Jay led most of the tour and explained each and every room to my friends. Nicholas was the most intrigued, especially when we got to the basement. There was a complete go-kart track and everything, even laser tag. I didn't even know we had this. They didn't even want to complete the tour of the backyard, they just wanted to race each other.
"Let me go first!" Nicholas yelled as he and Youngbin raced to the karts. Only three could go at a time.
Echan and Hanbin quickly took the empty seats as Youngbin pushed Nicholas out of the way of the last one. "I win!" He shouted as Jay explained how to ride the go-karts and Sunoo held up the checkered flag waiting to start.
"Everyone ready? Let's go!" Sunoo yelled as he started waving the flag like crazy and the boys took off.
Hanbin held the lead for a good while, but Youngbin shortly caught up. Echan was just chilling near the back, relaxing as he drove along the track as Youngbin and Hanbin were full on racing. Jay even had to yell at them to slow down as they neared the end of their three laps. Hanbin and Youngbin slammed on the breaks as Hanbin's kart just barely passed the finish line before Youngbin.
"Hanbin wins!" Sunoo yelled as Echan came strolling through the finish line finally.
"Darn it! I was so close!" Youngbin sighed as he got out of the go-kart.
"My turn!" Nicholas yelled as he quickly pushed one of the kart's back behind the finish line and buckled himself in.
Echan pushed his back to the start line and I just got into that and buckled in as Jay and Sunoo got into one. Jay had a special go-kart and Sunoo got into Hanbin's kart. Youngbin stood with the checkered flag high in the air as we all got ready to race.
"Ready, Set, Go!!" He yelled waving the flag around as we started racing.
Nicholas took a heavy lead, with Jay trying to catch up with him. Me and Sunoo were a bit behind, but soon enough I was able to pass Sunoo and just needed to catch up with Jay. I was behind both Nicholas and Jay who were neck and neck, ending their first lap. Sunoo caught up to me and we were both trying to pass Jay and Nicholas.
"Move it Jay!" I yelled as I ran into the back of his kart.
"You wish!" He sped up and just barely passed Nicholas as they ran pass the finish line on their second lap.
"Nicholas! Win this thing" I yelled to him as me and Sunoo ran into each other and turned both our go-karts towards the wall. We sat there laughing as we unbuckled and stood by our karts watching Jay and Nicholas continue their last lap.
"Come on Nicholas!" I yelled as they turned the corner and were both headed straight for the finish line.
Hanbin leaned down near the finish line videoing who won as they both crossed the line. Jay and Nicholas immediately unbuckled themselves and ran towards Hanbin asking who won.
"Hold on! I'm slowing it down" He said as he put the video into slow mo, and just barely Jay's wheel passed the line first.
"Yes! I won!" He jumped up and down with his hands up in victory. Nicholas groaned as he held his hand out to Jay.
"Good job" He said as Jay took his hand and shook it. "You were good competition"
I smiled as me and Sunoo walked up to him and Nicholas with their arms around each other. I'm glad I was allowed to invite my friends into the castle. Jay seems to be getting along with Nicholas, and everyone seems happy.
"Oh shoot! We have 10 minutes left until class starts again!" Echan quickly said as he looked down at his clock.
All of us nodded as we all ran upstairs and towards the front door. I stopped near the door and looked up at Jay.
"Thanks Jay. Thanks for letting me invite my friends inside. I'll see you later for dinner!" I waved to him goodbye as the knights opened the gates for me and my friends.
We all ran to the school so we could get inside on time. Kids were walking inside already and we were one of the last ones inside. Sunoo, Echan and Hanbin waved goodbye to us as they walked to their next class and I pulled out my schedule.
"Okay. I have Drama next. You guys?"
"We also have Drama. Come on, let's get there quickly before we are late" Nicholas said as he folded up his schedule.
Youngbin grabbed both of our wrists as we all started running down the halls. Luckily we weren't late for this class, and even Hanbin was in our class. Youngbin led us to these stair props and we sat on them beside Hanbin.
"I didn't know you were also in this class, Y/N" Hanbin smiled as he patted an area next to him.
"Oh yeah. Drama was my favorite class back on Kang" I said as I sat down beside him.
Youngbin and Nicholas sat down in front of us as the teacher walked into the class.
"Okay, you happy, happy students of mine! Today we will get into groups of four and will write a script for another group in your class. You will write the members of your group on a small piece of paper and fold it up. After throwing the names into the hat another group will choose it. That group will write a script and give out roles to each group member and next month will be the performance for the whole school. The scripts for your chosen groups will be due this Friday"
I nodded as Youngbin and Nicholas turned towards me and Hanbin. Hanbin had already written down all our names onto a piece of paper. After each group was determined, one person went up and got a piece of paper for their groups. Nicholas went up for ours and came back with the names.
"Okay we have to write a script for Felix, Seungmin, Chan, and Hyunjin!" Nicholas read aloud
"Ooo! They are such a fun group. We have to make it funny" Hanbin clapped as he, Youngbin and Nicholas started writing down ideas for the script.
"I wonder who got us" I sighed as I watched them write stuff down.
"Our scripts are random. One year we had to act like goblins, the next year we acted like we were a family of cleaners, but one family member wanted to branch out. Last year, whoever got us wrote a script about three princes who were brothers. We all had to act like we hated each other and fought over the princess. This year we could be dolphins for all I know" Nicholas laughed.
"Who was the princess?"
"Hanbin. Since we're usually a group of four guys, someone had to be the princess"
"My first kiss was with Nicholas last year" Hanbin shuddered as Nicholas and Youngbin laughed.
"I remember that! I was standing behind a curtain and I couldn't stop laughing" Youngbin said as Hanbin's face turned red.
I looked around at all the groups as the boys continued brainstorming and saw one group looking at us constantly. They all wore glasses and kept pointing towards my group. I think they got us.
Our main idea for the story was that Chan was a five year old, Seungmin was a mom, Felix and Hyunjin were twins and were a family of ducks. Nicholas thought it was the funniest thing in the world. And we all just thought he was an idiot.
Throughout the week, they would come over and we'd work on our script. Youngbin and I wrote most of the script while Hanbin and Nicholas worked on how they would act it out, so we could see how it'd look.
"This is the stupidest thing i've ever written" I sighed as I read over the script.
"Trust me, they can make it the best thing in the world" Nicholas said as Youngbin did some last minute touches before turning it in.
"Okay children! It's time to turn the scripts into me and I'll hand out all your new scripts" The teacher came around and collected our scripts. She read over the scripts and came around giving us our new ones.
Nicholas and I watched Chan receive their script and as they read it over, actually laughed.
"See, I told you they'd like it"
"Nicholas. They are idiots!" I said and rolled my eyes as Nicholas laughed.
The teacher handed Hanbin our script as Hanbin read over the script and roles. I could see the boys smiling as they flipped through the pages, so I decided to peek at it. But when they got to the last page, their faces dropped.
"Oh no" Nicholas said as Hanbin shut the script.
"We are so dead" Youngbin sighed as he flopped onto the stair prop.
I could see Hanbin's face looking dead. I picked up the script and flipped to the last page and started reading through it. Oh we are all so dead.
