It was almost like they knew you needed to take your mind off things.
When Taylor showed you that your favorite band, The Offspring, was performing a livestream concert for i heart radio that night, you immediately had become excited for it. The year had you going through some rough paths and just as things seemed to be turning around, something happens to make the hell worse because now, you were scheduled to have surgery the following morning and jut like anyone else, you were nervous.
The second dinner had been prepared, it was time for the livestream concert. Taylor pulls it up on the tv while you eat your meals. Even though neither of you were there in person with the audience, you couldn't help but sing along anyway as if you were really there.
"You gotta keep em' separated"
In the end, it was an excellent performance the band had put on together. What you didn't know was that Taylor had a surprise for you up her sleeve. Earlier that day, when she first saw the notification for the event, she contacted the band through Twitter and requested a shout out for them to give you anytime during the concert.
Just before the last song had started, that was when they had chose to fulfill Taylor's request. You about had lost it, as the surprise struck in awe.
"We wanna send a special shout-out to Y/n L/n, we were wanting to send our best wishes for a speedy, yet healthy full recovery." Noodles (Kevin Wasserman) starts.
"That's right, healthy." Dexter adds on.
"Here's to Y/n L/n."
Noodles raises his drink, and the audience actually began to chant your name as the last song of the event begins.
