My mom always told me, a one night stand is like summer... hot as hell, totally thrilling, and gone before you know it. She told me this one time when she was drunk, and I always told her that I would never have one, because I need to have a relationship to be intimate with someone, and I always thought one night stands were for well... people like my brothers. But on Halloween night in 2017 I became apart of that, and she was right.. a little bit. My dumb mistake was being in love with him.
I quickly picked up my things, gathering some of my clothes, and putting on some clothes as well. Turning to a sleeping Josh or as many know him as Chip. I didn't even put my heels on, I held them in my hands as I quietly made it out of the apartment. And when I got into the lift that's when I put my heels on, truly I don't remember that much from last night. So probably later in the day everything will settle in.
Let me tell you, later in the day I definitely remembered it. And I remembered it a lot when I saw the hickeys. Each one having a memory be enlightened in my brain. Luckily he didn't give me any on my neck, but I do certainly have a lot.
We just reached his flat, and he was eagerly trying to get the door open. Which only caused me to chuckle from how he was acting. I moved in and started kissing the crook of his neck. Which only made him be more frantic than he already was.
When we got inside the flat that's when it got more fun, he quickly pulled me towards his room. And we instantly starting kissing each other. He was determined to get my shirt off of me as quickly as he could. He moved me to his bed, and once he placed me down his shirt went off. He immediately started kissing my neck, and moved down to my tits which caused a light moan from me. Which caused him to suck harder. " Josh, " I mutter, he moves up to look at me.
" Yeah? Am I doing something wrong? " He asks starting to worry, I just shake my head. I grab a hold of his neck and pull him towards me and slam my lips against his. Him quickly stabilizing himself by placing his hands on both sides of my head. And me wrapping my legs loosely around his waist.
God I had way too much to drink last night. And from looking around last night we did it multiple times due to the condoms that I saw. The problem is that it's been a month, and I'm late. I'm late, and I'm usually never late. My little sister, Sadie, and I are at the store currently. She's 14, her birthday is in August. " When did you start yours? " She asks me, she's a late bloomer. Well that's what my mom says.
" I was 13, seriously Sades it will come when your body is ready for it to come, " I tell her. She nods towards me.
" Don't you need some? " She asks pointing to the tampons. I shake my head. " Why not? " She asks me.
" Well, cause I have some at home, and I'm late, but that happens sometimes, " I tell her, she gives me a nod. That was the biggest mistake of my life, telling her I was late.
Because days later we were eating dinner, and a fight broke out among my parents and Sadie. " How is it a problem that I'm a late bloomer?! Some girls don't start until they're 16! Plus even then Y/n's late so why does it matter?! " Sadie screams, which causes the attention to be turned onto me. My dad believes that if you're a late bloomer something is wrong, and if you're late you're pregnant.
My dad has this idea that we need to be a perfect family, and look like we have a perfect life. The amount of fights I've had with him are too many to count. I've gone to Josh so many times just to rant.
" He just.. he's trying to control my life! It's so annoying! " I scream towards him. He walks up to me, and sits me down on his bed. And just hugs me, and I instantly hug him back. He kisses my forehead and picks my head up so I look at him. Yes I know our friendship isn't a friendship.
" It will be okay, you're about to move out. And when that happens he won't be able to control you, " he whispers to me, which causes me to nod towards him.
" What do you mean she's late? " He asks looking at Sadie. I've kept my head down. " Girl you better answer my question! " He then screams.
" She just said she was late, but it's fine it happens, " she tells him.
" Dad my sleep schedule has been corrupted lately, and I'm stressed with stuff with my job. Obviously it will affect my period, " I comment, I don't want him to get angry with Sadie, she did nothing wrong.
" Have you had sex recently? " My mom asks me, which causes me to advert my eyes from my dad to my mom. She could tell from how I looked at her that it was a yes. She's always been able to calm dad down. " Honey... it will be fine, her period will come in a few days. She has been stressed lately, " she adds standing up slowly and moving over to dad.
" Laurie... no, I saw that look. She's had sex recently, who is it?! " He screams at me starting to walk towards me. I pull Sadie out of the way and behind me.
" I'm not telling you! You'll kill him! " I scream back, I didn't see what happened next. I felt it, his hand planted on my cheek. I instantly held my cheek from the pain and stinging from it hurting. I looked back at him with tears in my eyes. Everyone in the room had gasped, but not my father he continued looking at me with rage in his eyes.
" You're going to Carlisle, " he says harshly. " Emmett, " - " Dad, " he looked at mom, and she looked at Sadie and I.
" Then I'm going with her, " she comments. " Mum- " Sadie and I both begin. " No girls, you two go to Sadie's room. I need to talk to your father, " she comments. We both nod, and walk upstairs. Sadie while we were walking grabbed an ice pack.
" I'm sorry, " she whispers as she places the ice pack on my cheek. " I didn't know he would have acted like that, " she adds.
" It's not your fault Sades, you didn't know, I'm not mad at you, " I comment towards her which causes her to nod towards me.
" Were you serious? Would he try to kill him? " She asks, I knew that question was coming. I started tearing up at the idea of Chip being dead. And she instantly grabs a hold of me. " You don't have to answer, I'm assuming from your reaction that's a yes, " she adds. I just begin to sob, and she holds onto me tightly.
Him and I have a more than friends friendship, we've kissed once before that night. And if you didn't know about that night, you wouldn't think anything happened.
We were in his room, and the two of us were just playing around with each other. I'm always the one trying to get him to take a break, and enjoy the youth that he's in. He's been at his computer for the past 6 hours, yes literally 6 hours. So I moved his hand away from his mouse, and move him around to face me. " Tiny, " he begins. I don't even let him finish, I grab a hold of his hand and move him up, pulling him away from his computer. He immediately starts fighting back, of course play fighting, but he starts fighting back. He immediately grabs a hold of my waist and picks me up and tosses me off the bed. Which I quickly get back up, and grab a hold of him and tackle him onto the bed. Me straddling him, and holding onto his wrist.
" Okay... truce, truce, " he tells me, I give him a nod and he slowly sits up. And I'm still straddling him. I saw his eyes move down to my lips, and then back at mine. By reflex I started moving in, and we started kissing each other. His hands resting on my hips, and mine around his neck.
" WHERE IS CHIPPO?! " Freezy screams, that pulled us away from each other. And me to quickly get off of him, and move to his chair. " There he is, " he comments opening the door. " Hey Y/n, " he adds.
" Hi Cal, " I comment chuckling.
Him and I never talked about that kiss, we didn't until that Halloween night. Which was 3 months before that night.
Chip comes up behind me, and wraps his arms around my waist. Turning me around in the process. " Oh no, it's your birthday morning all over again, " I joke with him.
" Definitely not... " he whispers leaning on me, him trapping me between the counter and him.
" What do you mean definitely not? You totally made a move on me that day, " I comment towards him as I wrap my arms around his neck.
" As I recall... you're the one who leaned in, " he whispers.
" And as I recall, you're the one who looked at my lips, " I whisper back. " Giving me the signal and approval that it would be okay to kiss you. Which implies-"
" That you need to shut up, " he finishes as he slams his lips against mine. And we start kissing each other. Which quickly lead to more, and eventually us leaving the party to go back to his flat.
Mum came into her room at midnight, and told us we were going to Cambridge to stay with our grandparents. She didn't tell us anything, just say to pack all of Sadie's things. When we left we were greeted by dad drinking, and Sadie and I quickly walked out.
When we were in the car that's when she told us the truth. They were getting a divorce, she said that him hitting me was the last straw. And that she should have left 10 years ago, Sadie was fine with it. She was happy about it, and mum would easily win custody of Sadie. He's a terrible man, he should be in jail.
" I'll have to go into hiding, " I tell her. She nods towards me.
" No, why? " Sadie asks.
" Cause if I am pregnant dad... he'll try to do something to me or the baby, " I comment, she nods towards me.
But the bad thing is I can't tell anyone, including the boys, I will have to fully disappear. He'll still have power, that's the main reason why I need to hide. And he doesn't need to find out who if I am pregnant who the father is.
Chip's P.O.V.
2021...
She disappeared on day and never came back. Without saying goodbye, without saying anything. It wrecked everybody, but the boys will say it wrecked me the most. I'm just hoping she didn't leave, because we slept together. I would hate myself if that was the reason. Because I've always said I would rather have her as a friend than have her as something more. We all tried to search for her, contacted her family and everything. Sadie texted me saying 'for her safety she's gone, she wanted to tell you so badly where she was going. But I don't even know where she is, our dad has gone crazy. With the divorce and stuff that has been happening, he hurt her. I'm sorry, I'll tell her you said hi.'
I miss her, I've missed her to this day. I haven't been the same, because my best friend is gone. Fans tell me things, but I don't necessarily believe them. Some say she's in America now, some says she's in Canada, and some say she's dead. But currently we're at the England vs Denmark game. And we're having a super good time.
When the game was over we started walking out when someone grabbed a hold of Lux. Well a kid grabbed a hold of Lux. So we instantly stopped. He was crying, so he must have lost his mum or dad in the crowd. " What's your name? " Lux asks getting down on his level.
" Benji... my mummy... I want my mummy, " he cries.
" Don't worry buddy, we'll find her. Do you know what she looks like? " I ask him.
" Red... " he whispers.
" I'll go get security I'm sure by now the mum has realized he son is missing, " Chris comments, which I decided to go with him. And by the time we got back, the kid was gone.
" Did the mum come? " Chris asks, Harry nods in response.
" Why are all of you guys acting like you just saw a ghost? " I ask, which Freezy just pointed to something. I turned around to what he's pointing at, nope that's definitely somebody.
It's her, this is the first time I'm seeing her in 4 years pretty much. Wow, she looks more mature, I mean she's what? 24 now? Well she's turning 24 this year, she's 23. Wow, last time I saw her. She was what 19? She's talking to someone, I assume Sadie... I mean how old will Sadie be now? Like 18? So yeah that makes sense.
I'm trying to read her lips. All I've gotten so far was 'yeah... that was amazing'. They start walking away and so do we, and we slowly catch up to them.
" Mummy! " Y/n turned around towards us, why did she turn around. As she turned around a kid ran past us. " We won! " He cheers.
" I know handsome, " she says chuckling.
" Y/n! " Harry screams, which I instantly hit him. She makes eye contact with Harry and then makes eye contact with me.
" Hey guys, " she says walking towards us. She handed off her son to Sadie. She hugs all of us, and we have light conversation.
" How have you been doing? " Theo asks, we're all just trying to come up with some questions without stating the obvious ones. She has a kid... she seriously has a kid?!
" Alright... last 4 years has been chaotic. I'm officially back in London with is very nice, I actually moved here in January 2020, so right before the pandemic happened, " she comments towards us.
" Moved? Where were you? " Lux asks.
" Oh... mate that's a story, " she says towards us. I see her kid walking up to her, and asking to be picked up. Which she quickly does. " Arlo, can you say hi? " She asks. She has a kid, who did she slept with?
" Hi, " he says shyly, we all say hi back to him.
" When was he born? " I ask her, she looks at me and then looks at him.
" July 21st, 2018, truly it's a long story, " she tells us. " My number is still the same, text me... we'll meet up, " she adds. " You all deserve a reason okay... but why I left so abruptly I had a good reason, " she then says. Arlo is messing with her rings, and I am looking for a specific ring. Which what caught me by surprise was that her left ring finger, has a ring on it. But it's not a wedding ring or anything, it's a ring with the initial J on it. " I need to go now, but seriously text me. My number is the same, " we all nod towards her, and she begins to walk away and Freezy places his hand on my shoulder.
" It's like we're strangers now, " I whisper to him, he turns me around and hugs me. " We're strangers now, " I say beginning to sob. I don't know what to feel, I'm angry and upset. Obviously I'm crying, but I'm angry at her. Like truly angry at her for just disappearing, and also not even telling us where or why she was leaving.
The next few days have been rough for me, but I managed to continue on having a smile on my face. What I didn't expect was when I entered my room Y/n was standing there looking at the photos. " Y/n? " I ask, she turns around to look at me. " How did you?- "
" Theo, thought it would be good for us to talk before I talked to anyone else, " she tells me. I just walk past her to set my things down. " Why are you being so cold? " She asks me. I don't know why, but that set me off.
" You left without saying goodbye! You didn't even tell anyone where you were going! Do you know how much that hurt?! Having the girl who's been your best friend for years just leave?! The girl I am in- the girl who was always there for me just leave! " I yell towards her, she stared at me with tears filling her eyes. " Do you?! " I ask her. She walks towards me and hugs me tightly. I didn't hug her back, I was too upset with her. She continues hugging me, and I can feel she's crying a little bit. She moves away and looks at me.
" Do you want me to leave you alone? " She asks, I look away from her and then back to her.
" Honestly I don't know, but I was hurt that day you left. I had to find out through Sadie that you were gone, Sadie... who was what? 14 at the time. So you better have a great explanation to why you just picked up your whole life and left. Leaving me and everyone behind, " I comment.
" Okay... I can tell you don't want me here, " she comments as she begins to collect her things. She turns back to me handing me a USB. " Watch it, you won't listen to me. But you'll listen to her, " she adds. She opens the door and Cal and Harry are standing there.
She just walks out, Cal comes in and pulls the USB in. There's a video, and he clicks it.
" Okay... hopefully I don't cry, " it's Y/n from 2017. " Hey... Josh, um... things have happened. Some bad things has happened, my dad found out that I'm pregnant. And for my safety, I have to leave. Which really hurts me to say, because I can't tell you in person. Um... just know I love you, and I'll raise our kid the best I can... " I didn't even let the video finish, I ran towards the door and looked for her.
" Do you still love me? " I ask her, she turns around to face me.
" Of course, I never stopped.. but I couldn't tell you, and trust me I wanted to... so... so badly, " she tells me. I walk towards her slamming my lips against hers and she quickly kisses me back.
" I love you... it makes sense your dad is a terrible man, are you alright? He didn't hurt you right? Cause I can get Reev to beat the shit out of him, " I tell her which causes her to laugh.
" I'm fine, Arlo he's been going through a lot recently, but you'll meet him. He's been telling me recently about how excited he is to meet his dad, which only started getting me to think about how you didn't even know and it made me upset because- " I cut her off by kissing her, and she kisses me again.
" I'll meet him when it's time, all I care about right now is holding you in my arms. I missed you, " I whisper to her.
" I missed you too, " she whispers back.
It took a lot of healing, but we finally got her back in our lives. And it's amazing, being able to have her back in our lives. And Arlo, that kid is amazing, and he's mine. Never would I have thought he was apart of my plan in life this early, but he's mine. And I'm going to love him and Y/n till the day I die.
