"Hmmmn..." Maverick moaned in surprise. His eyes went wide in shock, suddenly being kissed so roughly. He tried to push the Alpha away but as the kiss continued, he lost his will and instead cling unto him. He closed his eyes and let the rhythm flow. He never wanted this to happen but he couldn't resist. Maybe it's because of the influence of alcohol or maybe the fact that their bodies might be compatible but he liked it, he enjoyed it.
Eventually, the earlier little resistance he had became submissive as his body eventually turned hot. Alas, they had to pull away and stop.
"Do you believe me now?" Tian Zi growled almost in annoyance as he pressed his hard and hot body against the quivering Omega. Maverick might be older but he's a tad bit taller and bigger in built than him so it was easy for him to dominate Maverick in terms of weight and strength. That said, he didn't know why he had to prove his feelings to Maverick but he just felt annoyed that no one believed him. Was he really acting like he liked Fyre?? To him, he was just being nice to his friend that he's responsible for.
"Mo Tian Zi, you're a complicated and stubborn man. I hope you won't regret your decisions in future." Maverick replied as he lightly pushed Tian Zi. They've been taking way too long and he was worried that one of his brothers will come looking for him soon and catch him in an awkward position with the Alpha.
Meanwhile as all of this was unfolding, Fyre who was all this time by the door covered his mouth with his palms in shock. He didn't know why he was suddenly feeling hurt by the scene he had witnessed but he quickly dashed out, almost stumbling on his feet. Thankfully before he fell flat on his face and broke his nose, Joaquinn came right in time just to catch him.
"Careful." The Alpha warned and wrapped his arms around Fyre as he supported the Omega's weight. Just like Fyre who came to check up on Tian Zi and Maverick because they were taking way too long getting the drinks and ice, Joaquinn also followed not long after, worried about his younger brother when he saw Fyre marching away from where the two should be.
"T-thank you. I-I'm sorry." Fyre whispered. He wanted to escape from the place immediately. Currently, he couldn't understand what he's feeling, all he knows is that it's too painful and it's making him difficult to breathe; he's surprised his body still hasn't reacted and had been holding on. He had never felt this way before. His mind was currently blank, he didn't even know what to think except the pain he was currently feeling deep inside his chest and it was too much for him. He wanted it to stop but he didn't know how.
In the first place, he didn't even know how and why this started.
"Wait. A-are you okay?" Joaquinn asked, shocked himself to see Fyre suddenly having tears on his face streaming down non-stop. He watched the Omega touch his cheeks and become stunned at his own tears before he quickly wiped them and more tears streamed down to wet his cheeks once again.
"I-I'm fine. I-I just need fresh air..." Fyre stuttered and hid his face as he finally escaped, leaving Joaquinn all worried and confused. And by this, Joaquinn was put into a dilemma whether he should follow Fyre or not. He's worried about Maverick but it's clear to him that Fyre needed someone right now.
With a sigh, instead of proceeding to where Maverick and Tian Zi were, Joaquinn followed Fyre who was trailing the way to the beach. He didn't do anything, he didn't approach him or talk to him. He was just there to observe and make sure Fyre wouldn't do anything stupid. He didn't know what happened but he knew the Omega was broken and that is why he's crying silently while staring at the dark horizon.
"Joaquinn..." After a minute or so, Fyre suddenly called from afar between his heavy sobs. He didn't turn around or anything but he knew the Alpha had been there since the beginning.
"What is it?" Stepping a little closer, Joaquinn replied softly. It may not seem like it but he does have a soft spot for Omegas mainly because Maverick was an Omega and he mostly took care of him until now. Of course, there were a lot of times where he wanted to help his younger cousin, Daniel, when the Omega was with the Sullens but he suppressed himself because he knew his father would get furious and be violent. The only way for him to help Daniel at that time was to avoid him. Because he knew that if all three of them helped Daniel, they would be the ones who would get it from their father. That's just the way they grew up and their mother's last words were to follow their father's words to protect each other.
"C-can you get me a strong liquor to drink, please?" Fyre begged between his sniffles. He sounded so pitiful and Joaquinn couldn't reply right away. He was worried that if he declined, Fyre would feel left out and that there would be no one on his side; he would continue to cry and eventually try to harm himself. And if he agreed to the request, he was also worried that Fyre would get too drunk and accidentally do something he would regret. Joaquinn's mother was the same when she was still alive. She would constantly and secretly drink her sorrows away because that was her only escape. When she drank she was happier and when she was not, she would always cry and find ways to hurt herself. He never asked what her mother's problem was and why she was miserable but all three of them grew up watching her eventually destroying herself.
"Would that make you feel better?"
"Hmm. It will. I...I just want to forget and block off this pain I'm feeling..." Fyre replied sniffling. Even at this moment, he didn't know why he's feeling this way just from witnessing Maverick and Tian Zi making out. He admitted that he was shocked to see both Alphas being intimate, but it shouldn't have this kind of effect on him.
'Ahh...just thinking about this is making me cry in pain again.' Fyre thought and wiped his tears before finally turning around to face Joaquinn who was now standing approximately 4 meters away from him from his previous spot.
"Okay. Don't move from there. I'll go get a bottle." Joaquinn sighed and in the end gave up. As long as he's there to watch Fyre, everything should be fine, he believed.
"Thank you." Fyre replied weakly and watched the Alpha walk away before he once again watched the horizon and his tears once again dripped down, unable to stop them. He wasn't that dense and he has theories as to why he was feeling this way but after what he witnessed, he no longer wanted to entertain it. He didn't even want to confirm it and just wanted to deny it until he could no longer feel. He wanted to bury whatever feelings he had deep and hope it would no longer come out and hurt him like how he's hurting now.
"I said don't move from there." Fyre stood from his squatting position and planned to wet his feet a little by the shore when Joaquinn suddenly arrived slightly panting from his run.
"I was just planning to wet my feet," Fyre replied softly and did what he initially planned but this time with Joaquinn closely walking beside him. He was holding a bottle of expensive red wine and two wine glasses.
"It's funny how one person could get hurt so easily..." Fyre stated, briefly laughing at himself. His eyes followed in his footsteps as it got drenched with the seawater. Joaquinn didn't reply and just nodded. He didn't know if he was in the position to ask but he believed he should give Fyre time to speak out. No doubt something he had witnessed had broken his heart but observing the Omega now, he bravely held on. Yes, he cried but he could see Fyre slowly picking himself up.
"And it's no one's fault. I'm so pathetic..." Fyre added and laughed again but he soon choked and started crying in sorrow.
"Fuck these tears!!" He cursed as he tilted his head up thinking his tears would go back but unfortunately, they didn't and it only made him cry more.
"Fuck! Where's that drink? I need it!" Knowing that it was useless, he shifted his attention to Joaquinn and quickly looked for the liquor he asked for earlier. When he found it by the Alpha's hand, without warning he immediately snatched the bottle planning to chug it down. However, since it was sealed and difficult to open, his tears streamed down even harder and whined.
"W-why isn't this opening?! Dammit!" Fyre whined and bawled, and he absolutely looked messed up given the fact that he's already a little drunk from earlier. Seeing all this, Joaquinn felt sorry for him and right now he just wanted to make the Omega feel comforted. Without saying anything, he took the bottle and gave the two wine glasses to Fyre instead. He took out the bottle opener from his pocket and quickly opened the bottle as it gave out an audible popping sound.
"Drink slowly." Joaquinn silently poured red wine to the glasses Fyre was holding and later reminded the Omega but of course, ignoring his message, Fyre chugged down the red liquid like it was water and in just a few seconds, the two glasses he was holding were left empty and prompted the Alpha to pour him more. Meanwhile, Joaquinn was shocked because wine isn't supposed to be drunk that way and two glasses in less than a minute on average will knock down a person.
"More!" Fyre sniffled as he demanded.
"I think that's enough." Joaquinn argued and checked if the Omega was still okay. Unfortunately, he didn't look so well and he quickly regretted ever bringing the liquor.
"No~ I want more! The pain's still there! I need more, please~" Fyre whined as he begged and tried to snatch the bottle. But since Joaquinn was taller and stronger, it was easy for him to keep the bottle from the Omega's reach.
"You're already drunk just from that. You need to rest." Joaquinn recommended, and held Fyre in place to prevent him from falling. As the glasses Fyre was holding dropped onto the fine sand, he heard a familiar voice calling for him and suddenly making him freeze. He didn't need to look to know it was Tian Zi who was calling him but right now, he didn't want to see him or hear his voice.
"Can you let him go now?" Tian Zi asked Joaquinn, frowning to which the older Alpha caused to raise one of his eyebrows.
"I would but he'd fall," Joaquinn admonished, frowning as well. He could feel hostility from the younger Alpha's words and he didn't like that especially when he didn't do anything wrong.
"Fine." Tian Zi replied and approached the two but as he was about to pull Fyre away, he stood stiff when the Omega suddenly yelled and hugged Joaquinn instead.
"No! I don' wanna. I don' wanna to see you or hear youu!" Fyre yelled, burying his face against Joaquinn's chest to which made Tian Zi annoyed and confused why the Omega was suddenly acting this way. They were still okay 20 minutes ago.
"Fyre, why are you acting this way? Come here, I'll help you settle down so you could rest in your room, you're drunk." Tian Zi tried to convince. At this point, everyone was already coming their way including Maverick, Remi, Jonathan, and Ashton asking what was happening. Joaquinn explained what happened and they're all up to convince Fyre to let Joaquinn go.
"Fyre, you're drunk. You need to rest. And Joaquinn also needs to rest, you can let him go now." Remi conveyed carefully. This was the first time he saw his younger brother drunk.
"Nooo! Joaquinn can help me resh. I don' neeeed anyofyou." Fyre stubbornly replied as he slurred his words.
"I'm fine. I'll just help him get to his room." Joaquinn replied having no choice.
"No! I'll do it." Tian Zi however still insisted, no longer liking to see the older Alpha's paws on Fyre's drunk body. He once again attempted to snatch Fyre into his arms but as the Omega did earlier, Fyre didn't like that and pushed him away only to tighten his hold on Joaquinn.
"Zi, I think we should just let Joaquinn do it. It's getting late and it's better for Fyre to quickly have a rest." Jonathan interrupted this time. He too didn't like that Fyre had his arms on another Alpha but being that he has no right to feel jealous, he kept his emotions in like he's been doing for the past few days. He had now confirmed his feeling and he could no longer deny it so he's been trying to keep his distance but to no avail, he continued to feel strong emotions whenever he would see both Tian Zi and Fyre being together, and now with Joaquinn Sullen.
After much consideration, Tian Zi finally nodded as his hand formed a fist especially when he saw Fyre being lifted like a princess by another man, another Alpha. Of course, this scene didn't escape Maverick's eyes and he just shaked his head knowing that Fyre had seen them earlier making out and that was why this was happening.
