Timothee Chalamet joins Y/n Y/l/n in the cast of 'Withering Hearts', the movie about a princess and a common boy who has a secret relationship. It is based off the book of the same name, and author Valentina Reese, who is also known for her works such as My Fine Prince and He Must Die. Was apart of the casting crew, she said 'when he [Timothee] did his audition, I knew before he even started he would be playing Nikko, there was no one else I could see playing him after we saw him audition.' The 23 year old author was thrilled to even have Y/n Y/l/n apart of the project. And what made it even better was that Chalamet would be joining her.
This will be Y/l/n's first movie since the ending of 'Princess Rosalie', she has been acting since she was 3 years old when she played Evie Parker in the Spider-Man series. What's amazing is that in all three of the different Spider-Man's Y/l/n has played Evangeline in all three of them. We think that it will be a huge success with two both extremely good looking actors to play the leads.
Others are now sharing their insight on what they believe the movie will be like. Hoping that they are able to do all 6 books and turn them into movies. Reese's 'Withering Hearts' franchise is her biggest one yet. She was only 17 years old when she published the first book. And people instantly fell in love with Nikko and Lovelyn and their story. Reese has said this is her favorite series, because of how much she loves the characters. She says 'I would want nothing more than to fall in love the way they do.' When asked about the project Timothee Chalamet (26) and Y/n Y/l/n (23) were both overly thrilled, Y/l/n saying 'it's going to be an honor to work with him [Timtohee] and I've been a fan of him for a while, so I know I will have a blast.
Timothee has said how much he thinks Y/n is amazing, from her roles as Evie, Angie, and Lina. As well, Rosary, Max, and Elizabeth. He says it's always been on his bucket list to be able to star in a movie with her, and now he's thrilled more than ever to work with her. We're still waiting to see who else will be joining the cast, but we know they will be bringing on some fantastic actors to help make 'Withering Hearts' come alive.
This will be rated R, with the amount of scenes being displayed. It most definitely will be. Come on if you ever read the books you would know things get spicy, like full on spicy between the two of them! The movie would have been a let down if it's not, that's just my opinion.
^ I can 100 percent see them trying to change it, most definitely. But then again with the ages of Timothee and Y/n maybe they won't. I know in the books, at leas the first one, she's only 17 and he's 20. I just realized their age difference matches up, that's super adorable.
" Have you seen these opinions? They're insane, " Z comments, I give her a nod.
" I mean, it's one of the most loved books to many. I love this book series too, people are bound to be protective over it. As well just wondering, maybe know that it will change, because you can't keep everything in, " I tell her. " I just hope everyone is nice, " I add.
" They will be, plus Timothee... he's a sweetheart, " she tells me, which causes me to chuckle. " What I'm telling you the truth, I know with these types of roles with you, you always want to make sure the love interest is actually someone who isn't an asshole, trust me. He's not, he's genuinely an amazing, sweet guy. Plus maybe you'll hit it off, maybe you two will become a thing, " she jokes, which causes me to shake my head.
Z or Zendaya, but I always call her Z. She's been a close friend of mine since Shake It Up, no I haven't been on Disney since. They wanted me to go on there as myself. This was during my Amazing Spider-Man days when I was playing Angie. We've been good friends since 2012, she's someone I hold dear to my heart. She's someone I count as my best friend.
We have a table read today or at least scenes between Timothee and I. They're doing a chemistry read between the two of us. Yeah, they casted the both of us, and haven't gotten a chemistry read between the two of us.
I arrive to the chemistry read and I walk in to see Timothee. " Hey it's a pleasure to meet you, " he tells me reaching out his hand.
" It's a pleasure to meet you as well, I've heard so much about you, " I tell him shaking his hand as well.
That was the first time I ever met Timothee, and immediately I started liking him. Or at least on the physical level, I found him attractive. But when we started filming, that's when more emotions started to emerge.
" Nikko, have you ever seen a naked woman? " I ask him, he stands there facing away from me.
" Princess... I don't think that would be something I should answer, " he tells me. I walk towards her go in front of him, and grabbing a hold of his shoulders." Madam... " he begins as his breath hitches, he's an amazing actor I have to say.
" Nikko, you can touch me if you want, " I tell him, he looks up at me. He hesitates at first, and I grab a hold of him, and move him closer so he's touching my breast. He's not actually, but it will look like he is. He squeezes, which causes me to lightly moan. Which this is all scripted.
" Can I kiss you? " He asks, I nod towards him. He leans in and kisses me, and I quickly start kissing him back. This is the first intimate scene between the two of them. The scene gets more intense, as he pushes me against the wall. As we begin to get more into the scene.
" Someone's coming, " I tell him, he moves us back into the closest. I am koala hugging him, and it looks like he's currently inside me. Like stuff like that.
" The princess will have to find a husband eventually, " Alan (Van Sprang) states, as he entered the room.
" Captain, you have been working in this family for how long? Since you were 19, she will find a husband. But she deserves to fall in love the way my daughter did, if she falls for a commoner, are you going to try to forbid it? " Imelda (Staunton) says, she's playing my grandmother in this.
" Mariana, what if it comes and she'll be queen? " Matt (Smith) asks, who plays my dad/the king.
" You have how many sons before her? My dear son-in-law, let her love who she pleases to love. Or she will be like your sister-in-law and just disappear, and you know full in well she's capable of it, " Imelda tells him, the three walk out and we stay there in shock.
" Is my grandmother actually fighting for me? " I ask him, he nods towards me. I lean in and begin to kiss him again, and we begin to fully finish the scene.
" Great work guys, great work! " Valentina tells us, she's pretty much co directing with Maxwell, because he wanted to get her insight on the matter. And didn't want to destroy her baby. So she's been in the process of everything pretty much.
" Okay so you guys aren't in the next scene, so just take a break, " Maxwell tells us, we both nod towards him walking off the set.
" So what made you want to do this? " Timmy asks to me, I lightly chuckle towards him.
" I love the series, I've been reading Valentina's works since her first published book. Plus, I've always wanted to step out of my comfort zone, and ironically play the princess for once. And not a servant, or a handmaid, or something like that. I thought it would be interesting. Why did you do it? " I ask back, he just smiles.
" I loved the idea of being able to make this come alive. As well I've always wanted to work with you, and when this opportunity happened, I knew I needed to do it. I also just think it's an amazing work of art, and the script was fantastic, " he tells me, I give him a nod.
" I will say when I was told you would be joining the cast I was overly joyed. Z-Zendaya has told me a lot about you, and so you seemed like someone I wanted to work with, " I comment, he smiles towards me.
" She's told me a lot about you also, " he comments, which causes me to smile towards him.
" The fans have been giving their full support towards 'Withering Hearts', one fan stating 'there's no way that the two of them won't fall in love. These books are so intense, I am hoping that the two of them fall for each other! Because they would be the cutest couple in the world'. All of the fans are showing their full support, as more and more of behind the scenes has been revealed, "
Timothee's P.O.V.
I fell for her to say the least, she's absolutely amazing in every way possible. I truly should tell her maybe, we're almost done filming, we're finishing up the last scene. Nikko has been locked up, because someone had found out that Lovelyn and him had slept together. It's her big rescue in a way. Valentina really did an amazing job of the princess being this really heroic character who doesn't need a man by her side, but chooses to have one by her side.
Action has been called, and I've been beaten up so I am laying on the prison grounds. " Nikko! Nikko! " Y/n screams running down to try and find my cell.
" Lovelyn? Lovey?! " I yell to her, she turns to me.
" Nikko! " She screams running towards me, I try to get up and fail. She immediately unlocks the cell and comes in, grabbing a hold of me. " What.. what did they do to you? " She asks holding onto me tightly.
" I'm alright, I pr..pr..promise, " I tell her, she starts to cry. And I slowly move my hand up to her eye, wiping the tear from her eye.
" You're...you're bleeding, " she cries, she lays me down on her lap, and moves the hairs out of my face. " You're going to be okay, I promise... I'll get you out of this, I promise, " she adds.
" I won't make it 3 feet, " I mutter to her.
" I'll get you out okay, I'm not going to let them kill you... I-I-I love you too, okay? " She tells me, I lightly smile towards her.
" That's all I've ever wanted to hear from you, " I whisper to her reaching out my hand to hold her cheek. She holds onto my hand. " And I love you Lovelyn, but your father doesn't want us to be together... and I don't want to lose you, " I add.
" Nikko.. we can run away, " she tells me. I look at her confused, she just lightly smiles. " I'll follow you anywhere, if you tell me to run away. I will runaway with you, I promise you Nikko. I will never love anyone else okay? You are the one who holds my heart, " she adds.
I chuckle towards her, she leans down and kisses me. One of the guards grabs a hold of her pulling her off of me. " Charlie please let go off me! He's going to try to kill him! " Y/n screams trying to get out of his grasp.
" I'm not going to kill him sweetheart, I'm sending him to the front lines, " Matt says.
" No! " Y/n screams.
Cut is called, and we all start saying our goodbyes. " People are not going to be happy with that cliffhanger, " I tell her, which causes her to chuckle.
" Yeah, they definitely won't be. Hopefully, we can make a second movie, " she comments.
" Ahh you just can't get enough of me can you? " I ask her, which causes her to chuckle. She grabs a hold of my collar pulling me closer to her.
" Maybe I can't, what are you gonna do about it? " She asks, I just smile towards her.
" Take you out to dinner, tonight? My place, 7:30? " I ask, she nods towards me with a smile on her face.
" Yeah, your place, make it 7, " she comments, I give her a nod.
7 o'clock roles around, and there's a knock at my door. I open it to see her, and my mouth immediately drops. " It is raining like crazy out there, " she chuckles towards me.
" You look wonderful, " I tell her, which causes her to smile.
" You don't look too bad yourself, " she tells me, which causes me to chuckle.
Since it was raining so hard, we decided to just stay in and hang out. I'm still surprised I had the confidence to do that, to actually ask her to have dinner with me. " You know we've gotten close, but in an odd way, " I tell her, which causes her to chuckle.
" I mean that's true, the first day we met we did a chemistry read and it in was pretty much a sex scene. But truly it's been weird, but I'm glad that I have gotten the chance to actually meet you. You're a pretty great guy, " she comments, which causes me to smile towards her.
" Yeah, that's so true, " I comment, we decided to watch a movie. And she moved over, and placed her legs over mine. " I.. I need to tell you something, " I add.
" What's up? " She asks as she moves closer to me.
" Over these past months, I-I really got to- " knock, knock, knock. Of course something has to interrupt us. I start to get up by she grabs my face and moves me to look back at her.
" It's probably just the food, what were you going to say? " She asks, keeping her hand on my cheek.
" I-I umm.. why is this so hard to say? " I ask chuckling, which causes her to smile at her.
" Cause you're nervous, " she comments, which causes me to chuckle towards her. " Do you want to kiss me? " She asks, I nod towards her. I move her closer to me and kiss her. I move her down on the couch, and she lays down on it.
" I like you, I just needed to say that, " I comment.
" I like you too Timmy, " she tells me. I move down, and begin to kiss her neck. Which immediately caused her to grab my hair. Immediately it gets more intense between the two of us, and we start taking off each other's clothes. " Timothee... oh my God, " she mutters to me.
As you can imagine what could have happened next, we did talk about it. And we fully talked about the idea of us being together, and it completely works out. We don't want to tell the fans yet, because of just wanting privacy. But we do eventually want to tell the public.
Months has passed and now it's the premiere. " Y/n's arrived! " Someone random screams, I turn to my left to see her, she looks absolutely amazing, wow. " Y/n! Timothee! Can we get you two together?! " Someone else screams, Y/n looks over at me and smiles while walking over, and immediately grasping my hand into hers.
" You look lovely by the way love, " she whispers to me.
" You look drop dead gorgeous, " I whisper back to her.
" Can you do a spin for us?! " Someone screams, before she could even look at me. I spun her around, and dipping her. Which caused the fans to awe at us. Truly the dating rumors has increased a whole lot. But neither of us really care, because we are together in real life. And hav been for nearly 8 months.
The first film was a huge success, and many fans were definitely wanting more.
'Withering Hearts' has been declared to make a second movie, which will be based off the second book in the series. Which focuses on Nikko's time while he is in the war. One fan saying 'the ending absolutely killed me. Why did they have to end it like that! If there isn't a second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth movie. I will be fighting whoever was dumb enough not to do it!'
Many fans are now also trying to figure out if the lovebirds on screen have become lovebirds offscreen. Many have been thinking they are due to the many outings of them together, and with the cuteness of the two on the red carpet. I will even I was starting to wonder, due to how Timothee looked at Y/n when she first arrived onto the scene.
When we asked Timothee this is what he had to say. "I will admit, she is a very attractive woman. And if you were in my position obviously you would see that beauty. Some of the scenes we did, really had to be both of us fully showing our emotions and not hiding from one another... She's amazing in every way possible, and she's a great woman. I'm very glad and honored to be able to work with someone as wonderful and beautiful as her."
" We got Timothee Chalamet and Y/n Y/l/n here together! Have to say I saw the movie, you two are fantastic in this movie. The chemistry is so surreal, " Jimmy tells us which causes us to chuckle. " Did you two do a chemistry read before they casted you two? " He asks, both of us shook our heads.
" They casted both of us and then we did a chemistry read. Thankfully we did have natural chemistry, because I don't think Valentina or Maxwell wanted to recast either of us, " Y/n tells him, his mouth just drops.
" Luckily you two did have chemistry. And I've been asked by many, and I'm sure you've been asked this question a million times. But, did that chemistry transfuse to off camera? " He asks, I look at Y/n and she just nods towards me.
" You answer this Timmy, I want to see him get nervous and flustered, " Y/n comments, which causes everyone to laugh.
" Yes... um, you're mean. It did, that did transfuse over into off camera, " I tell him.
" Congrats! The fans are going to be excited to hear about that. Do you want to talk about it? " Jimmy asks, we just shrug.
" If you want, " we both say in unison.
" When did it happen, that will be the only question I ask, " he comments.
" Right after it ended was when he officially asked me. During filming it was just us catching feelings and starting to like each other. but honestly I couldn't have asked for someone better, he's absolutely amazing in every way possible, " she tells him, which only causes me to smile.
I met the one, I definitely did.
