the next ground for the next match.
A certain Sharma was sitting in his room just about to sleep, talking to his newly wedded wife, Ritika.
He had been dating her for long but it had just been a few months to his marriage. He was happy.
He hung up the call pretty happy and satisfied. He took off his wedding ring, it was a big ring and he wasn't still comfortable with wearing it all day all night. It made him uncomfortable while sleeping and that is not something he'll tolerate.
He put that ring in the drawer of the side table and slept almost immediately.
Rohit was woken up by the incessant banging of the door and the colourful words of Virat who was screaming fr outside.
He looked at the time and immediately got up, he was late!
He just let Virat know he was up and hastily walked to freshen up.
He was the last one to enter the bus and people gave him a obvious glance.
Mahi- Ro you're late again!
Ro- Mahi bhai...
He whined cutely to which Mahi just melted and how could he not! The new debutant, his first kiddo was now the Hitman!
Ro sat beside Virat and the bus took off.
Ro was mostly sleeping through the ride and Virat woke him up to get down.
Virat was the enthu kid so he ran to see the reception.
Rohit walked behind to his leisure when he was slightly pushed by Umesh kamath's bag. He just hit him lightly on the head as reply when his hand fell on the ring that Umesh was wearing.
His wedding ring! He forgot! Ritika was going to kill him for sure! He was so dead.
He stopped there for a while to think.
Who should he tell? Virat was out of question, his first reaction would be to tell Ritika! Mahi bhai can't help in this with the hotel management.
He suddenly remembered Bhajji pa talking to some guy in that hotel. Maybe he knows someone!
He ran immediately to bhajji.
Ro- Bhajji pa suno na!
Bhajji- Kya hua re Shane?
Ro- woh mai...
He tried to speak fidgety.
Bhajji- jaldi bol.
Ro- Bhajju pa mai apni ring bhul gaya hu woh hotel mai.
Bhajju- SHADI WALI RING?
He asked shocked beyond words. How can someone be so forgetful?
Ro- Haa parr aap woh kisiko jante ho na vaha, unse bolle mangva do!
Bhajji- Haa kar deta hu. Tu bhi kya yaad rakhega!
Rohit was called by mahi to check his room and bags so he ran over there letting bhajji call.
Virat was strolling around when he heard bhajji talking someone about finding something.
He was joined by Jinks who heard the same.
Vi- Kya hua bhajju pa? Kuch reh gaya kya aapka?
Jinks- Aap kaise kuch bhul aaye?
He asked pretty shocked.
Bhajji- Mai? Mai hotel ke sabun tak le aaya, mai kuch nahi chodta.
Vi- Toh?
Bhajji- Ye tera nikamma dost.
He said exasperated.
Vi- Rohit firr kuch bhul gaya? What is it now? Passport? iPad? Wallet? Mobile?
He said already laughing.
Bhajji- Naa naa beta, shadi shuda mard ki hathkadi bhul aaya hai khotteya.
He added dramatically.
Jinks- Oh shit. Really?
The one year married Jinks gasped.
Vi- Kya?
He asked extremely clueless.
Bhajji- Teri shadi nahi hui na toh tujhe pata nahi chalega.
Jinks- Ring, wedding ring bhul aaya.
He clarified for the confused.
Vi- Ooooo, ritsy baby, here I come with the hot news.
He said immediately, excited ofcourse.
Jinks- Virat, no! Shh.
He shushed him and Virat stopped, for meanwhile.
Toh aapki baat Hui?
Bhajji- Haa woh dhund rahe hai.
Suddenly, his Phone rings.
Bhajji- Oh uska hi hai.
Hello ... Mil gayi? ... Thank god. Can someone send it here? ... Sure thankyou.
Woh apni shift hojane ke baad personally laake dega.
He said relieved.
Jinks- Acha hua mil gayi, nahi toh kya hota ye Rohit ne socha bhi nahi hoga.
Jinks was speaking to Bhajji while Virat had already escaped from there.
"Roooohit..." Virat sang as he saw Rohit enter his room.
Ro- Itna pyaar?
He said as they entered his room.
Vi- Ofcourse! Parr tu kaha ab mujhse itna pyaar karta hai, now that you've got a wife and a marriage with vows and mangalsutra and rings. Haina?
He said exaggerating his words.
Ro- Uhm what? Shadi abhi hui hai, date toh mai kar hi raha tha na usko?
He said genuinely confused with Virat's behaviour.
Vi- Haa woh toh hai parr ab vows, rings, phere vagere add hogaye hai. Marriage!
He said sounding too idealistic for him.
Rohit gasped suddenly,
Ro- Do you plan on getting married Vi!? Tu aur anushka shadi kar rahe ho? That's why tu itna shadi shadi kar raha hai?
Vi- NO! For god's sake no! Mai toh aise hi bol raha tha about the...
Ro- Vows, rings and phere, yeah I got that.
Rohit said confused and annoyed.
Vi- So is there something new that you want to tell me? Aise kuch interesting hai kya?
Ro- Virat we just came together in the bus, kya bataunga, pagal.
He laughed it off.
Vi- Hmm, yeah, nothing to tell, okay.
He said annoyed and angry.
Ro- Haa?
Vi- No, no, it's okay.
He left the room suddenly banging the door.
Ro- Kya hojata hai isko?
Rohit just spoke to himself.
Rohit came out after putting his bags in his room.
He saw Virat walking so he joined him but was recieved in silence.
Virat gave him a cold shoulder which was unusual since they hadn't fought, yet!
Ro- Oye tujhe kya hua? Tujhse matlab?
Vi- Mai bhi nahi bataunga.
He said stubborn.
Ro- Kya?
Vi- Kuch bhi.
Ro- Matlab?
Virat had had enough of him so he just blurted out all of it.
Vi- Tu apni ring bhul aaya aur tune mujhe bataya bhi nahi!
Rohit's eyes widened mortified because, Virat knowing meant that half the world knew!
Ro- It's not a big deal!
He decided to shrug it off so Virat couldn't pester him with it.
Vi- Oh really? Let me call Ritika then.
He said pulling his phone out.
Rohit immediately snatched his phone out of his hand and put it in his pocket.
Ro- NOOO! YOU DARE NOT! She'll cut me into pieces!
Vi- Ahaa! So it is a big deal!
Ro- Yes it is a big deal but just please keep your mouth shut! Jab tak ring nahi mil jaati please!
He just warned him in a low tone.
Vi- I'll try.
He said casually shrugging his shoulders.
Ro- I'll kill you!
Vi- Ri-ti-kaaa...
Ro- Okay what do you want?
He said trying to calm Virat down.
Vi- You'll have to come with me whenever I say that I wanna go out and roam around for a whole month.
Ro- Done.
He said grudgingly.
Vi- You'll come to the gym with me and will eat what I order.
Ro- Uhggg, done. Ritika better know how much I love her.
Vi- Okay, mai nahi bataunga.
Virat just laughed.
Rohit went towards Jinks while Virat sat with jaddu doing their random bakwaas.
It was all peaceful before Virat sprung up to ask a question.
Vi- Kya tum maise kisine aisa kuch important kabhi khoya hai kya?
Jinks- Haa Teri baaton Mai Mera time.
He said immediately sending everyone into fits of laughter.
Vi- And ignored!
He mocked.
Vi- Aur kuch?
Jaddu- Aur kuch jaise... Phone's? iPad? Watches?... Rings?
Jaddu said looking at Rohit.
Bhajji howled in laughter knowing what they meant.
Jinks wanted to not laugh but it was so funny, he couldn't help it!
Rohit just glared at Virat furiously, obviously he couldn't do anything about it. Virat had the trump card, Ritika.
Mahi- What are you guys saying?
Jinks- Nothing, just random! Inka toh chalta rehta hai, chodo, breakfast karlo.
He said like typical jinks.
After practice, they all were getting back to the lobby.
Shikhar- Guys, guys, guys!
He called everyone around.
Shikhar- Maine match ke baad hum sab ke liye ek tour arrange karvaya hai!
He said enthusiastic and everyone including the sane Bhuvi hooted!
Vi- Shikki meri jaan, I love you! Issi baat pe...
Virat went down on one knee in front of Shikhar, bringing his palm in front of Shikhar.
Vi- Will you marry me Shiks?
He asked dramatically opening his empty palm.
Everyone stood still to watch his dramatics and where it goes.
Vi- But oh wait! I think I forgot the ring!
He said and everybody who knew including Shikhs this time laughed.
Rohit banged his head into a wall.
Ro- Bass karjaa! Guys, sunlo sab! I FORGOT MY WEDDING RING IN THAT HOTEL! I removed it while sleeping and forgot to put it on again.
He just confessed and felt so light!
Everybody looked at each other and burst laughing.
Rohit looked at each of them confused as everyone just looked entertained not shocked or amused as he would've imagined.
Ro- You all already knew, didn't you?
He put it not as a question but more like a statement.
Ash- We did.
He said and more people snickered.
Ro- And I don't think I need more than one guess to know that it was this buffoon!
He said looking immediately towards Virat.
Vi- Me? No! Mai aisa kar sakta hu?
He said with the most innocent face.
Jinks- It was Virat.
He said with a straight face to which Virat gasped.
Sometimes it was fun to be the trouble maker!
Ro- VIRAT PREM KOHLI! Tu toh gayaa!! Mai tujhe chodunga nahi!
Vi- Pehle pakadke dikhaa!
Virat ran as fast as he could followed by a furious Rohit!
They did get the ring back by afternoon while Virat had the most tiring times as Rohit made him run the whole hotel and when he finally caught hold of him, he was too tired to even scream.
So they both settled to giving each other looks and then burst out laughing.
Rohit ended up confessing the whole mess to Ritika who was initially shocked but laughed later when Virat tried to dramatically make it sound bigger.

Unfortunately, we have to wait for the west indies series to finally see RohiRat in one frame💔
